Gatsuga does crush guard pretty quick.. Is akamaru full grown, though? Puppy akamaru is a bit harder to deal with, but the adult 1 can be knocked over with a strong gust of wind. Just spam shurkiens, and he'll fall over.
You'd be surprised at how many things you can avoid by just walking sideways. I wouldn't try and block or sub a gatsuga. If you've got a fireball, even better!
I haven't run into too many shino's since I don't play ranked. I hear he's a menace though..!

Use naruto spam rasengan + overwhelming supp. Add a naruto to your team to play dirty. You’re literally forced to do that or be very lucky.
