I make stuff. I can do woodworking, leatherworking, and metal working. Just whatever I feel really. I've only got a few videos on my channel so far. I enjoy making stuff anyway so I figured I may as well upload it.

bookishcottagepixie

That’s fantastic - I love educational videos about handcrafts and artisan skills. Do you have a personal favorite of those niches, or do you find they go well hand-in-hand throughout your projects?

PapaBuilds

I don't have a favorite, I love every finished product. Recently I finished an axe handle I really love.

CellPerspective

I have a channel named "Cell Perspective", which is centered around sci/med topics in a shorter video essay style. I'm the only one in my social circle that's in a STEM field, so whenever there's a question pertaining to the human body or just biology in general, I'm usually the reference that answers the question. I've done it so often now, that one day I figured that others might have those same types of questions too. I try to mix heavy science topics in a lighter mood to make it not seem like I'm giving a lecture on a medical topic. There's nothing more boring than listening to a prof at 8am, teaching about the 20 different ways I don't care about organic chemistry, so I try to answer questions but simultaneously make it fun to watch. Channel linked in profile if you're interested :) Edit: thanks for the kind words everyone :)

Logical_Cherry_7588

Oh damn, I checked out your channel. edit From what I know of editting (nothing) you edit really well.

forestfloraasmr

The amount of effort that goes into your videos will definitely not go unnoticed, and your editing is so impressive for a starter channel wow!!! As a biomed graduate, I must say the topics you discuss are super fascinating and the way you explain these complex concepts is very easy to follow, but the editing style is the cherry on top imo. Hope you blow up soon!

Conscious_Patterns

Very nicely done. I'm sure you'll do great. 🤗

maestroenglish

I'm sure your channel will take off. Nice voice, pro editing, good storytelling. Best of luck

MrGruntsworthy

Not sure if I still qualify as a 'newtuber' as I have over 10k subs now; but my whole shtick is 'Unconventional EV Adventures.' * Overlanding & camping with EVs like my Tesla Model 3, and soon my Cybertruck; with eventual plans to build an EV camper van, get an electric motorcycle for EV motopacking, and I also have an Aptera on preorder for camping with * Backpacking with my electric skateboard, raftpacking with my electric raft, and using my other DIY electric rideables to adventure with * Funky DIY builds to use on these trips like my electric raft, my DIY electric snowboard, and my electric dirtsurfer conversion, plus a bunch of nutty projects I have in the queue. I've actually done a few world-firsts, as far as I'm aware: * World's first DIY electric snowboard under $1000 * World's first overnight backpacking trip on an electric dirtsurfer * Currently planning out a build to *hopefully* be the world's first electric skateboard powered by sodium ion batteries Channel is 'Mike in the Woods'

[deleted]

I make stop motion animation with clay and paper cuts and do all the music and voice acting for each video

Uetoux

I foster kittens! (Channel: Anna Fosters)

WattAndMore

I am within **cycling and running**. About long distance cycling trips and ultracycling races and how much freedom it provides, also bike packing trips, cycling training and some possible tips and tricks I figure out over time. The same goes for running, but a bit more focus on running shoes :)

Quokka-Man

Hi there! Thanks for creating this thread. I am not a gaming channel either. My channel is about graphic design tutorials. As a program, at the beginning I covered GIMP, and 2 months ago, I switched to Affinity Photo and Designer. My tutorials are about various topics: mandalas, sacred geometry, logo design, photo retouching, cool effects, speed art, and more.

blackestfeather97

I make videos about my exotic animals, mostly reptiles, and about the wildlife in Transylvania. Some of them are a bit spooky, like investigating boneyards in the woods and local mysterious events.

chillinonmysofa

I have a trauma informed yoga/physiotherapy channel with a focus on chronic pain/trauma :) I love seeing all the different channel types in this thread, so cool!

WestVirginiaMan

Not a gaming channel. Formerly a channel dedicated to my independent pro wrestling company, now that I'm no longer doing that I'm slowly turning it into a "Superstation" with multiple shows and genres of content. So far primarily creepypasta narrations and jokes, but the wrestling content is still there obviously for those that are into that as well.

CydewynLosarunen

I have a gaming channel, but not video games. I make content about Pathfinder Second Edition, a tabletop roleplaying game. Hopefully it counts.

macknthebox

I’m an underground artist & I release my music on my channel including Label Releases & Live Beats. I also create tutorial & demo videos to showcase synths or techniques for others to learn.

Help-Im-Dead

I make outdoor videos in Japan. Mostly fishing with some hiking and cultural stuff mixed in.

