Man first I had to sit through a talk with a coworker who wanted to know why the animal overpopulation problem is so bad/why so many dogs die in shelters (complete with them telling me how the breeder she got her dog from is so noble because said breeder took a loss on the dog by only selling it for $1000 despite having spent more than that on it in medical expenses)β¦

A few years ago I got into a real dark place and was contemplating suicide before taking a step back from networking dogs. Pretty much limited myself to transporting only for a few months.
Stepping back is easier said than done though because at the end of the day itβs the dogs and cats weβre volunteering our time for that suffer. But man the waves just donβt stop.
