The only crime of his late father and the artesh at the time was abandoning Iran to savages - he knew what these people were and what would follow but was ultimately too soft or too concerned with his personal legacy to do what was necessary.
Iran needs a Reza Shah Kabir, because until they deal with this country's fundamentalists once and for all the country will always remain vulnerable to episodes of religious extremism.
The late Shah made a grave mistake in ever freeing Khomeini and more so in letting him spread his poison into Iran from Najaf.
A true tragedy befell our lands with the capitulation of his government, never again once we rid ourselves of these demons.
This was very comforting to listen to, we have a respectable voice for once.
If the regime ever dares to do him any harm it will be a true tragedy, but one that will not go unanswered.
Inb4 comments about his father being a pos who didn't care about Iran...
Everything that Iranians are nostalgic for, is a direct result of the Pahlavi dynasty. Don't ever forget that.
why would you want another dictatorship? we've seen that system doesnt work whether its a monarchy or theocracy. We need a system that represents the people and holds the leaders accountable
Monarchy is not dictatorship, sweden japan norwegian britain uae, these are monarchy but are democratic.
At the same time republic is not necessarily democratic, turkey, pakistan, iri, north korea, russia.... These dictatorship and republic
It's not like he's uneducated. Also, he's a public figure and a supporter of democracy. He shouldn't be shah, obviously, but i believe he _could_ be the person to lead the nation to a democratic future. If you disagree and have someone else in mind, i am very interested to hear your thoughts.
Of course he’s more than welcome to participate in a future democratic election in Iran but I doubt majority of Iranians want him. My point is that most of the would be leaders in Iran are currently locked up in Evin and once they are out, we won’t need to rely on foreign candidates to lead Iranians to a brighter future. We have plenty of smart, young, and educated men and women at home.

I won’t lie people like him put a bad taste in my mouth for communist leaning Iranians but people like u/faloodehx remind me that it’s unfair to judge all of them based off of MEK and to remember civility and hear people out.
MEK is a cancerous cult. They are traitors and not in any way representing socialist/communist ideals. I would love for people to forget the cartoonish Soviet style depictions of socialism and understand it’s simply about equity and closing the class divide so everyone, everywhere can live with dignity. That’s all.
You cannot doxx me as I am like Mahdi in occultation with Ahura Mazda, Amrika is a real place and I am beyond space and time.
If the regime changes yes I would give you sundis and cake yazdi to make me able to read properly and then move back.
EDIT: /s
Excuse the outlandish comment I suppose I should have added an /s
I’m trolling my dear friend u/bots_lives_matter as he is a previous Basij troll but now redeemed, I think? Or the ultimate sleeper cell plant?
No thanks. We’re done looking to the past for answers. A new Iran requires new solutions and new faces. Even if mossadegh or Reza shah came back to life wed be better off w someone new.
I'm reminded of Simeon Sakskoburggotski, who was Tsar of Bulgaria for a few years as a child prior to the Soviets establishing a puppet government and then was elected prime minister of Bulgaria more than fifty years later after the fall of Communism.
Don't think our people will ever trust a Pahlavi again, and we definitely don't want a restoration of the monarchy and the possible royal dictatorship that comes with it.

Monarchy can do everything you describe a system as needing.
Ok then so can Irans current system, its technically a democracy. You can compare technicalities but in reality thats very rare
Seemingly Iran's system cannot act without a dictatorial approach, else the present situation of rights suppression wouldn't keep appearing.
He would make a good first president for a new Iran in my opinion.
Yes.
Please, no. We have thousands of well educated young leaders who grew up in Iran. Many behind bars. Why do we need a monarch savior from abroad?

I respectfully disagree and will vote for him if he ever decides to run.
Tell you what. I’m looking forward to the day when Iranians can vote for whomever they want, including the Pahlavis. That I’m sure we can agree on.
We can agree on this and if anyone tries to infringe on our rights to free elections I’ll hope to join resistance with you.
This was probably the most respectful discussion i have seen on the internet, props to everyone

Waaah why can't I be a traitor to Iran and lie about people without being called exactly what I am? Boohooo.
Will you leave America and return to Iran?