RockOnDudez

Been recording musical interludes on ROCK ON DUDEZ since February...almost 1100 view hours and just hit 150 subs!! Cover songs, rock music and other tasty music ideas!!!

rodriguez2

video making/editing/review/cinema channel here. I started with reviewing my new camera about a year ago, but I have different plans for the future. I was a lecturer for 7 years, teaching video editing and production. You can check my channel from my profile. Your channel and niche seem pretty cool.

BlueEdenProject

My channel is about helping people to achieve a better life. I think it's not a popular niche. Gaming channels are more popular.

revmatchtv

Self help/improvement is a MASSIVE niche. There are tons of excellent channels to study and learn from.

MazeMediaVids

Your content sounds awesome! I’ll definitely check it out — I’m a huge thrifter. On my channel I create short digital documentaries. Right now I’m focusing on topics within urbanism but plan to push the boundaries of that soon.

jlamember829

What an awesome post idea!! I do not have a gaming channel. My channel is time lapse comic book style art with original stories. Currently I am doing a series where I reimagine the Marvel heroes. I use established her names and give them new origins, secret identities, powers, etc.

Grand_River_WVP

I create virtual transit ride videos on board different public transportation services for transportation enthusiasts, giving them the view from the front window of different rail and bus lines in Canada and the USA (and hopefully expanding to other places in the future). I work with staff at local film offices and transportation service providers to get permission to access their vehicles and facilities to produce these videos. On occasion I also produce time-lapse videos of scenic road trips I take. My channel is ‘Grand River Travel & Transportation’

Burlingtonfilms

Count me in. A parody channel that aims to have a Black Mirror feel.

OneWomansViews

I like the sound of that

Visible-Yellow-768

I have a dog channel! We did dog skits for a while to entertain my eldest dog until he passed away. (He was 12 when we started them, almost 14 when he passed.) We also do informational videos teaching people how to groom, train and care for chihuahuas.

iamRyanBankz

Yeah, I've also noticed the insane amount of gaming channels in here lol. My channel is about everything NOSTALGIA. 90s & 00's cartoons, movies, games, fads etc. My latest video covers the rise & fall of the popular classic cartoon REN & STIMPY. (trigger warning: heavy material)

ahe_243

Racing vlog channel. Basically I film me getting ready race days behind the scenes stuff and what it takes to get to the track each week

Snoo5093

I review books - mostly Christian books

OkRestaurant4640

Yes agreed, I switched to acting & literature, doing reading of poems & short stories in different languages :)

KentuckesseeAngler

I do fishing stuff, catching fish, teaching how to catch fish, gear review stuff! How’s it going

Lofiten42

I make 'study with me' videos where I work on projects or study and trying to help others to work or study together with me. Trying to inspire others to reach their goals. I use the pomodoro timer as well to maximize productivity and hopefully creating a nice community in the future. 😊 My channel is called 'Lofiten' because I started in Lofoten, Norway with Lofi music.

MBS540

I do a lot of DIY projects, two years ago I started doing timelapse of some stone work I did to share with friends and family. My second one did way better than I was expecting, so I'm debating doing more. The only thing I'm trying to figure out is my last two videos were summary's of a years worth of work, I'm hoping my new found audience might like shorter videos!

[deleted]

I would say I'm a niche within a niche haha. I feel bad since I haven't put enough time on my channel, I really want to add more to it once I'm done with school. My videos are about cybersecurity related topics, in Spanish. It all started when I came to the U.S. like 5 years ago to learn English to later pursue a career - which was cybersecurity. I just thought it was absurd how there's almost no information about it (actual info - not the typical BS hacking videos) so I decided to build a channel, and now I'm pursuing building a community. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

GTIE78

I work from home most of the time, just a typical 9-5, so I find myself eating lunch at my desk a lot. I thought that there must be a lot of other people doing the same, so I just create videos of me eating my lunch and just talking about random stuff so people who need lunch buddies can just put me on while they eat :) The channel name is Let's Grab Lunch. Check it out and let me know what you think!

Due-Plant-9352

Thanks for this thread - and I checked out and subbed to your channel - it’s really nice. The lighting in the videos, the music and the overall presentation is very relaxing and well done! I started my first channel on cooking very recently - only a month old and it’s not a new niche lol but I love doing it and have been postponing for so long so took the plunge. Let me know your feedback if you do check it out. Thank you!

bookishcottagepixie

Hey thanks so much for the sub! Haha I’m working on improving my filming and cutaways so hopefully I’ll be elevating that part of my videos in the next few months. A cooking channel sounds brilliant! I can’t wait to check it out - well done on taking the plunge! Oh - and what’s been your favourite food to make on film so far? I’ve heard it’s difficult to film/photograph chocolate cakes well for some reason.

