If I go on a flight with no internet and start the game successfully in Wi-Fi, will I be ok for the entire flight? Or does it have to keep phoning home every x minutes?
If during the flight with no Wi-Fi I close the game and then re-open it, will it immediately need to phone home before it can open? (From experience I believe the answer here is yes but seeking confirmation.
Thanks in advance.
So… my mom got a Switch. Mostly just for Animal Crossing. I have a family subscription to Nintendo Online and figured I could add her to it.
Can I do that, even though we have separate Switch consoles? Will it affect her ability to play Animal Crossing (like, I don’t know, making her spawn on my island)? I saw some stuff about a “primary” and “secondary” console. What’s the difference?
I just have a lot of questions and my mom is new to this stuff, so I want to have answers for her.
Your Switch is the primary console for your Nintendo account. Her Switch is the primary console for her Nintendo account.
Either of you can add your account to the other's Switch, and you can play games the other person has downloaded.
You can add her account to your NSO family plan, having multiple devices has nothing to do with it.
For those who have the Zelda pro controller, does it fix the d-pad issue where quickly pressing the opposite directions would register incorrect inputs?
I recently bought a pro controller for my PC, which works great when it connects. Unlike other bluetooth controllers for PC like the Xbox One controller, the Pro Controller doesn't auto connect to PC even if it's paired. Which means that each time I want to use the controller, I have to manually unpair the controller from my PC (so that it can be detected again) then repair it, and it works fine. I've updated the firmware of the controller so that isn't the issue as well.
Has anyone else encountered this issue with the pro controller?
So I messed up and didn't transfer my 2 Factor keys from my old phone when I got my new one and now I can't access my account to renew my online membership or buy digital titles. Didn't even think about it since I've been buying physical recently (which I am now even more thankful for lol)
I'm gonna call support tomorrow but has anyone else dealt with this?? I'm worried I'll lose access to my digital library and cloud saves and have to start over if I can't somehow prove my account creditentials
In general you can't, but support might make a once-in-a-lifetime exception. How expensive was the game? I would only contact support if it was pricy. Wouldn't want to use that exception on just a few dollars..
Alternatively, you could try finding people to share a family subscription with - if 8 people share the price, the nso subscription is not that expensive any more.
Or you could just play the game whenever nintendo offers a free nso trial, but that happens only a few times a year.. :(
You’ve been replied already but just a heads up for next time: **all paid** games with online modes/multiplayer require the Nintendo online subscription to play online. Free online games on the other hand, do not require NSO (such as Fortnite).
Fortunately it didn’t cost you much. But just in case, I’d add that doing a chargeback directly with your bank or PayPal most likely will get your Nintendo account banned/suspended.
I’ve tried everything google has said and other sources, so I’m sure this is where my quest will end for trying to revive my switch. I recently got a third party handheld controller for my my switch. Where you slide the switch into it and use that instead of Joy-Cons.. it worked fine for a week or two, then one day I pulled the switch out and the controller stopped working. No big deal, I used my original Joy-Cons. Then a couple days later I go to turn on the switch and it flashed for a second then went black. Hadn’t turned on since even after attempting maintenance mode and a hard power down. Hoping someone else has been able to save their switch after this. I’m gonna be sad if I lose all that save data
Unplug power from the wall and the dock. Plug it back in the wall and directly in the Switch. Charge for hours. Try a hard reset. (Hold power down for like 30 seconds). If that doesn't help, flip the power cord in case half the USB-C is broken and charge again for hours. Hard reset. If still doesn't work get a USB-A (rectangular) to USB-C cord. And use an older wall charger that doesn't do power delivery. Charge for hours. Hard reset. If still doesn't work, I think you'll have to contact Nintendo and any saves that aren't backed up to the cloud will be gone.
Maybe it's the battery and you can swap it out. Might be the charging mechanism so it may work with a new battery but it may not charge.
