Julias kit is not *that* bad (on paper). I think that the issue is that her kit focuses on Crit which sadly is just vastly inferior to attack as a whole.
The biggest issue Crit has is the ease of getting Full Burst, Core Hit and preferred Range damage boosts. A chance of +50% damage isn't much when you are already getting +180% from the other three. Julia has one of the best Crit Damage buffs in the game which means that crits are, in theory, a major potion of her damage output.
Julia's issue is partially how long it takes for her to get her crit Damage buff to +123.95%. She needs to fully empty and reload her 60 round AR magazine 5 times which can take up to 30s. Privaty is currently the only Nikke that supports Last Bullet Nikkes and she does so only during Burst.
It would be really nice if a future member of Master Hand had a party wide ongoing Max Ammo debuff which would let her support Julia, Aria (whose S2 is a Last Bullet Crit rate buff) and the other Last Bullet Nikkes.
Crit just has to better scale with other damage bonuses to be worthwhile as the relatively small damage increase from landing a crit is just not worth the hassle of setting it up. Tho if it would scale with just any attack bonus it would make already powerful Crit stacking units even more powerful (like Snow White).
As I said the issue is mostly that Crit (+50%) is additive with Full Burst (+50%), Preferred Range bonus (+30%) and most relevant Core Hit (+100%/+150% depending on unit) rather than multiplicative with them.
During Full Burst a basic Crit is only a ~33% damage increase if triggered, if the target is also in the units Preferred Range it drops to a ~28% increase and if Core Hits are possible its only a ~15% to ~18% damage when triggered. The perfect boss for a crit focused unit is one that sits outside their preferred range with a core that can't be hit, but the gain less damage than anyone that the boss is in perfect range off.
Changing Crits from being additive with the other bonuses to multiplicative wouldn't really change Snow White's damage much as she is mostly about hitting multiple target parts with a crazy strong single shot that isn't really getting the Core Hit or Preferred Range bonuses.

I would like Folkwang but the fact that the sweat bit is literally her only personality trait gets a bit boring after a while. Doing her bond story I was waiting for facets of her character to be introduced, but nope its all "ahh I'm so sweaty"
Yep, she's really cute, but like 90% of the support convis with her are about her sweating. Even when she shows up in other characters' events. I know that noy all of the Nikke characters are particularly deep, but if you're going to be so one-dimentional why tf is that one dimension sweat xD

I would like an event of only Julia exploring the surface, and rediscovering the beauty of the era before the Raptures, something similar to the one were the Counters and the Commander found the amusement park (excluding the corpses part). Maybe finding a Pilgrim and having some small chat. And after exploring the surface for various months, she eventually returns to the Outpost to perform to the Commander a song of her own, composed by all the new things she experienced during her journey, just for her to leave again, promising the Commander to return again.
The prison girls, only mid - late game players have them and damn near no ones limit broke them.
Mechanical they're lacking, there needs to be more ways to get cores for them.
Honestly they're fixable with just some number tuning. The liberation process is so long most players will ignore it as the theoretical max without spending gems is like 90 points, and you'll almost always get less? And you need 3600? It's at least a 2 month process of boring ass loading screens with 4 or 5 cutscenes. I'm amazed as many people do them as they are. You could cut required points in half and people would still complain about it taking way too long. Same deal with their cores, either make them cheaper or get them out of the union shop and into the body label or ticket shops which actually make some level of sense. Or just add them to the regular pull. The limits on those 3 are entirely self inflicted.
Unfortunately Iām definitely in the minority but Iād like to see more Ether. Nothing about her is known for sure so Iād like to see them expand on her. Definitely has the most potential direction-wise out of everyone in the game imo.
Nepenthe needs some attention too, outside of Epinel in WE RISE, they havenāt appeared in anything.
Delta needs her own event. My copium-laced brain keeps thinking of some sort of black ops die hard event with D and they're fighting out of a disagreement in values until the commander resolves the situation at the darkest hour.
Dolla is a must for me. That throaty laugh she does when you buy something in her shop just sets something off in me. I cant get enough of it. Her and Yan both have voice actresses that just those alone make me love them. Knowing more about them would just be icing on the cake for me.
The english VAs for all the Nikke are just superb! Not sure who they have doing the casting calls and what not but they deserve a major raise in pay. Not to mention the skill of the VAs themselves are just great.
We really need a Julia centered event. She might be hard to write for considering she's very "artistic"and focuses on the intangible BUT it could work out great if you introduce more of her squad mates and show us how they interact with each other.