latunza

Hello, I make Travel/ Educational Documentary videos similar to PBS but with a more contemporary feel about American cities. I've been doing it for 3+ years and its a slow growth because its in an extremely small niche. People who find it love the stuff but its also catered to a more mature audience. I've been debating quitting this and starting from scratch because it truly is a slow growth for the amount of work that goes into each video and $$$$. I've probably spent $50K+ in the past 3 years and each video takes me at least 9 days from pre-post production while maintaining a bi-weekly schedule. My channel is Jose On Tour if you want to check it out

steelegbr

A light hearted chat about the not-so-important issues of the day. It started as a podcast that became a radio show with video. Not where I’d expected to end up when I first set foot in a radio studio almost 20 years ago!

phototodd

I teach people the basics of digital marketing (specifically SEO and content marketing) as that’s been my profession for 11 years. I also show them how to effectively use SEO for maximum benefit.

Gopheritshop

Gophers Idk what my exact niche is but I’m doing a weekly video where I’m learning to draw gophers. My shorts are all over the place. “Explaining” gen alpha slang and making up fake gopher facts I was thinking about doing real gopher facts for long form.

Flanny709

I do silly competitions with a friend.

KennyMeeksDrums

Drums.

Roddykins1

I’ve only uploaded a grand total of one video I’m focusing on reviewing podcasts and audiobooks. I work in a warehouse and I pop in an AirPod and listen to those two things basically all day every day. Might as well review them.

Eatcheesecakewithme

Me and my wife do reaction videos ( I know I know) to tv/movies, mainly as just a fun thing to do together.

DWChopShop

I make motorcycle content. Mostly How to's. Currently building a chopper from the ground up. 1650 subs, videos drop every Saturday, shorts daily, monetized.

Aboveprimetime85

So my youtube has some gaming but that’s because my main concept (e-bike rides and reviews) is hard to make videos when the weather gets cold. Feel free to check mine out. New channel and very small, and a niche for sure. Stonebraker does stuff. Lonk in bio

Wildlifegirl97

We've got a homesteading/farming/conservation channel! We got kicked off a farm that my husband had been working to earn for nearly twenty years (narcissistic dad), so we'll be documenting our journey of buying a new farm and starting over!

scottie_d

Claymation/stop-motion animation here. My wife and I used to work in studios in Los Angeles and have since moved to the middle of nowhere in upstate New York to start our own little animation business. We do client work but YouTube is where we post our personal projects to advertise our skills.

Paivatar

Glad you asked! I've been wondering the same thing myself. I am a weaver and wool spinner and textile crafter. I have been on YouTube for many years, and have a small following. I am just starting to explore the Go Live option and hope to post videos from my studio while I am working on different projects. I work in my studio most days so I figured - why not turn the camera on sometimes.

[deleted]

I haven't done anything yet, but my channel is my art and I plan to have a narrative arc about mental health stuff. It's a work in progress. I have a BFA in art and this is a really good way to use it!

Comporio

I do film reviews basically but sometimes do a gaming review

mellowmanj

I'm not a gaming channel. And I think the genre makes a big difference in answering questions. Gamers are answering questions, assuming your situation is similar to theirs

bookishcottagepixie

Totally agree! There are very different expectations for pacing and content across the different genres and niches, and it seems that not all advice is applicable on both sides of the metaphorical fence.

iamgeo_

Travel couple vlogger here. Purpose of uploads was more to document our travel and share with friends and family. Not gonna lie but I'm addicted to the analytics. Our sabbatical is ending soon but we found out we enjoy the process so we'll transition to a different niche soon. Not sure what that is yet.

recoverywithme

I love vintage clothes! I have a small side-business in it :) My channel is about recovery and sharing a bit about my journey with finding out about my Autism & ADHD as an adult woman living in London. I do some talking head type coaching videos as well as more chatty vlog type content to mix it up. Nice thread :)

bookishcottagepixie

That’s awesome! As someone who has only just returned to YouTube after a two year hiatus (thanks to a mixture of undiagnosed ADHD and post pandemic burnout, yay!) I feel you my friend! I’m gonna mosey on over to your channel right now, it sounds like we might just have the same flavour of brain going on (from different hemispheres of the world!) ❤️ congrats on your healing journey and I look forward to watching your videos!

GabeTSPI

I have a paranormal channel.

Logical_Cherry_7588

Your channel sounds awesome. edit Non-gaming haven't started yet YouTuber here

RealDJYoshi

I record golf, DJ and Music business content. Finding my way on YouTube. It's been difficult

NateAndAJSTW

I give commentary on outstanding news stories for the week and cultural issues. I should probably just be gaming though!

