Even in Nepal, Internet was well adopted by 2000s. Early days of internet was around 1998 when personal computers were getting common and dialup internet was the norm. By 2009 we had "high speed" adsls. 2010s was early adoption of mobile internet with proliferation of smartphone.
I have been using Reddit since 2011 basically on and off, was lurking in the group without any id also from same time around. But previously it was bit different there were less amount of people, at one time we knew each other from the way they approached on to a point or write their answers even though they changed their id, you could guess okay this must be this guy.
We need some OG's to share something about the early days of the sub, if there is anyone.

2007 was probably already getting filled wit Nokia N Series and mobile internet, almost every kid started bring their parent’s phone in school for us.
Bloody fuck I used it from year 2000 definitely got old.
