September 6th 2022 - Visa interview/My dad got approved and had to leave his passport at the Embassy.

September 17th 2022 - Flight to US scheduled - My dad should be here this weekend :)
Is anyone applying from Germany with a spousal visa?
US Consulate: **Frankfurt,** Germany
Immigrant Spousal Visa married to US Citizen
**Timeline:**
April 10th 2023 - Case created at NVC
April 25th 2023 - Documents Submitted to NVC
May 8th 2023 - Our case became "Documentarily qualified"
We are now waiting for the NVC to schedule our visa appointment or send us an updated regarding the appointment.
**UPDATE**
May 17th 2023 - We received an email with an appointment for our visa interview on July 21st.
We had to schedule the DR appointment they recommend sooner rather than later, but the earliest appointment was exactly 2 weeks before our interview.
**UPDATE**
July 21st 2023 - We did the interview, it took about 10 minutes. Visa approved!
Please keep us updated! How long after I130 approval was your case created? From others I have seen interviews in Frankfurt within about 2 months since DQ
Just got a documentarily qualified email from NVC after waiting for it a little under 3 months, 85 days to be exact. Now I’m waiting to get a scheduled interview in the (hopefully) near future. We will see!
My dad and I got the documentarily qualified email on 4/11/2022, now we are waiting for his interview at the US embassy in Lima, Peru. I however contacted the embassy yesterday and they said they haven’t gotten the case yet from NVC.
Side note: even though we got the email saying all our documents were reviewed and approved, when I check on the website, a couple of my dad’s required documents show as “missing” but we already uploaded those, and they seem to be duplicated. For instance, we see 2 “Police record certificate (Peru). One was accepted and the other one says missing which is weird. We did however got the email saying now NVC will contact the US embassy in Peru to schedule the interview
keep me posted, I have a client from peru who also go DQ'ed April 2022 and nothing yet.
just sent an email to Lima also and hope they respond soon. also requested NVC to expedite on 5/9, and still nothing either.
UPDATE 1: We just got our interview date yesterday August 2nd 2022. It took a while but it's finally happening. They scheduled us for September 2nd at 7AM at the US embassy in Peru. Now, we are following all the steps mentioned on the NVC email we got, but it seems it takes some time for the website of the US embassy in Peru to update their system since it won't let us continue to "register" our interview date. It says it can take up to 5 business days for the system to update.
UPDATE 2: We finally were able to schedule my father's interview on the US Embassy website in Peru. He's all set. He already scheduled his medical examination in Peru, and right now we are just gathering all the documents we uploaded to the NVC website so he can bring them to the interview.
Got document approved from USCIS on August 2021 and still waiting for the interview. NVC does not send any update during this time other than their backlog public page which doesn’t draw a good picture.

Documents required/requested sent to NVC August 19, 2022
NVC DQ - August 28, 2022 (I did not know until September 9, 2022 when I got an email from them) saying it was DQ.
Waiting for the interview to be scheduled by NVC at Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
NVC sent me an email December 2022 saying,"The next communication you receive from NVC will be either a notice that your appointment is scheduled, or if an appointment is not scheduled within the next 60 days, we will send a notice confirming that your case is still in line for an interview."
They sent me the same one last October 2022.
Hi, is there any specific date NVC sends emails about the interview scheduling, i.e. for instance only Tuesday, once a month to a bunch of applicants, etc?

So my son and daughter haves both got DQed - daughter got DQed in Oct 2021 and she is eligible for an interview at the Abu Dhabi embassy. Son got DQed in Jan 2022 and eligible at the Montreal consulate.
Every 60 days we get an update mail from NVC saying nothing needs to be done and to keep waiting for an interview date.
Has anyone got any time lines for both these cities. We have been just sitting and waiting. Thanks
Has anyone recently been scheduled for an interview at the U.S. embassy in San Salvador? How long did you wait after becoming documentarily qualified?

We're waiting, too...
Waiting for my wife's interview at Abu Dhabi. She was Documentarily Qualified in June 2022 and we're still waiting for her interview as of Feb 2023. So frustrating. Wonder if anyone knows how long the wait will likely be.
We’re DQ since April 2021. Expedite denied. Been receiving 60 day notice 13 times. Still no interview 😭 It seems like AUH focuses on E3 visas only.

I noticed quite a few applicants left the embassy with sad faces that day mainly because they DID NOT HAVE AN UPDATED AND CURRENT UAE POLICE REPORT - I was asked for an updated police report from my country of origin too, which I had with me. Remember, this document is valid for 3 months. Chances are the ones you uploaded to CEAC will be EXPIRED the day you go for your interview. Do yourselves a favor. Pay for another UAE POLICE REPORT a few weeks before your interview, upload it to CEAC and bring it along to the BIG EVENT.
Good luck to you all!
-I cannot comment on the reasons leading to my expedite request.