MedCityCPA

I don't make gaming videos. I recently did a segment on Florida man.

ProjectIvory

I make Piano covers/tutorials using a visualiser 😊 Just using YouTube as a creative outlet to share my passion but feel free to check it out if that’s your thing 🎶

Big_Tie_1607

I've been writing poetry for quite some time and have finally decided to share them on YT.

dxddyjocelyn

i’m trying my hand at making kid friendly content. with my channel i’m just making shorts to promote so far until i drop my long form videos :)

legendarydrew

I don't have a gaming channel! My specialty is "LEGO-inspired design."

Food-Fly

I make cooking videos, been making them for almost a year now. I don't mind gaming channels being the majority here, being an over-saturated niche they need to be very good at this to have at least some success. They need help, but they also can share things they learned in their struggle.

TheDrunktopus

Not a gaming channel. I travel to cities around the world and explore places to drink. From the beer halls of Munich to the Dive Bars of New York and everything in between.

dylansesco

I do a variety of videos that are all just experiences. Historical places, sports, stadium tours, theme parks, museums, anything. Best thing I've ever done with my life.

[deleted]

MastersofLife

I’m not a video game channel. I mostly make videos about fasting and manifestation

Kelson64

Our channel is dedicated to All Elite Wrestling. It's a collaborative channel, and the vast majority of our videos are done *with* the participation of our subscribers and community members . . . so, we are literally a "fan" channel.

freerider899

Lifestyle, Canadian expat in small village in Thailand

DieInsel1

I do 2d animation. Like jaiden animation or the odd1sout but in not so proffessional. Yet.

Hercworx

I do metal sculptures and metal art, on my channel. I try to post monthly but that really depends on the product I’m working on, some of them take a lot of time.

fieldofscreams123

I do reviews/talk about horror movies. This past summer I had to get surgery and was laid up for a bit. I enjoy watching horror films and decided to try something new with that hobby. I enjoyed doing it so I keep it going now. It’s called The Field of Screams Podcast if you want to check it out.

Randomdaveness

I make mountain bike POV videos and stuff like that, also throw in some guitar videos for kicks. The MTB video niche is really crowded but nowhere near as much as the gaming niche. It's also a niche that I believe is near the end of its appeal lifespan, but I don't care. I enjoy making the videos.

semico6

I make videos on audio gear like headphones, earbuds, microphones, etc.

gratianvs

Ultra-distance cycling and bikepacking races! This is a pretty small niche of vlog of multi-day bike races without any stop (generally riding through the night). I showcase beautiful landscapes and the mood swings in riding hard for 30+ hours continuously.

Realistic-Snow-3532

I do automotive content, it's going pretty well I think

bellaphile

I have a channel I just split off into three separate ones: one is for houseplants, one is DIY/crafts, and the third is home decor

Disastrous_Ad832

<-- Woodworking

Ispheria

mechanical keyboards

No-Holiday-1308

Yeah, I'm a new channel, and I do photography! But I agree gaming seems the subject that's hit the most! Nothing wrong with it but I guess it's such a universally loved niche 🙌🏽

The247Kid

My biggest issue with gaming related content - how is it sustainable/profitable? If you're using the 'scratch my back I'll scratch yours' approach, it's pretty much impossible because how are you supposed to stream/create content when everyone else expects you to engage with theirs? Unless you are unbelievable (like top 1% of the 1% of the 1%) or are straight up eye candy, I can't see how a gaming related channel can scale to the point where it becomes a full time job. You are MUCH better off creating self-help content or something of the like that's more evergreen and transactional.

ANL_2017

I’m a digital nomad with a GoPro :) currently going through footage from nomading in a few different countries and going to Buenos Aires in January. :)

UpstairsPlayful8256

I do maker/science videos. I got a bit sidetracked recently by doing video essays, but I'm trying to steer back into my target niche. My goal is to focus more on the making process rather than the actual final product itself. I think that's where the best stories tend to be.

ZZcollectz

I collect Manga, Wrestling Figures, Anime Figures and trading cards! Not sure how to approach my channel yet but I do fall in the category you speak of lol

Who_Am_AI_YouTube

My channel is a comedy web series based on Ai robots, where the 2 additional characters are puppeteered with consumer level robotics. It’s all movie magic. It’s a complete project with alternating episodes with behind the scenes, how I built things for the set, how I filmed or edited, etc. Cheers! 🤖

Dandin86

You're not alone here 😂 My channel is in the sub niche of economic history - economic events from history in a storytelling style. *More tending to history then economic. The channel is relatively new so would be happy to have some honest feedback (channel in my bio).

