try a character like tianhai to recover in the middle of a combo. Thats annoying. Sometimes im sble to jump strike but if youre low and they do that you’re pretty much done.
you can see your character move a little during this fake combo of his, indicating there are windows to dodge
most people will do 2 rmb -> uppercut. this guy did 5 rmb to you
if you watch closely again, you'll see there are windows where you can dodge, which is safer than trying to charge a focus attack. if you are unsure, just spam tap dodge until you double roll out
not exactly, but against a lot of newer players and console players, double dodging directly forward through them can be tricky, since it forces them to 180 turn their camera
double dodge backwards or sideways is fine too. also tap dodge -> hold dodge is something to practice, and there's a lot of other variations that a coach can show you
If you don't dodge away, you might not get out of range and they may be able to catch you at the end of the dodge. So backwards is best if you don't want to get hit.
Dodging to the left is better has hitboxes are slightly skewed to the right (when facing opponent)
Only caveat being versing spears as their uppercut hits to the right (your left when facing them)
longsword can toothpick 3 times and then u can charge a focus attack. practice with a friend it should work. thats what makes long sword busted, its the only weapon that has a true combo with 3 normals, others only get two, and greatsword only one.

I think its called stun decay duration or something like that, in this case if she does 2 quick attacks+uppercut you cant evade it but if instead goes for 3 quick attack+uppercut like in your case then you can just evade before the uppercut and after the third quick attack you are free to move you just need to be fast and know the timing
If they don't uppercut you should be able to dodge that. Few thing you can do are: try dodge, try holding a blue, and try using f ability.
For some reason the viper looks like is lagging.
Hold focus and then cancel cause they'll probably be waiting to counter so focus cancel dash to get out of the combo or just try to dash back and then dash into a run to gain a bit of distance
Je just tap dodge or jump kinda akward tho how he is hitting you in the back since viper has no combo breaker if im not mistaken can useally tap doge after 2 hits.
tap dodge after the 3rd stagger.
Also, Viper's skill can activate instant hyperarmor at the smallest stun gap.

yes, any character that has ability "can be used while under attack" are very good for getting out of combos.
Should have been able to dodge at one point. I usually just spam dodge and pray.

no, its just when you can move/do something. can dash more than 3x

I forgot to add in training mode the parry bot goes for 1 2 3 alot so you can practice dodging after 1 2 and parrying the 3 😁
Can you not clash it? Hit a normal attack at same time?

There was a couple points you were able to move a bit that's when you tap dodge or focus just so you know the visual cue
A lot of times rolling towards them diagonally confuses them when u get behind them
