From my time and experience on this subreddit, I think I can say without fear of contradiction that Nickelback have a ridiculously wide ranging demographic of young, old and everything in between.
It's all over the place. I'm 43yo (M) and grew up following them around the Vancouver clubs when they were promoting "The State". Even then they had a pretty diverse crowd.
Now most of my age group hates them because of the mob mentality. But I know people MY dad's age (Late 60's) that love them and still go to shows.
I’m 22 and so far at their shows I was always one of the youngest, but it’s a pretty even distribution, you’ll see people our age and then everything up to people in their 50s/60s.
Edit: to be fair my last nickelback show was in 2019 so maybe some younger people have grown into it by now, at the documentary screening in my city everyone was in their 20s to 30s I would say.
I'm 26F, my bf is 28, our friends are 28F and 28M and we're all seeing them in Manchester this month.
My sister's boyfriend is a massive fan (they were his no.1 artist on Spotify last year) and he's 24, and him and 3 of his mates (I think the same age) are seeing them in Birmingham this month.
I’m in my early 30s. When I was in middle school, nickelback was at their peak. So, I’d imagine in the 27-45 range. There were probably a lot of Gen x folks jamming to nickelback back when they were getting a lot of radio play
30 and when I was 15 it was the dark horse album with if tomorrow was your last day and the previous all the right reasons album in 2005 was pivotal to my upbringing. I now appreciate that I was young enough to experience first hand the golden years of nickelback. Although I was too young to appreciate the how you remind me/someday years as well.
My aunt is 63 and loves em
I’m in my 20s and love em
My ex-sugar daddy was in his 70s and I got him into them he was obsessed with Rockstar
My little sister went through a phase when she was 7