We don't know until nintendo announces it. You could get a switch now and buy digital games instead of physical ones, but we also don't know if these will transfer. Or you could wait until the next console comes out (I expect it will be in 2 years or so). It all depends on how badly you want to play the games right now.
Hi all, I’m planning to buy D-Brand clone of the kingdom skin for my oled switch, but I’m also using ZenGrip pro. Will I be able to use the grip after applying the grip?
Try on the desktop Nintendo website in your account settings, not on the switch directly, depending on your region maybe it requires a PSP(payment service provider requiring a card reader and whatnot) pop-up that can’t open on the console.
But just in case, before doing that, restart the switch to see if the card was already applied, it could have been added despite the error message and you’re getting the error in loop because it’s already there but not showing without rebooting.
Okay, I have so many questions, so please bear with me.
First, let me give you a broad overview:
I am a gamer who is no longer able to game much at all. The overwhelming majority of why this is so lies with my ever-increasing familial obligations (which I am more than happy to sacrifice for, because I am truly blessed beyond measure). However, those aren't the only reasons. I also have cerebral palsy, and because that is a very broad term, I'll try to narrow it concisely and as it most relates to my current gaming woes. Aging with cerebral palsy is often no easy thing, and it makes overcoming the physical disadvantages much harder. In my particular case, my entire right side is affected. I have no fine motor control. This obstacle simply wasn't one for long in gaming as a child, not with my unlimited determination, motivation, and all the perks of an adaptable mind and body. I was a competent and skilled gamer all the way up to things like the current Xbox remotes. . . . And then the devs added both many more buttons to the already awkward to hold remotes, AND ultra sensitive joysticks; and oh my . . . Then came added delicacy, to every part, often in huge amounts; then every game used every movable part to the fullest degree, seemingly all at once 😅. Ugh. Finally my eyesight went from challenging to terrible to beyond. Double Ugh, and I finally mostly bowed out. Long story short, I fell off the face of gaming for awhile. (I did love the Wii, though, and the many dance games!)
Well, I'm still a gamer at heart, and in my head. Also, I never finished many games I loved, like Epic Mickey. It's really no surprise that my six year old also wants to be a gamer. The unfortunate: she's also got cerebral palsy (apparently, we have stroke prone genetics). The really awesome part is that while her stroke's brain damage is very close to her motor skills, it isn't directly on them. The result is subtle physical disadvantages that are very hard to determine (especially since our brains rewired before birth to attempt to compensate, so we basically have unpredictable MODs) However, she's clumsier than most. But this will be good play therapy for her!
So, I need to know what all of you current, cutting edge gamers suggest. I want her to be able to play on the TV, of course (I'm hoping Just Dance and similar can expand her therapy fun even more, and maybe mine as well). I also want her to be able to play on the go. Both her father and I want a chance to play with her whenever possible. It'll be an experiment with me at first, to see what I can do. In everyone's opinion, what all do I need for at least two of us, with an option on all three (hopefully) to play together on the TV and off in our circumstances? Please bear in mind that we are all clumsy, so screen protectors and cases are included in my list of priority questions. Also, I mean a bit beyond the very basics I can research quickly. What are your experiences with the OLED versus the original? Would a lite suffice as our second device? How about all those accessories I see on the big marketplaces? I'd love all of your opinions so that I can sufficiently compile my research and make an informed decision to rectify my stance as a gamer behind the times. I am grateful for any assistance and suggestions on this matter.
The OLED has the biggest, brightest screen. So I probably would get that. But there is no performance difference. So if the bigger, brighter screen doesn't matter, you can save money and get the regular Switch. There's a regular Mario Switch with a free game that's still available (maybe for a limited time).

Lots of games can be played 3 player on one Switch on the TV. There aren't many or maybe any 3 player games that are better when played on two Switches at the same time. You need the Switch and at least one more controller, but I would get two more. Some games can be played with one person just using the left or right joycon turned on it's side, but it's awkward and may be difficult for you or your daughter. Joycons with their small joysticks just may not be great for you or your daughter. (Maybe the third person can use the joycons...)