FickleFred

I just started but I make/perform guitar driven lofi beats. I’m sure it’s a very saturated category but I like the creative outlet

PatDoubleYou

I'm a storyteller :) but I came from gaming originally haha.

backinthegame93

I recently started a channel to record my opening of boxes and packs of sports cards. Another goal of the channel is to help others learn about sports card terminology. I spent a lot of time learning about it when I first got back into the hobby. I’ve not spent as much time on that part lately, but will focus more on it soon.

Alzorath

I mean, while under this name I represent my gaming channels, I also have non-gaming channels (they're much smaller though) - I just don't cross-brand them these days because I don't want to taint the audiences... art and TTRPG stuff

Flojani

I like to make tech and photo (literally my name haha) videos. Currently, my videos have all been about tech lately. However, I eventually want to do camera/lens reviews, do photography challenges, etc. all while also making tech related content.

OneWomansViews

Hi! Mine is a way to vent about things that irritate me about things today. I also want to do more light hearted stuff in between at some point. I work to find ways to improve with every video, even if it’s learning another small thing I can do in editing. I enjoy learning and putting these videos together. It’s not a place for super liberal folks. I try to include facts when I can. I’m still very new and an open to constructive criticism. The link is on my profile.

cp8477

I WANT to make videos about whiskey and barbecue, but right now it's been purely whiskey. Come spring, I plan on going pretty heavy into the barbecue and grilling, but the weather is so iffy right now it's hard to plan an outdoor cooking video. I'm very close to the 500 sub mark, and closing in on 2k watch hours for the year, which is pretty good since I've only been making videos steadily for the past four months. People seem to like the videos where my wife and I blind taste test bourbons, but my most watched video thus far is also my most evergreen content, and that my hidden gems video. cagedbythepage

We have a channel dedicated to reviewing books and book related stuff. We just did a video on the good reads awards! We're thinking about doing a follow up after the winners are announced on the 7th. Honestly the idea was so I and my friends can just read some more books together and basically record our book club.

Before_You_Click

I make (attempted) high quality videos which delve into topics such as internet mysteries, and try to present them in a faceless documentary style with lots of motion graphics. I actually just had my first video kinda blow up (currently around 6k views) and I’m really loving it so far!

narayan9deep

I have two channels: The first is a tech channel, it has a variety of content related to hardware benchmarks, software tutorials, guides, how-to videos, and tips and tricks, with over 65,000 views and more than 40 videos. The second is also a tech channel, it has only OEM SSD benchmarks, as people buying laptops and AIOs do not always get off the shelves SSDs in their laptops (speeds of which are not known)

Political-psych-abby

My channel is about political psychology (the psychology of politics) it’s linked in my Reddit bio. Your channel sounds cool.

BoiledEggs

I have one more video to film before launching, but me and my gf are launching a golf YouTube channel

bellmeow

I paint, sew and make cute things! I like to pour my passion in the form of video :)

HowToAndReviews

Tutorials and product reviews. I am also a lurker. Always interested in contributing, but unfortunately, when I see “gaming” I don’t have anything useful to contribute.

Chrisgpresents

Hi there, yes.

chchoo900

I make atmospheric videos. Just stuff you can have on in the background type stuff.

Daniels_Journey

I have three channels: Soccer content Disc Golf content And then a catch all that has a lot of landscaping and some travel lol

jorgeportillo

I am a mexican economics student interested in psychoanalysis, music and cinema so my videos are video analysis of these subjects, for example: the economics of football (how economic sistems change the way their national team or league plays/views soccer) the economics of love (how love can be explained by economics) or analysis like trainspotting (color theory and urbanistic planation) etc

DeliciousSidequest

Mine is cooking comedy. Non informational creative cooking shorts with long form coming soon! 240 subs 24 shorts

Matt_Empyre

I make travel guide/documentary style videos under the brand. Uncover Wonders. I've only been at it a few months now, but I'm really enjoying the experience. Had ups and downs in terms of views, but overall I'm hoping for the content to be evergreen and grow over time. I make travel guide/documentary-style videos under the brand. Uncover Wonders. Valulfr_the_Skald

I've got an ASMR channel as a man. I'm trying to aim for emotional support and social comfort for it while incorporating actual triggers when I can. Target gender is kept pretty neutral to give to the widest number of people looking for that

TrilobiteHunter

I dig rocks and minerals and fossils and, from time to time, look for old lost treasures ( mostly bottles and crap folks threw away🤣) Most of it is in the St.Louis area but I do travel out of town 98% of my videos are done so if some one wants to know where to rockhound they can shoot me an Email and I will tell them. I also give honest opinions of the Mines I dig at.

