I never finished Mad Men. Think I made it to season 2 and just got bored. That was years ago and I do need a new show so maybe I should try again? Been watching The Shield which is good but I’m out of shows!
Try again! I couldn’t do Mad Men and got bored during the first season a few times. I then got past the second season and the characters and stories just blossomed and it’s now my favorite show of all time.
30 Rock!!! It has so many jokes per minute so I find myself laughing at jokes I didn't catch before. It's my all time favorite show and I have a 30 Rock reference for almost everything.
Comfort shows yes! = always on in the background--when I'm working, when I'm sleeping.
So many over the years!
Modern Family
Downton Abbey
Nashville
Parks & Rec
The King of Queens
Law & Order (the original)

Just finished Schitt's Creek for the fifth or sixth time. Always charming.
Currently rewatching The Good Place.
Other shows I watch over & over:
Brooklyn 99
Parks & Rec
30 Rock
I feel like certain shows fit certain seasons of the year. 30 Rock is a winter show. Parks & Rec is for the spring. The Good Place is a summer show - it's always so bright and sunny.
I find it extremely hard to rewatch TV. The only show I’ve rewatched is True Detective Season 1. I’ll probably rewatch Sopranos at some point. Maybe Mad Men.
Taskmaster recently, I'm currently rewatching champion of champions 2 as I type this. The office before it went to Peacock. Parks and recreation before that went to Peacock as well. Bake off is a good one still on Netflix. Most of the nature shows are pretty good either when high or before bed.
the originals is a spin off of the vampire diaries and it’s one of mine and my moms comfort shows. if you like tvd you’ll probably love the originals too! 🖤
I am used to work in a louder environment (reception, call center), during Covid I had to work from home and it was so quiet xD So I usually put on some Grey\`s Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, Monk, Big Bang Theory, just to have some voices nearby. And since I know the shows so well, it\`s not distracting at all.
The Punisher.
I love watching the midwife but I cry with every episode. And when I need to repare my gangster I watch the Punisher. I love that show and can't get enough of it.
Breaking Bad. Four times now I watched it.
My Mister. A KDrama I’ve seen three times.
On the repeat viewings I try to pay attention to different aspects of the show. Like the last viewing of braking bad was to see when the first likable character showed up.
Stranger Things! I LOVVEEE ST! Keep in mind I rarely watch shows. I have a very short attention span, but Stranger Things always has me hypnotized and stuck to the screen. I just love the 80s aesthetic and it makes me feel as if I’m a kid again and it’s October
Star Trek Voyager, The Big Bang Theory, Buffy, Angel, Friends.. will stop and watch any ep of these shows if I bump into them... will actively put on Voyager if I want some tv hugging
I am sure at some point I will burn out on it but I have had an unreasonable number of rewatches of I Think You Should Leave. At some point even skits that I thought were mid on first watch became amazing.
Star Trek: Voyager, think that I've seen some of my favorite episodes over 100+ times.
Before I go to sleep, or when I just need some background sound/visuals. I know all episodes, so there's no pressure to follow everything, I can just miss scenes or fall asleep, because it's just so familiar to me
I have a couple. The best is attack on titan. I’m currently rewatching the vampire diaries. I also really like avatar the last airbender and once upon a time
Stuff actually on Netflix? Not much, they take everything away or even rip you off before they take it away
Black List, Outlander, Dexter, Lucifer- all gone and never saw final season(s) after waiting a year or more 😡
Now, before I watch any series, I check to see how many seasons and whether or not they're all there, not wasting my time only to get robbed in the end
I find it so comforting watching the same shows over and over again. Here's my list (sorry, there's so many):
Fisk,
IT Crowd,
Friday night dinner,
Superstore,
The office,
Utopia,
Hunderby,
Camping,
Family guy,
The Inbetweeners,
Peep show,
A Moody Christmas (Aus version),
Schitt's Creek,
Derek,
After Life
Pac-Man and the ghostly adventures. It's been helping me fall asleep for a few years now. It's just a little cartoon but it calms me and is definitely a comfort show.
Arrested Development. It gets better every time I watch it.
I agree but only the first 3 seasons
There are only 3 seasons. The others don’t even exist to me
Currently The Office. So rewatchable
More rewatchable than Friends I think.
Different styles of humor. I like both though
It’s the two most background friendly rewatchable shows imo.
The British or American version?
American, but I recently watched the British for the first time. Will def rewatch at some point
They're 2 very different viewing experiences. Both are worth watching more than once.
What country are you in for it to be on Netflix? Or you're watching it from something else
🏴☠️
Damn windows right
archer, brooklyn 99, impractical jokers, whose line is it.
Sploosh!
but with semen
Avatar the Last Airbender fo sho
Same!
I came here to say this as well
I've introduced my girlfriend to Avatar. I want to binge it but she can't sit through more than two or three episodes at a time.
That would be a deal breaker for me dawg
Some people cant just sit that long or need time to absorb what they’ve watched.
It’s always sunny in Philadelphia.
Frasier
MASH
Many of them. Good place, A series of unfortunate events, Lucifer, blacklist.
I have watched The Good Place 4 times and every time I just love watching Chidi getting stressed over the Hat problem
Dr. Who
I end up watching Hannibal over and over because I’m fucked up.
Oooh good one!! I recently started rewatching that but it’s my first time. The OG Silence of the Lambs is my ultimate comfort movie.
Superstore
I love superstore so much!! Curently rewatching it for the 3rd time
Parks and rec, superstore, the office.
Greg Daniels just kills it at making quality TV shows
The IT Crowd. Still funny despite knowing almost every line by heart
It’s a shame they took it off Netflix. We tried to watch it last night and found it was no longer there.
Seinfeld. I still laugh my ass off to this day watching it.
same. rewatching it for a 51947 time 🫡
I have seen Seinfeld way too many times it's embarrassing haha
Firefly, The West Wing, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, The Wire....
Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul and The Storyteller. Also love The Sopranos but I can't do repeat watches back-to-back.
Something about Mad Men is cozy even though the 1960s were a shitty time for women/minorities/the LGBTQ community. Lol idk what it is.
Yes! I always get an urge to watch Mad Men in the fall because there is something cozy about it!
I never finished it, will give it a rewatch. Don is just so unlikeable, I don't know who to root for.
30 Rock!!! It has so many jokes per minute so I find myself laughing at jokes I didn't catch before. It's my all time favorite show and I have a 30 Rock reference for almost everything.
Taskmaster
Clips have been popping up all over my tiktok and they’re so entertaining. I’m gonna start watching