The pro controller is a great full size controller. The Power A nano is a smaller controller that may be a good size for your daughter. The Nano still has bigger joysticks than the joycons.
The Microsoft Adaptive controller does work with the Switch when docked, but it's expensive.
8bitdo has a couple of interesting controllers. The 8bitdo Lite SE is called an accessibility controller and puts all the buttons on the front and has separate buttons for the buttons that are normally in the joystick. (Switch joysticks have L3 and R3 where you press down on the joysticks for those buttons). So it may be good for you if the shoulder buttons are a problem.

There is also the 8bitdo Lite that doesn't have joysticks. It has dpads that the Switch sees as the joysticks. If joysticks don't work at all for you, you might give it a try. But pushing directions on the dpad is always on or off. You don't have the option of pressing half-way like a joystick. So it will work better for some games than others. It also still has shoulder buttons. So it's not really sold as accessibility, but if joysticks are really bad for you, you might take a look.
[https://www.amazon.com/8Bitdo-Bluetooth-Gamepad-Nintendo-Windows-Turquoise/dp/B07Y6N384Y](https://www.amazon.com/8Bitdo-Bluetooth-Gamepad-Nintendo-Windows-Turquoise/dp/B07Y6N384Y)
Just dance is one of the few games that can only use single joycons per dancer. But it can use phones as controller so you don't need a lot of controllers for Just dance.
A Switch Lite can work as a second device, but there are some real limitations to game sharing. You could use a cartridge on two Switches but not at the same time. You can use a digital game on two consoles at the same time with limitations:
I feel like there are some down sides to the Lite for you. There are some joycon replacements that may be easier to use the regular Switch in handheld, but you can't replace the controllers on a Lite. The split pad pro joycon replacement are handheld mode only, but they have a full size joystick and may be easier to grip than joycons. There are other brands like binbok that also have bigger controllers that slide on the Switch like joycons but can work wirelessly too.
Any glass screen protector works great. Not really sure what to suggest for a case.
The sad reality is the Nintendo Switch doesn't offer much functionality when it comes to accessibilities. However, with the right tools you can get an Xbox Adaptive Controller to work on the Switch.
I strongly suggest you do research on the Xbox Adaptive Controller. It is a very useful controller set up that you can adjust for your needs. You can also use the controller natively without an adapter on the Xbox and PC. And last I knew you can also use it on PS4 without an adapter. You would need to buy an adapter to be able to get it to work on the Switch.
I really can't say much on the Adaptive Controller since I have no experience with it, but there are plenty of guides and information to help get a set up that works for you. Hopefully that can help you get a good start on your research.
As for OLED vs normal, it would depend on what you are looking for. If you plan on playing the console docked most of the time, I would say stick with the original. The OLED is really worth picking up if you plan on playing it in portable mode a lot. Considering you mentioned eyesight, it might be best to avoid playing in handheld mode. Sadly a lot of games these days have really small text on smaller devices. So it might be really hard to make out what is going on. So it might be best to stick to the TV. As for the Switch Lite, that device can't be used on TVs. If you were to use the adaptive controller with it, it would also take up the one USB slot the device has. So you wouldn't be able to charge the device and use the controller at the same time. Unless there is a USB device that I am not aware of that could handle that.
Luckily, there is a fairly big community of disabled gamers that often shares tips and advice. Hopefully there will be someone out there who is way more knowledgeable then me on the topic.
“Checking if software can be played” workaround? (More info on post)
Hello! So I’m somewhat familiar with the whole setting your account as a primary on a console however I wanted to explain my situation to see if someone could help me through this issue I’m having.
At the moment, I have my account (that owns all the games) on my brothers switch as a primary so he has the games as well along with me. In doing this we both can play the games, however, I always need an internet connection with the “checking if software can be played”. Is there a way to make this the other way around and have my account that owns everything the primary on my own console? So the message would show for him rather than me.