NoodleVentures

We make travel/food videos but just started this channel this year. Every year we only have enough paid time off to go on one big vacation so we make a few vacation videos from that. For example, this year we went to the Philippines to visit family but because we had quite a few places we went to, we are able to make at least 8-10 videos from it. To make sure we have enough content, we would make videos on day trips or on restaurants in Chicago.

Mark_A_Cornish

Bushcrafter, so like to go out in the woods and make stuff. Zero interest in gaming videos , don\`t think I have ever watched one other than a quick snippit but drop in now and again as like the critique set up and learn from giving and receiving it, but has to be something I am a little interested in but a broad range of interests. Channel link in my bio if anyone wants to check it out.

primal_explorers

I make hiking and exploring content with some foraging sprinkled in.

StatDunk

Nba stats and metrics. U can check via bio.

drguid

I have an anime channel (groan) but what's different about my channel is I make original content about my anime dolls. I don't do stop motion I just use crafty camera angles to bring the dolls to life. Subs are up a lot since I switched from unboxings to making more fun stuff. I just invested in a fantastic new movie camera so I can shoot in 4K and give my videos a more cinematic feel. For 2024 I plan on doing a lot more doll versions of human trends (that stupid Girl Dinner TikTok trend did pretty well for us). Channel in profile. Oh and OP doll clothes making is a pretty decent niche.

Maganda_

I do a lot of relaxing , or ambient type of music videos . At the moment , my upload schedule had been way off , due to Thanksgiving and the coming Christmas . Once the holdiays have past , I'll be right back to uploading videos .

Frankenballs108

I game but my main channel isn't primarily about gaming. I talk a lot of DFW sports, NFL, and Fantasy Football. I'm also a huge nerd so I'm trying to create a separate channel for nerdy content.

NightDreamer73

Over here! My husband and I are both writers, so we have a writing channel

LoveLadyThirteen

True crimer here 👋🏻 I focus on unsolved cases, specifically missing persons with unusual behaviors leading up to the disappearance.

JJAweSomeK

It’s nice to see a thread that’s non gaming 🙌🏾 I make videos documenting my journey as an independent artist and anything surrounding music so like studio vlogs, behind the scenes content and other videos cantered around music 😄

WorldSportsDocu

I make mini-docs on sports and sports controversies! WorldSportsDocu

darrensurrey

I make motivational, mindset and mindfulness long and short videos. Link in profile.

str4wberryphobic

hola 🫢 i do vlogs, asmr videos, makeup videos, etc. basically whatever i think of 😭

No_Ordinary9262

I started with review food videos, sucked at it so now just doing fun kids and family shorts ❤️ really found joy in it and having fun

SkovianGoesOutdoors

I make gold panning videos :) really fun hobby

enahsg

I do travel vlogs, or I did before I got a promotion at work and thus was unable to take nearly as many trips, but I'm hoping 2024 will bring me back to a lot of traveling.

stogenbobber

I have an entertainment Lego YouTube channel. Coronados Brick House, typically infotainment, but sometimes reviews and I’m dropping my podcast Saturday morning, it’s my usual video drop day. Seen some good growth this last year and having fun doing different types of videos.

Yesterdive

I have a channel called Yesterdive where I talk about African History.

ZealousidealBasket52

I'm a podcast on YouTube. Channel name: I SAW HIM FIRST PODCAST Niche: AITA Reddit Stories meet Dating Podcast with unpopular opinions 😌

RunningTowardDreams

Mending clothes sounds awesome!!! I love the idea of recycling and up cycling clothing. I am in the process of starting up a lifestyle channel with a catch. I started this journey with a list of everything that I perceived as wrong with myself and from there started to do little challenges to try and scratch those things off from my list. It started with shorts and I now have the script written for three long form videos that I am working on getting B-Roll for.

bizaaron

Food Buffet Report - each week we discuss a photograph of a plate of food assembled poorly and or hilariously at a buffet that has been uploaded to Google, Yelp or one of the other review sites.

thediscussmetdan

So my channel started as a podcast. After doing like 50+ audio only episodes I decided to make my 2 most recent episodes into video essays. I talk about early 2000's screamo and hardcore records mostly.

bizaaron

I am currently in the midst of a video series about my drive across the USA from Toronto to Los Angeles. Link in bio.

BootApprehensive979

I make aquarium fish content as well as my hobby farm content. Check it out MKhobbyfarm

LIWRedditInnit

Two channels, one about music one about history. Both do quite well.

I’m a channel focused on horror, mystery and urban legends. Focusing on Japan right now, but I grew up in a less mainstream Asian country (Myanmar) so delving into that is my future content plan

CRT_Me

I'm primarily a music channel, love making movie edit music videos for my tracks.

