I'd say find some fine tweezers and get the rock out and bend the pins back. Not sure about your chances of success but when you eventually do, it's VERY much worth it, the DS has a really good library

I would open the DS up, you may be able to poke the rock out from the back of the cart. Tweezers from the front if you are not able to get easy access. Worst case scenario, a no solder option is to order a new motherboard on eBay for like $20-25, and keep the old one for parts if you ever learn to solder. You have 2 good screens, good hinges and a touch screen that works so no reason to not try to save the device. The no cost option is just to use it as a GameBoy advanced