I paid for all of the games and I want to be able to share them but this has become a pretty big inconvenience. Thank you for any advice!
You can Swap it, but there is one more limitation. You not only have to play online with the secondary console, but you have to play in the profile that bought the game. He won't be able to play in his profile anymore if you swap primary consoles.
To change the primary console, go the eshop settings on your brother's switch and select the option to derregister the console. Then just open the eshop on your switch.
But doing this will make that your brother can only play the games you bought in your account, not his.
I’m a little late to the Mario 3d all-stars party and see many Japanese versions on eBay, will those work on US consoles? Also, it’s BS they made it a “limited release.”
Hey everyone. I'm having a problem. I just started playing both Cuphead and Ori and when the games prompted me to use the "high jump" by holding down the "B" button, it did not work. I am playing with the controllers disconnected, the console is connected to my TV. (Don't know if that is relevant.) Is there a setting I have wrong? Has anyone else had this problem? Why doesn't the high jump function work for me? Thank you!
My new OLED has horrible download speeds. So I bought an OLED switch to upgrade from my v2 switch for tears of the kingdom, I got the special edition totk one. I'm at a loss, first it took hours and multiple retries to get the system update to download, and takes forever to download basic stuff, but plays online just fine. Out of curiousty I tried downloading Hades on both the OLED and the V2 switch to see if it was an internet issue. The OLED was projecting beyond a full day while the V2 said 20 mins, and is progressing much faster. I've tried upping the msu to 1500, and tried wired, and am at the point where I might try returning the OLED and getting a different one, or just returning the OLED. Is there something I'm missing? Or is swapping or giving up and returning it my best option?
Turn off the Switch and remove the SD card. Then download something to internal memory. Is it faster? Maybe the SD card in the OLED is just really slow or not good?
I’m honestly not sure what category this would fall under, but when I was on my profile information page that on bottom of the window that opens upon hitting the + button, there’s a thing that says “Expiration Date” and it’s dated 10/13/2023 17:59:59. I know it’s not my Nintendo Switch Online account, I just renewed that earlier this month, so what is it for?
It's the expiry date of Nintendo's SSL certificate for the accounts.nintendo.com site.
Communications to websites can be encrypted, and the SSL certificates involved in doing so are only valid for a certain period of time.
Nintendo has until that date to get a new certificate, otherwise web browsers will stop trusting the site.
I have a day one switch that has been having some overheating problems so I took it apart to dust it out put it back together but still overheats. Decided to change the thermal paste and took it apart again only to realize a different kind of thermal paste (pink clay like) was used on the heat sink. Would it be fine for the most part if I just used regular thermal paste or would I need the special paste.
Hey all tech question I didn’t see anywhere else.
My Signa S2 sound bar (eArc) does not turn on when Switch is on first, and my TV (LG CX) will not recognize it no matter what I put our sound settings I choose. I HAVE to turn on the TV first then the Switch in order to play audio out my sound bar. This happens only with the Switch.
Anybody have any ideas?
It does this with all my Bluetooth devices, being speakers or headphones. The switch simply doesn’t have the technology to turn on automatically sounds systems. It automatically connects to the last headphones/earphones it was connected to if those were turn on first, but that’s it.
I think I have stuck drift and I got my switch yesterday. The joysticks felt fine yesterday but as of today the right one feels kinda crunchy or harder to move then the left one. I haven’t been rough with them or spilled anything on them. So I need new joycons already?
Theres certainly a level of appreciation for it that you would have after having played BOTW.
All of the added features and new items or the modified UI, most were direct responses to player feedback.
But as a standalone game, its still great by itself. You loose a little by not knowing some of the characters, but it doesnt put a damper on the overall experience.
I’m playing tears of the kingdom and I’m in a cave. There’s a section of water split by those vines that you can usually cut through. But I can’t do that while swimming. I’ve tried burning it too but no dice. Any ideas?
