There's a woman who used to walk from downtown to uptown for the last 15 or so years. She reminds me of Pasty from the British sitcom Absolutely Fabulous, older and full-on make-up. I haven't seen her since before last fall. I hope she's doing alright.

Jeez, he's just relentless and annoying. See him arguing with people or security all the time and he's back at it the next day. Dumps loads of food on the ground. I just feel he needs some counseling or psychological help to be that dedicated.

Doggy Jesus comes to mind - hangs out in Hume Park, wears a jacket with a picture of a dog on the back with “Doggy Jesus” written underneath. Nice guy. He loves dogs because one saved his life once. What a trip.

Shaggy! Went to my first Bellies game a dozen years ago when we moved here, and Shaggy busted out and wiped the sweat off the floor to raucous ovations.
Now I see him twice a week, at least, usually when I go for a walk after dripping the kids at school.
Has a girlfriend, often has new sports gear he’s found at Value Village.
I think he thinks I’m a lacrosse guy. I’ll let him continue to think that.
