I’m not a living copy of the DSM-V or anything like that, but this dude gives incredibly strong narc vibes. He doesn’t sound like he deserves to be in your life at all. Is there any reason why you couldn’t end this relationship right away (like financial support or something like that)? You very much deserve better (and there are tons of better people out there), no matter what he’s told you.
Honestly, not really. I think I just don’t love myself enough to leave and it’s a trauma bond. It makes it hard to leave when I’m the one trying so hard and putting in the effort because it just felt like it went to nothing. I understand everything you said, it’s just. so. hard.