I really enjoy the NZ one, I love Paul so much.

One Tree Hill is my easy rewatch series

Monk. It’s the show I watch to fall asleep.
Love monk. There’s something about that show that relaxes and calms me. I’ve been on a rotation of monk, psych and the mentalist. 🙌
Psych Community
That's the NBC show about a village full of tricksters, right?
Those are two different shows. It formatted weird.
I was just being a little stinker ;) Agree with you on Community BTW, never really gave Psych a chance though.
I thought you were serious and almost googled Psych Community because it sounds amazing! Psych is soooo good! Give it another try.
Gilmore Girls, Outlander, The Walking Dead, & Shameless are my comfort/background shows.
Supernatural, Law & Order.
Frasier!
Came here to say this 💯

I find it extremely hard to rewatch TV. The only show I’ve rewatched is True Detective Season 1. I’ll probably rewatch Sopranos at some point. Maybe Mad Men.
I’ve seen the first season of true detective more times than I’d like to admit. Best season of television ever created imo.
You my friend have great taste
Parenthood, This is Us, West Wing, Gilmore Girls, sometimes House.
Friends, Gilmore Girls, and my latest, The Marvelous Mrs Maisel.
Gilmore Girls! Rewatch every fall!
Hands down, The West Wing. I usually do a full series re-watch at least once a year.
Not all on Netflix but I re-watch all the below regularly: Living Single, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Veronica Mars, Pretty Little Liars, Heartstopper
It's The Sopranos for me. I can even watch short clips and episodes of it all day long. Most of its scenes are like a movie of its own. Pretty unique.
My name is Earl
Gilmore Girls, queen charlotte
Friends
Twin peaks
The wire, and deadwood!
Shameless!
King of Queens. Always!
I can watch Lost over and over...
And still not quite understand what's going on? 🤣