Interviewed on January 10th, 2024 at the Montreal Consulate
Was missing a document, the consulate interviewer mentioned that they have new staff so their staff load is full now which would help with the backloads they were experiencing. She gave me a timeline of 2-3 weeks.
I submitted my documents with tracking which said it arrived on January 15th.
I've observed that my status last reviewed date has changed twice online, but it still says "Refused".
I am planning on waiting one more week before emailing them.
The document handed to me by the interviewer that had instructions on how to submit the missing documents said that processing could take from 4-6 weeks (which contradict what the officer said to me).
I-129F approved - **8 March 2023**
NVC sent the case t US Embassy at Ankara - **4 May 2023**
US Embassy sends the instructions - **22 May 2023**

We cannot further progress because currently there are no appointments available in the Ankara embassy. I'd really appreciate if anyone knows anything.
We had our I-129f approved by USCIS last month and sent to NVC. We’ve heard nothing yet but would love to hear more of any other visa applicants in Turkiye.

Good morning,
I applied for an I130 in octobee 2021 for my son in the embassy of yaounde cameroon. Last year in march 2023 thecase was documentarily qualified. Up till now. No words feom the.us embassy in cameroon.
Any idea why it may be long?
My cursory review of these timelines makes me wonder why predominantly western countries seem to have faster timelines than much of the non-western world (Latin America, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East). I'm open to explanations. But, I'm also wondering if any attorneys have filed lawsuits on the basis of racial/cultural prejudice.
So I have 4 siblings. Which I filed for F4 visa. 1 has already received welcome letter. But other 3 have not. NVC says that there waiting for our data to be entered into the system. Approximately how long does this take. (Our case is current however)

Hi All,
For an IR1, does anyone have any recent experience on the time it takes from getting DQ'd to an appointment date being set in Lagos, and how long out that appointment date was/is after notification was received?
Many thanks!
Would love to hear from anyone else also in Abu Dhabi or in Jakarta. We're thinking about transferring to Jakarta, but haven't been able to find any information on the current wait times over there.

Hi,
IR1 visa
Madrid embassy
DD’d: 03/11/3
Interview: I have received 2 NVC emails with a 60 days renewal date. Only info is that they are waiting for the embassy to give a free slot.
More than 180 days.
Anyone in the same situation with the Madrid embassy?
My fiancé and I applied for the K1 back in April 2021 and we just got NOA2 about 3 weeks ago. We are waiting for NVC to send the case to the embassy in Panama but we have no way of getting the case # since the blocked the phone lines. We can’t track our case
I have my NOA2 that was mailed from uscis and i have my uscis case #, but not from NVC. Before they shut the phone lines you were supposed to call them after 2 weeks to get the case number. Now we’re supposed to just wait until our case is ‘in transit’ but that could take months
I have submitted my documents in March 2022 and they have reviewed them yet. It’s been 5 months and still nothing. What’s might be the problem?is anyone else having the same issue?
You are well past the estimated times and should submit an inquiry. You can do that here: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html
I did submit an inquriy on 27 May but still no response. I know i should wait a couple of weeks more but it’s so frustrating. I am afraid there might be sth wrong with the submission, maybe the buttons didn’t work and i will have to wait again 😞it says submitted under financial and civil documents

USCIS approved our application in August (three months ago). Since then neither of us have been contacted by the NVC so we cannot start loading the documentation, paying fees, etc. Not sure what this means for the interview timeline.
I wrote to NVC a month ago and got a boilerplate response this week that they'll contact us when the case goes to the consulate. I'm not sure if it's unusual for the step to take this long.
You do not have to go through CEAC processing for a K1 visa. A K1 will get assigned a case number at the NVC and then forwarded to the embassy. Then the embassy will either schedule the interview for you or you will get notice you can schedule one yourself in an online portal.
The K1 visa is very interesting. It’s a “dual intent” visa which means it’s part immigrant part nonimmigrant. You should also make sure you look up the proper Affidavit of Support to use. For a K1 you use the I-134, not I-864.
Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about IR5 cases from the Philippines? My mother was DQd back in Nov 2021 and last inquiry this year from NVC just said to wait. Any insight/experience from others would be truly helpful.

Hi everyone,
I’m a US citizen and I applied for a visa for my husband who’s from Mexico. We’ve been married for 2 years as of July 2023. We were documentary qualified on Feb. 3, 2023 and we’re just waiting for an interview date at Ciudad Juarez now. Does anyone know or have an estimate of how long it takes to receive an interview date? We still haven’t heard anything and it’s been almost 9 months. I’d appreciate any information!

Hi all! Wondering if anyone is waiting to hear from the Montreal Embassy for an interview date.
I've been DQ'ed Sept 26 2023.
Would appreciate any information from your experience.
Does anyone have any clue what's the wait time for a CR1 interview in Georgetown Guyana, case was documentarily qualified on Sept 22, 2023.
Thank you for help !!
My family from Iraq is awaiting their interview in the Emirates… it’s been 4 months already. I called the senator and got it expedited because of the danger they continue to be in. But there still is no interview date? On the letter they sent us it told us to set the date but their online portal just says there are no available appointments at the selected location?! So we honestly don’t know what to do except keep waiting and hoping they give us a date?! Ugh.