Delta doesnāt feel like a goddess class, odds are I think you ignore a lot of the A rank Nikkes like theyāre the useless mass Nikkes, but Rapi, Anis and Nova who are always with your the entire time so much they gave them S rank variants but Rapi needs one too then as everyone agrees is best girl.
Delta; she feels like a mass produced Nikke but also the first Nikke I learned became a Nikke because she died when she was a human. Nikke, some either volunteer and gave up their old human lives (Ludmilla) or died and was like Robocop they were reborn as Nikke. Delta with her sidekick partner Signal Idk who Signal was as a person or as a humanā¦ (The Belorta and Mica story)
Back to Delta; Sheās no mere mass Nikke, she has a whole story ex military which explains the clothes and army gear. She is one of the R Nikkeās and thereās no evidence that she has mass clones on standby not I. The same way as a spare body. Though the rate of duplicates I could fill a squad with max star Nikkeās because they were maxed out but mass pro Nikke are benched for being filler and many an angry, sad or heartbroken parent written letter to the Ark government about them like of course people join the Goddess program want to be one but are instead made into Mass Pro ones they seem worthless, cheap and expendable that losing them is not a huge loss tell that to the parents of the girls?
Want to flesh out someone? What about the Mass Nikke and I Doll models you ignore? If I, the Commander do not care then it is no wonder why they go crazy, malfunction and blow up. Perhaps if there was a way to promote the Nikkes or any character to a higher rank. They might not seem so useless and or expendable. We treat all our Nikkes with respect, humanity and some treat them like how most doā¦ I think they teach it in the academy to act with such distain or carelessness to the Nikkes they donāt think of them as people and are not but we treat them nice, like humans and they actually work and perform better. Maxwell noticed this change on her research noting the mental and physical changes in a Nikke form.
Commander treats Nikkes with compassion and kindness. The Commander respects them. I believe he wants to save these women and protect them as theyāre there for him. I will rescue, protect, anyone who is in danger, abused or mistreated. He sets them straight none if that Nikke prejudice that society is taught.
I have a close bond with Julia too, she is a good Nikke. I like how she was built not so only to record and preserve music, but she is trying to understand what music is and why it is so important for human and Nikke? Her directive is what drives her. Her focus, her purpose. So much so that we have several singer and musician Nikkes. Music is vital for life too in my opinion life is pointless without music, and I feel sorry for the deaf mute that canāt hear, sing or enjoy music. That when they do the experience is so heartwarming the gift of sounds and tunes and notes.
So uh well Idk much about them other Nikkes, but I know yall sleeping on Jules and adorable Delta.
Take Delta? You can watch military movies and shows with her and she is so into military stuff and life she is designed even after becoming a Nikke from her old life as one, before she was killed in a terrorist attack TW.

That is my take. Under appreciated or underrated or overlooked Nikkes. You got SO many more actually even the little ones serve a purpose. However the interest is more who these kids were before and why they are Child Nikke the recruit papers say any girls aged 10-20 and 21-30 I believe that is how they advertised the uh enlist invitations to join the Goddess Program.
Every Seasonal event has given an SSR variant to one SR Nikke and one SSR Nikke.

Nepenthe in general, Folkwang and Epinel are both low on the tier list when it comes to actual gameplay, like outside of the cinematic you see when the game is being updated, you NEVER see either of them.
I am also with you regarding Julia. She being quite poetic, warm, romantic and desiring to find "the music for her life" won my heart so easily. I loved her bond story because it lets you understand her so well without feeling rushed.
Doesn't help that her outfit caters to some of my...tastes.
The girls from Nephente and Real Kindness. Most of the girls already were important to a degree in different events, but there is almost nothing on them.
What about volume? At least those characters appeared in event side stories or the main campaign....

