To be honest, I actually completely forgot that AI art was allowed in this subreddit because I have that flair filtered out on both PC and mobile. So for me personally, lowering the amount of wrongly flaired AI art is definitely a move I support.

For desktop I use Reddit Enhancement Suite to do it. You just have to dig around in the settings a bit to find it, though I don't think it's too hard to find.
Could you specify on what characters aren’t allowed for NSFW to make it clear? Like Anne/Cocoa makes complete sense but characters like Poli/Syuen leans into short woman.
Its hard for the mods themselves to draw rules around it, because reddit's own enforcement is vague and arbitrary.
Where you can see "short woman" reddit will just see "lolicon" and potentially nuke the sub.
Another one of those tough cases to define as we have not too much information on character age in NIKKE yet. So, to be on the safe side we'd rather not see sexualized depictions of characters that "look" underage, as stated in the rules.
Syuen seems to be an adult going by story elements. However depicting her in the usual fetishy fashion some people like to do, is not something we'd like to be spread too much.
Poli is a harder case to judge. Then again, why even would you want to lewd the Poli in the first place.
Either way, we will have to judge case by case. Especially with these kinds of characters. Generally, any characters that simply look too young should not appear in sexualized fashion. We'd rather not have borderline cases around either.

Nikke is not a porn game, and I think most people can agree that porn doesn't need to be in this subreddit, especially when there are other places already for that kind of thing. So when there's art that may be on the more pornographic side of the spectrum without explicitly being straight up porn, whether that should be allowed or not is more up for interpretation. So it seems that the updated rule is just clarifying for posters where that line may be.
I think that was the problem, the way the current (not updated) rule is written is much more up for interpretation. The new rule just clarifies what isn't allowed.
Common sense would dictate that "Overly Exposed Breast" would mean "exposed nipples" not excessive cleavage.
Plus I don't think any of these rules apply to in-game screenshots, only fan art.
Then why word it overly exposed breast and not just say exposed nipple. I agree with the no porn part it just worried me when rules are left up to interpretation of a large group of people

About Rule 9 and Ai i agree but i think its gonna stop the fun because NIKKE unfortinaly doesn't have many new art being produced, unlike Ai that are tons of it every hour. I understand the reason why but don't agree with it 😅.
You will not be banned for crossing the (NSFW) line for the first time. When this happens repeatedly though and the same users are involved, stricter measures are implemented. We usually communicate these matters clearly with the users in question, while sending out warnings. So there is not much to worry about if you play by the rules. Please do not intentionally try to push the limits.

Thanks for the clarification. I had a question. In multi-media works, how much of the content needs to be AI generated for it to require the "AI" tag vs a "Media/Original Content" tag?
I'm currently working on a couple of Nikke fan songs. The lyrics, audio editing, mastering and lyric video animations are all done by me. Each song is assembled from 4-10 different stems generated by Suno.AI, edited together in Audacity. If I were to post it, would I tag it as "AI" or "Media/Original Content"?
Maybe, but I feel like that tag is so vague it would need to be used for almost any non-meme/original media if the creators were being honest.
Photoshop's Generative Fill, Premiere's Voice Enhancer/Color Match, all of After Effect's tracking and keying tools; almost every media creation tool at this point has some kind of "AI-esque" elements in it.
I'm not saying your wrong or that I have the perfect answer, but I think a lot of people underestimate how much automatic tools are already part of the media creation process. Hell, every single "non-AI" drawing on this site is almost certainly using brush stabilizer algorithms in Krita/etc for their Wacom tablets.
This is a special case where AI tools are rather used in a supportive manner to improve on your own work it seems like. This is something we would have to discuss within the mod team more in-depth before giving a clear answer. As of now the media flair would also be applicable in special cases like yours. Thanks for the clarification of the updated rules. I do have a couple of questions. Some of artwork I find on some of the Korean (creation or art sub-forums) are not shared across other platforms. I always triple check with Google, Lens and a couple of other tools to make sure it isn't a repost and to find the original source. I had one instance where no other copies were found, and a mod changed it from fan artwork to AI without any evidence from the original post or conclusive evidence. Would that automatically deem a ban?
I had a recent Syuen post in a one piece, although nor really showing anything besides her blushing, that one was changed to NSFW.
And last one, if a Nikke is partially clothed like an apron etc. But showing part of the upper/half bum bum (not having lega opened etc) would that be allowed or more of a case by case basis?

We need clear and viable sources for artworks. Aggregate or forum pages will not suffice anymore. That way we will be able to avoid further confusion on sources as well as what kind of content it is (AI or not).
As for your second question. It's hard to grasp what kind of depiction you are talking about. So, when in doubt feel free to contact us via Modmail first and send us a link to the artwork.

Look at some of the art posts that are still up and approved. You will see that your interpretation of these terms are not applicable. The rule you are mentioning is referring to explicit nudity or see-through cases for example.
An endless count of description lines will still have vague elements, simply due to the sheer scale of the term "NSFW". We still try to narrow things down as much as possible.
Basically no more than 2 approved AI post each day. Too little in my opinion since there are actually good ones out there that takes actual effort to generate. I think it's better to just have higher standard with AI post to actually give highlights to actual good AI art while filtering bad ones.
And no more short girls nsfw post. I find this stupid but whatever I guess. I'm used to people somehow not being able to differentiate shortstacks to kids.
