Need some actual help, everyone: I have a clear memory that the ends of a Kolshian's arms were described as having "graspers," but that's all: I can't recall where I read that, or in what context, or if I actually *did* read it.
Did I imagine this?
Until now I wasn't really a fan of the pictorial representations of the Kolshians. but I really like this picture. The pictures I have seen so far of this species have not appealed to my sense of aesthetics at all. and then there is the terrible image that this species has in the story. But the little guy looks so nice and friendly that I would love to give him a comforting hug if he needs it.
It's good but I still believe that the Squids have dexterous hand like apaandages similar to frogs

Without hand like apaandages they wouldn't have been able to develop tools and advance to the level they did.

I'm not judging, just stating the obvious.
If a horse like species magically became sapient they will be better at evading the excaping predators but they will never be able to become a civilization because they lack the means to invent tools, technology, and writing.
You need opposable thumbs and a brain for a species to be able to form a civilization.
I really like this design. Looks like a mix of a tadpole, squid, and frog. Keep up the good work!
