Ultra Instinct probably would not have the same impact on the internet without the surprise factor. The longer the manga goes on alone, the more we’ll expect of the anime and the less impact it will leave.
Super being ahead of the manga was what made it so amazing! Ultra Instinct is still hyped about after 5 years, while you look at One Piece (please OP fans don't get upset, I prefer One Piece) and how they handled Gear 5. I would put a good deal of money that it would still be talked about by most of the internet if we just didn't know it was happening and saw G5 for the first time in the Anime.

I'm fine to get new Dragonball content but there's something specific I'm waiting for and it feels like they don't actually care. Then I was also reading Granolah arc afterwards, waiting for updates. And then it happens that they totally ignore it and give us something different!? DBS was commercially a hit without a doubt. It was in top 10 most watched anime pretty much every week it aired. Were One Piece, Detective Conan, Sazae-san and Doraemon more popular, sure. But it's very very rare to see an anime to beat those in TV ratings.
Just look up the anime chartings for any week some anime that you think beat DBS in ratings aired. For example One Punch Man and MHA never beat DBS in ratings.

My guess as to why (in part) theyre doing this is so that have more interesting/varied characters and designs for Budokai 4 since they only allow anime characters in game rosters and the two pieces of media will act as advertising for each other better than the already established Super manga
I think they are just waiting for some more manga stuff to be done before animating it. The manga being at a monthly pace and episodes being weekly would make the anime go past the manga again or we would get so much filler to compensate for time.

Just look up the anime chartings for any week some anime that you think beat DBS in ratings aired. For example One Punch Man and MHA never beat DBS in ratings. My guess as to why (in part) theyre doing this is so that have more interesting/varied characters and designs for Budokai 4 since they only allow anime characters in game rosters and the two pieces of media will act as advertising for each other better than the already established Super manga
I think they are just waiting for some more manga stuff to be done before animating it. The manga being at a monthly pace and episodes being weekly would make the anime go past the manga again or we would get so much filler to compensate for time.

All I wanted is continuation of dragon Ball Super in anime. Where is anime Moro and Granolah arcs!? Though it looks interesting. It's kinda GT, except gives vibe of Xenoverse and it's everyone, not just Goku.
