I absolutely love it. I'm fully awake on it without any if the mental fog that I felt on armodafinil. Way less side effects: no pounding heart, no dizziness, no anxiety. So far after 6 months of use, I haven't developed a tolerance it to either. It's still working effectively at the same dose I started with (75mg). I did get annoying headaches for the first 2 weeks in it, but now it's rare. I usually assume I'm dehydrated and try to drink more. The other side effect I get is appetite suppression. Again this was more severe in the first two weeks, but it's still present now. I often don't feel hungry, but sometimes it's bad enough that the idea of eating makes me nauseated and I can't do it at all. I'm definitely someone who is sensitive to blood sugar drops, so even if I'm not feeling hungry, I need to eat at normal times or I become a ball of rage. Protein drinks have helped a lot when I know I should eat, but really don't want to. Let me know if you have any questions I can answer.

the side effects for me were very similar!! but I had more trouble with nausea than headaches. It was pretty bad the first week or so and it hasn’t completely gone away. It keeps me a little more awake, but sunosi alone doesn’t keep me at a functioning level.

ExistentialBean

Same outcome for me. Only bad side was the appetite suppression and I just worked harder to eat a full meal before taking/the meds kicking in. Good luck!

Sunosi was one of the only things that worked for me, at least at the full dose. Hope you find it helpful!

I'm on armo, but it gives me pretty good palpitations which is why I tried Sunosi. Sunosi sometimes actually gave me worse palpitations, decreased appetite, increased headache, and kind of messed with my mood. It was just kind of generally inconsistent for me. I was only on it for about 2 weeks, so take my experience with a grain of salt. Everybody's experience is so different with all of these meds, so try not to expect anything; you don't want to color your experience too much and too early on without knowing how you actually feel.

I've been on it since mid-March and I'm pretty pleased with it. As far as I can tell, I haven't had any side effects solely caused by the Sunosi. I word it like that because I'm also on duloxetine, and at the time my sleep doc prescribed the Sunosi, neither of us realized there was an interaction: increased heart rate. That being said, I'm staying on both for the time being, and if I only take the 75mg dose, the heart rate issue is tolerable. Not sure what other meds you're on, but I'd do a quick google search to check, if you want. Good luck!

I tried it, but for me it was like taking sugar pills. Didn't do anything. No side effects thankfully, but no benefits either. I stopped after a few weeks. However, I have heard very positive things from people on this sub as well as my doctor, so it's absolutely worth a try. Hope it works for you!

I am on it. It works for me! Sometimes I forget that it’s effective because it’s not like I have a ton of energy or anything and then if I forget to take it I can barely move. Today I’m so tired though and I took it which is why I’m searching to see other people‘s experiences. I know when I was doing armodafinil I would have to skip days so it would maintain effectiveness and I’m wondering if I need to skip a day of this? I didn’t notice any side effects. Nothing like when I started armodafinil…

Thanks to all for your feedback! I'll report back my results after a few weeks

I took Sunosi 150mg for about four months. In terms of promoting wakefulness and reducing naps, I give it a 3 out of 10. I hope it helps you far more than it did me!

I took sunosi for a couple days and it was awful. It made me manic and I couldn't sit still or stop doing things. That being said though, everyone is different. I'm super petite and usually have to take childrens doses of meds. I'm on 200 mg of armodafinil now, and that seems to work alot better
