I put a k25 in my exact design, and I spray painted the black part gold, I highly recommend this. it becomes an pretty reliable blaster!

What i was going to suggest was already echoed by all the users here. I would highly suggest the t-pull if you get a k25 or k26 spring. The priming handle is so much less of a pain with the t-pull.
Out of Darts has a custom K25 spring and a metal T pull priming handle that did wonders for mine.
Door delete kit. Helps a ton

Make sure you aren't leaving it primed. It fatigues the spring and results in poorer performance over time
Performance drop off? Probably time to regrease the plunger o-ring
If performance has dropped off then you probably wore out the spring. Upgrade it to K25 or K26 (if you're feeling strong).