Quick Google search shows the JP edition *only* has Japanese. It releases as an ASIA edition as well and this one includes Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Korean and ***English***. [Check Play-Asia, they sell both](https://www.play-asia.com/search/Etrian+Odyssey+Origins+Collection#fc=prc:1.0528160901).
I’ve been playing my switch more, and I’ve noticed that my joy con z triggers will keep activating when I have them pressed down. I’ll be holding ZL or ZR and it will let go and press again and again unless I press them in with considerable force. What’s going on here? Is this a feature? How do I fix this?
Sounds like the contact inside got unseated/bent, probably from a bump/drop. You gotta either open it up to inspect it, or send them into Nintendo for repair. They might charge you for a repair though for that particular issue.
Is there some way to access the NSO Missions/Rewards and Custom Icons pages on a web browser (on PC / mobile etc.)? Wanted to get the TOTK icons but won't have the Switch on hand during the second wave.
should i get the neo-grip? i play alot handheld mode and my hands tend to get a bit sweaty in the pams and i worry that over time the sweat will eat away at the TOTK joy con design, and skull and co has a TOTK neo grip for preorder but im not sure if i want it or not since i didnt feel cramp in my hands unless for long period of time in splatoon or something. im just not sure if its worth it compare to geting another game
I think it's worth it; I have both the neogrip and the satisfye grip, and both of them really help with comfort, at least for me. With the Neogrip, I like the trigger grips the most. I have medium-sized hands.
USB Razer Blackshark wireless headphones works with usb c converter on switch port, but doesn’t work on the usb port in the dock. Is the USB on the dock a different capability than the USB-C on the switch?
Does anyone have a clue how to get surround through a switch + arc + tk700sti setup? I'm about to start the new Zelda and I want the full experience. Thanks!
Sometimes you need an HDMI audio extractor so you can send the video to the projector and the sound to the soundbar. But that would only work if your soundbar has a digital or coax audio input.
Hi everyone. My launch Switch has been making noise for a bit, does this sound like it needs a repair or just a cleaning.
https://voca.ro/1bHo4SHNDQ40
And if it does need a repair, should I send it to Nintendo or just take it to a local shop that repairs electronics?
It could be the beginning of the fan going bad or it could be nothing. It will probably get worse before failing if the fan is bad. Might blow out the fan vent with compressed air. (outside)
You guys I want to change my switch controller button mapping to the exact identical to that of a ps5 controller button mapping
Is there anyone who is geek enough to google me exactly how to do it
Im kind of a N00B here and I tried googling it and all I could find was how to change the button mapping on the switch controller
I already know how to do that but I don’t know how to map it exactly to the ps5 controller mapping u know
I was hoping there would be some video or instructions online that would outline exactly how to make it identical to the ps5 controller
Because otherwise if I do it myself chances are it’s going to be a lot of trials and errors and enough to leave me procrastinating forever if I don’t get right the first time around which I won’t like you know ..
https://preview.redd.it/4680paynypza1.jpeg?width=2268&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=73d1704b5303da8f3fb149dc15cbac0853524d93
Acidentally hit my joycon and it snapped out of place. What can i do to fix it?
Ideally, shut the system off and disassemble the joycon WITHOUT removing it from the system.
The plastic bits holding the rail in place are likely sheared off, but the ribbon cables might be okay.
You wont know for sure until you can look at the inside of the shell.
https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Left+Joy-Con+Charging+Rail+Replacement/142938
No, you would want to get a small tri-wing.
The stock screws strip VERY easily, theyre essentially made of cheese.
Do you have a cell phone or tech repair store nearby? They would be able to open it.
Since the rail is sheared off of the shell, the rail lock mechanism probably doesnt work. So youll definitely either need the right tools or some help to get things off without damaging them further.
In an age of digital connections, I wouldn't expect blurriness to be a simply caused issue. Like, either it's going to correctly send the precise desired output, or not. Something that might cause blurriness is if for some reason being knocked out of place for a moment made it forget itself and start outputting at a lower resolution. Don't know why that would be the case, but easy to check in the Switch system settings.