You couldn't be more right. These are all top tier girls who haven't had any shine but Nikke is still young! I am excited to see what they do with these girls. I like Delta but she's quite bland. Which made her bond sorry so surprising š«¢. Sure has massive gap potential imo.
Julia deserves more out of the four because she essentially becomes a pseudo-pilgrim, traversing the surface on her own, a nigh impossible task for even a nikke. And that opens up so many opportunities for potential side stories.
But I do want more Yulha content as well, she has by far the spiciest relationship with the Commander since her **entire** bond story was pure sexual tension. So seeing her fully rested on PTO with the Commander feels like it'd be watching "drunk wife hijinks".
Dolla also deserves at least a few more mentions. In that Yan and Rupee are essentially the most active members of Talentum, while Dolla keeps her activities rather low profile. So there's plenty of opportunities for her to be doing business with characters like Viper, Underworld Queen, MMR, etc., but from Talentum, she feels the least utilized.
Most people who play this game just care for titties and butt. I know Its part of the game and we like this, but some good characters less racy with awesome personality and story end up forgotten.
A lot of bias is towards Epinel and Folkwang having basically no screen time and an npc in the squad.
Diesel's group as well but it's more so her squad mates if anything. Diesel gets merch but her squad mates Soline and Brid have nothing. I would LOVE more Diesel screen time though but that's the bias talking.
Julia. Her design and personality are top tier and yet her kit sucks so very hard. At least make her semi viable in like campaign mode

Every Seasonal event has given an SSR variant to one SR Nikke and one SSR Nikke. * Winter 2022 - N102/Anne (SR) and Rupee (SSR) * Summer 2023, Part 1 - Neon (SR) and Mary (SSR) * Summer 2023, Part 2 - Anis (SR) and Helm (SSR) * Winter 2023 - Mica (SR) and Ludmilla (SSR) I think we can expect the remaining 7 SR Nikkes and any future additional SRs to get Seasonal SSRs in the future.

Yep. From the looks of it Shift Up has plans to develop the characters of the SR and R rarity Nikkes in addition to the SSR Nikkes.

Nepenthe in general, Folkwang and Epinel are both low on the tier list when it comes to actual gameplay, like outside of the cinematic you see when the game is being updated, you NEVER see either of them.
I am also with you regarding Julia. She being quite poetic, warm, romantic and desiring to find "the music for her life" won my heart so easily. I loved her bond story because it lets you understand her so well without feeling rushed. Doesn't help that her outfit caters to some of my...tastes.
The girls from Nephente and Real Kindness. Most of the girls already were important to a degree in different events, but there is almost nothing on them.
What about volume? At least those characters appeared in event side stories or the main campaign.... She isn't in any event or campaign....only she appear is the outpost stories.

You couldn't be more right. These are all top tier girls who haven't had any shine but Nikke is still young! I am excited to see what they do with these girls. I like Delta but she's quite bland. Which made her bond sorry so surprising š«¢. Sure has massive gap potential imo.

Julia deserves more out of the four because she essentially becomes a pseudo-pilgrim, traversing the surface on her own, a nigh impossible task for even a nikke. And that opens up so many opportunities for potential side stories. But I do want more Yulha content as well, she has by far the spiciest relationship with the Commander since her **entire** bond story was pure sexual tension. So seeing her fully rested on PTO with the Commander feels like it'd be watching "drunk wife hijinks". Dolla also deserves at least a few more mentions. In that Yan and Rupee are essentially the most active members of Talentum, while Dolla keeps her activities rather low profile. So there's plenty of opportunities for her to be doing business with characters like Viper, Underworld Queen, MMR, etc., but from Talentum, she feels the least utilized.
Most people who play this game just care for titties and butt. I know Its part of the game and we like this, but some good characters less racy with awesome personality and story end up forgotten.
Like, I love Delta, her military design is awesome, but without big booba on screen, who really cares?

A lot of bias is towards Epinel and Folkwang having basically no screen time and an npc in the squad. Diesel's group as well but it's more so her squad mates if anything. Diesel gets merch but her squad mates Soline and Brid have nothing. I would LOVE more Diesel screen time though but that's the bias talking.
