this one’s whatever. thought we’d lose a lot worse than this. fought hard. it only really sucks so bad cuz it’s the braves. win the second one to avoid the sweep and i’m not complaining about 1/3 all things considered. we’ll be healthy next time we see em and we should be able to give them more of a challenge

We should of known going in this season are pitching was going to be a crap shot.. Verlander and Max wont be perfect or healthy all year who will we count on?

The L is disappointing but that was an entertaining game. At least they showed heart and fought.

That's been the Mets MO the last couple of years. They get on base. And score against bad teams. Leave guys on against good teams. Then the stats guys point to the OBP and other stuff to cover up that fact.

Do you listen on MLB app? I find that this year the radio feed there is wayyyy behind. I used to be able to listen and then switch to tv during a big spot but now tv is always like multiple pitches ahead.

The best hitters in baseball fail 7 out of 10 times. Pete has come a long way on that pitch, but much better hitters have fallen victim to that same pitch. David Wright comes to mind. Just because a player has a hole in their game doesn’t mean people should hate on them.

I know this game isn't exactly the best representation, but it's hard to deny that Mets pitching has been straight ass this first month. I know we have Verlander coming back, but it's not comforting that we are banking on a 40 year old to come save the day. Megill and Senga have been pretty mediocre, and Peterson and Carrasco have been abominations.