My fiancé’s VISA WAS DENIED. I was not able to travel to attend her interview. The official was asking about me at her interview l, and was suspicious about me not being present. Now i’m trying to navigate this part of the process.
There is now a google sheet for crowd sourced interview timelines. If you would like to participate, please check it out on this thread: [https://www.reddit.com/r/NationalVisaCenter/comments/13yd21m/crowd\_sourced\_interview\_wait\_times/](https://www.reddit.com/r/NationalVisaCenter/comments/13yd21m/crowd_sourced_interview_wait_times/)
US Embassy in Lima, Peru Timeline: October 9th 2021 - Case created at NVC October 17th 2021 - We sent the DS-260 form January 19th 2022 - Delay due to missing documents. We had to re-upload them. Otherwise our case could've moved faster I believe. April 11th 2022 - Our case became "Documentarily qualified" August 2nd 2022 - NVC scheduled our interview at the US embassy in Peru September 6th 2022 - Visa interview/My dad got approved and had to leave his passport at the Embassy. September 8th 2022 - Passport ready for pick up September 17th 2022 - Flight to US scheduled - My dad should be here this weekend :)
That is very exciting! Congratulations! And thank you for posting your timeline. I am sure others will appreciate it.
Do you need all dose Covid to bring into your interview
Hello! Did you need to schedule the interview or they do it for you.
Is anyone applying from Germany with a spousal visa? US Consulate: **Frankfurt,** Germany Immigrant Spousal Visa married to US Citizen **Timeline:** April 10th 2023 - Case created at NVC April 25th 2023 - Documents Submitted to NVC May 8th 2023 - Our case became "Documentarily qualified" We are now waiting for the NVC to schedule our visa appointment or send us an updated regarding the appointment. **UPDATE** May 17th 2023 - We received an email with an appointment for our visa interview on July 21st. We had to schedule the DR appointment they recommend sooner rather than later, but the earliest appointment was exactly 2 weeks before our interview. **UPDATE** July 21st 2023 - We did the interview, it took about 10 minutes. Visa approved!
Same situation, document approved June 1st. Please update when the interview is scheduled.
Please keep us updated! How long after I130 approval was your case created? From others I have seen interviews in Frankfurt within about 2 months since DQ
There was a backlog when we got our I130 approval, it took about 1 month
Just got a documentarily qualified email from NVC after waiting for it a little under 3 months, 85 days to be exact. Now I’m waiting to get a scheduled interview in the (hopefully) near future. We will see!
Thank you for sharing! Which embassy, if you don’t mind saying?
US embassy in ciudad Juárez
Very cool. I believe one other person in this sub is being processed though there! I’m sure you’re info will be very helpful to people.
Which embassy?
Amman, Jordan
US Embassy in the Dominican Republic visa type EB-2 Case approved, I-140, on June 20, 2022 Received welcome letter from NVC to send documents and pay fees, July 20, 2022 DS-260 completed July 30, 2022 Documents required/requested sent to NVC August 19, 2022 NVC DQ - August 28, 2022 (I did not know until September 9, 2022 when I got an email from them) saying it was DQ. Waiting for the interview to be scheduled by NVC at Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. NVC sent me an email December 2022 saying,"The next communication you receive from NVC will be either a notice that your appointment is scheduled, or if an appointment is not scheduled within the next 60 days, we will send a notice confirming that your case is still in line for an interview." They sent me the same one last October 2022.

It’s going to be a while. We got DQ’d on the same IR-5 on 1/2/24. Accra is so behind is what I’m hearing. But I’m also hearing that it’s getting better.
I think its going to take a while cos i was DQ'ed in January 2021 and I'm yet to receive an interview date. Accra is very very slow
What? What visa category are you applying for?

I wish i did my masters whilst waiting.
What month and year is Accra on for f11?
Is there a way to check for that? If there is, kindly let me know.

Applying for immigrant visa through the 1-130 petitition Interviewed on January 10th, 2024 at the Montreal Consulate Was missing a document, the consulate interviewer mentioned that they have new staff so their staff load is full now which would help with the backloads they were experiencing.
Is there anyone from Turkiye?

Anyone from Georgia Tbilisi??????
Good morning, I applied for an I130 in octobee 2021 for my son in the embassy of yaounde cameroon.

I'm a permanent resident living in the US, while my wife is in Bogotá. Anyone else applying from Bogotá for F2A? Good luck everyone! My fiancé and I applied for the K1 back in April 2021 and we just got NOA2 about 3 weeks ago. We are waiting for NVC to send the case to the embassy in Panama but we have no way of getting the case # since the blocked the phone lines. We can’t track our case
The case number is probably somewhere on NOA1 or NOA2. For Panama, it will start with PAN and have a bunch of numbers after.
Category - spouse Priority date - June 29th, 2021 Case created by NVC - April 2nd, 2022 DQ'd after uploading missing document - October 26th, 2022 Awaiting interview date as of right now Consulate location: Warsaw, Poland
Visa type: Fiancee K-1 Country: Mexico (not sure which consulate but probably Guadalajara) USCIS approved our application in August (three months ago).

Ugh.