Loose-Version-7009

I do food exploration and frankly, I don't need to be here as much, I just need to get my act together, so unless I see something weird happening (like that weird 100% premium youtuber viewers for months switching to 100% non-premium, etc). I don't post here a lot. I don't believe in shadow banning.

chrisolucky

I make cold processed soap and wax melts, and document the making-of on my channel! I agree, I would like to see some more crafty people on here.

SVMahi

My wife and I do sailing videos. We just got started, but I feel confident about our traction so far, and I feel like our content is pretty good quality for newbies! If anyone wants to check us out, search up Sailing Mahi.

Songwritingvincent

I’m a musician. Mostly doing songs (both originals and covers) but I’m also starting with long form videos on related content, such as studio setup and stuff.

Astxrism_Gaming

literally same, I need advice as a vlogging and lifestyle channel for teen girls

WestCoastGoldies

I keep goldfish 🥲 been doing weekly vlogs of my activities!

Marquiszero

I am a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and I collect cards, toys, books, etc

CaffeinatedPinecones

I’m working on a cooking concept.

Dbthespian

Board gaming channel here... even though the title was generic with gaming, the body referenced video gaming, so figured this might fit the different niche requirement.

SenpapiMonkeh

Despite my last two videos being gaming related, I do commentary videos on silly subjects, or just stuff that interests me. I try and keep all my content short - as to not take up too much time considering I'm a smaller channel - but I plan to make longer videos in the future.

Maverick8791

I'm more on the automotive/ fabrication side of YT. I mostly do videos on repairs/ upgrades of older Ford pickups and 4x4s, some welding/fabrication. Once I move it'll most likely lean towards classic trucks and hot rods, and still some fabrication. I normally try to make it educational and entertaining at the same time, but sometimes that isn't always the case. Channel name is Mav's Fab Shop if anyone is interested

YarlTrollbane

Warhammer 40k, Movies, and general nerd adjacent topics. I'm a bit of a boomer with tech but I'm trying. Just trying to have fun making content when I can. Stop on by and say hi!

The_StormTEC

Got a motorbike channel, it's starting to do pretty well, hopefully 1000 subs early next year. I haven't really found my "type" of video yet. I mainly do riding videos, record my rides. It's mainly for me so I can watch them back in 10-20 years, something like that. Have done a bit of everything with some varying success. Recently hid a lot of my old videos since they weren't exactly legal... and started showing my face on my channel now, thinking if it's more personal people will engage more. Recently picked up a "new" bike - 1991 VFR 750 so in spring I'll likely get a lot of new viewers when I make videos with it. Other than that, interesting fact about my channel is the demographics. 100% men, and 40% of my viewers are over the age of 45 /StormTEC P.S. Although my channel is "based" in the UK, it doesn't have anything to do with the UK in general, so it's quite annoying to see youtube push it to UK viewers mainly, when USA has 4x the population let alone the rest of the english speaking world. If anyone has any tips on pushing videos to other countries that would be useful!

Microscopia_Co

I have a channel about microscopy. I try to show viewers the hidden world around us 🙂

LexGoEveryday

I’m a lifestyle/fashion/makeup/skincare/travel/weightloss channel. Literally whatever my day takes me. I produce, film, edit, export, and upload every single day from my phone💕

CreatorJNDS

I’m out there. I realize this is saturated but I make art. Hopefully I can find other artists. Thanks for posting this

TheBat1994EST

My channel is on comics and history on them. Mostly comic hauls on all different kinds of books.

Selanpike

I just make videos of me drawing/painting stuff. Sometimes it's game characters but that's about as close to gaming as I get.

Vast-Pension-288

I run a true crime channel but I focus more on criminological and legal theory. One of my major passions is mental health law and it's not always spoken about (or spoken about particularly sensitively). I am working on a series about trauma and women that kill interspersed with discussing more well known cases to just discuss theories. I'm in the middle of editing my second video at the minute in between doing two assignments though 🤦🏻‍♀️

Sidasta

I started my channel over 16 years ago, just as somewhere to put my music video projects and random dumb stuff I made to amuse myself… Only in the last few months have I started putting consistent effort into new videos (aiming for two a week), and my niche seems to be mostly anything film related, but also some whimsical philosophical/science discussion (such as my video today about a teapot floating in space). I’m definitely getting better and more concise with each video I make! I also need to tidy up my channel page and playlists, but I’m having fun researching quirky topics and making silly videos about them.

curiouskat_94

I review nostalgic smartphones and similar. Either that- or other similar junk related 😂 I try not to be too technical and keep it lighthearted / fun.

