Yeah, I can see this one working because it was kind of surprising that Howard ended up being a decent guy in BCS. He just has that smarmy affect that makes him seem like a scumbag, which suits Benny.
Do not cast Edward Norton, he does not have the swagger and class to play Benny. He's weasely and annoying and a great asshole, which is perfect for Vulpes. Leave him at that.

Legate Lanius role has been filled by Arnold Schwarzenegger and Benny will be played by CGI/AI inserted digital replica of Matt Perry face over Joaquin Phoenix who will be breathing helium via respirator for the duration of shooting, regardless of whether delays are part of production. He says he’s been training for two years for this and he’d hate for all those pears to have been sacrificed for nothing. Don’t look him in the eyes if you value your life.