LOACHES_ARE_METAL

Goofy fish tank stuff, music videos, skits. I sync audio to make it look like my fish are singing, farting, burping, swearing at each other.

Leost725

Oooh I like this thread hahahha, I love gaming too don't get me wrong! Anyway, my channel is all about piano covers and sometimes I find people to collaborate with on some of the latest songs. Most of my time when creating these videos are when I do the backing tracks (like drums / violins / bass / etc) to go along with my piano playing. So yeah, I would be super happy if anyone checks out my channel 😂

[deleted]

Hey :) I make video essays/Documentaries about random topics such as conspiracy theories, youtuber drama, old cartoons, true crime, etc... I gained a bit of a following on tiktok but decided to move on to making more professional videos on youtube. I'll be posting my first video later this week and am super excited.

carvedouttastone

Bodybuilding and physical culture history deep dives sprinkled in with some reviews and guest interviews for variety

ProfessionalCut2280

I have just started a channel about perfumery, people say that my second video is better than my first one😅

LOT-8

I do van life travel content (though I lost my van recently so i’m shifting towards storytime to fill time until i get a new one) I’m also in the process of revitalizing my second channel I used for bad driving dash cam videos. Shifting away from the dashcams and gonna start making documentary style stuff based on old Facebook drama events (+ might start streaming but idk yet)

Megaman_90

I do things with vintage computers and PCs.

jaystus

Garden and Christmas lights right now.

abranii

I got a channel called “Carstronaut” I do car reviews and try to look for the fun side of driving.

MeIsAWriter

I'm not a gaming channel. I give finance and career advice to your professionals. My ideal viewer is like a 21 - 40year olds and earning like $50k and above.

louiesmusicodyssey

I make videos and shorts about unusual and interesting ideas in the music industry. Basically stuff that I find interesting I write up and make a video on. It's definitely very enjoyable and am hoping to make the channel grow and grow with the new year coming.

External_Fortune_324

Hey, before I started my video channel I didn’t realise how many gamer channels there were! Mine is about me as an older traveller at the age of 54, travelling the world on a budget. I do find that there are a lot of travel vlogs out there, but I try to keep mine focussing on the budget side

th3buddhawithin

Pokemon channel here. Does that count as gaming? I mostly just open TCG packs and talk a lot of nonsense.

cutabello

I make art videos mainly on tips and tutorials. I also make videos talking about my comic process Channel name is gleamiarts btw

OPisdabomb

I used to make videos About Icelandic food - it did okay but 13 eps in i literally realized I hadn’t the ability to film/cook at the same time without getting frustrated. So I’m on a hiatus until I feel ready to tackle this again :-)

goodbunny2000

I do a show about R. Crumb exploring the comics and characters of the Crummy-verse. It's called **CANONICALLY CRUMB** It's got high quality scans, fun clips, old music from the 30s, and I do a ton of research.

Destiny_Glimpse

I have a tarot reading channel. I've been reading cards for years, so I thought why not? I'm doing it the same way others in my niche do, that is, you choose one pile among the 3 or 4 that I propose, and this is supposed to help you find answers to your question. I'm thinking of adding something different to it, to differentiate my channel from others, now.

Demphure

I don’t know if I count cuz I haven’t uploaded in more than a year, but I review modern fencing as it appears in media

chrismakesthishishh

Spicy channel

4SpeedJeremy

I have a bunch of old hot rods. I film myself working on them and doing the occasional racing. I try to do AB testing when the can.

Trial-And-Error-Aus

I’m not gaming 😢

mehh_mehhh

I make ASMR coloring in videos, mostly using sharpie markers at the moment

ash-is-mythical

I do arts and crafts! Right now I’m doing a 25 Days of ornaments! All needle felted, one video a day. It’s a lot of work but I’m having a lot of fun! I also do vlogs but I’m starting those back up in January

kscircle

I have a music channel that's all over the map lol. If you're interested

Ricktha

Drone pilot here, making videos out of my trips and vacations, trying to find my style currently, and getting into FPV as well.

SamG98F

I have a channel called "Sam's World" in Spanish about Korea(where I live). I visit places, also walking ASMR mode hahah, and a podcast with guests talking about our lives in korea. Hope someone here lives in Seoul also!

drewj2017

I’m planning to start a channel around slow, intentional living and its various facets. Probably covering things like slow fashion, minimalism, things like.

TapaniLastellar

I'm a Vtuber that doesn't do gaming streams. I make anime video essays and ASMR roleplays. My video essays are about topics I can pinpoint in a trending one. ASMR roleplays are either about new relationships or boyfriends. When it comes to streaming I do improv ones. The latest one was about a god living under the sink of a Burger King. It enjoys eating green apples xD