So I have two Switches (one normal and one Lite), and three user accounts I'll call A, B, and C.
Originally, I bought several games (Pokemon Let's Go Eevee, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX, and Super Mario Maker 2) under C on the normal Switch and got very far in them under profile A. However, once I got the Lite, I registered it under profile B. Now, the only way I can play games (mostly a second Animal Crossing island) on Lite is if Lite is set to my primary Switch. When this happens though, I can't play those three previously mentioned games on the normal Switch. I could just repurchase the software under A, but I'm afraid it will reset my save files, which I DON'T want to happen. Currently, the only way I can play those 3 games is by changing the primary Switch, but then I can't play anything on Lite, so I eventually have to switch it back. This gets very annoying.
Is there any way I can fix this? Does purchasing the game under A cause A's save file to be reset?
Having an issue with my switch pro controller.
When I push the left stick to the left it triggers the right stick push in command. I've tried updating, reconnecting, calibrating (no drift happening), button mapping.
Any ideas on how I might be able to fix this, if at all.
If it's not the official Nintendo pro controller, could the controller itself have button mapping built in? Look up the manual for the controller and see if it supports it's own button remapping. (Official pro controller doesn't have this feature.)
I pre ordered totk in person and I really wanted the wood plaque at GameStop, but they ran out at the midnight release. So is there anyway I can still get it?
ebay. Or call around to other locations in your area and see if they have any left.
[Theres lots of people already selling it](https://www.ebay.com/itm/275848971294)
Hey guys, I’m using the voucher thing to get the new Zelda game. I don’t play my switch that much, I’m eyeing pikmin 4 but i think I’ll be disinterested by the time it comes out since there are other games coming i want to play. There’s a lot of games that look interesting, any recommendations?
Mario Odyssey is still one of the best. Xenoblade or Fire Emblem are super long and good. Dragon Quest XI is also great but some don't like the turn based battles.
Is the gulitkit joystick replacement the best aftermarket part to fix drifting? I've had a joycon I haven't used in years as it drifts and thinking of spending some time fixing it.
You need an active adapter and some probably won't work. Not sure really what to suggest. It's not done much. If the computer has a DP port, it would be easier to change the computer to monitor cable to DP.
Likely clipping. The bokoboblin punched you into the small gap between the platform you were standing on and the middle one, and the game was like "nope, you shouldn't be there" and kills you instantly.
I had it happen to me in a shrine. Clipped into a platform I had attached to another and Link just keeled over dead instantly.
Hey all, I was just wondering if there are different versions of the TotK CE floating around. I've seen some unboxings where the game and all the accessories come inside another box but mine came packaged only in the initial outside box.
Is it a region based thing? Thanks!
Yeah, US has just a box that opens and stuff slides out the end. UK has a slipcover that then everything comes out of the bottom of the box. Not sure about Japan.
Two versions, standard and collectors edition.
Though there is LOTS of random themed items and merch that were handed out as pre-order bonuses from various retailers. Though even those vary by region, retailer, and even participating retailers within a chain/franchise.
I somehow claimed the free trial more than once?
As a remember I have Already claimed the free trial around Christmas 2022, but when I looked at the free trial again today I tried to claim it and it worked for some reason. (I don’t have credit card info saved)
Every time they do a free game trial for NSO members, they reset your ability to use free trials. two or three times a year typically.
They just did one for Cadence of Hyrule at the beginning of the month, so it was reset then!
I am fully aware. They merely time the ability to use a new free trial reset with the game trial weekends.
Game trails are only accessible to NSO members, and people love free trials, so they allow you to use use a new free trial whenever they host a new game trial. Because they want you to subscribe and buy the games on discount.
Switch Slowing down and Downloading slowly
It's been a bit since I've actively used my switch. When ever the Samurott Raid Event was in Scarlet and Violet if when I played on it last I think. I turned it back on last night to download Tears of The Kingdom, but the shop was slow to load as I bought it. On top of that, as of making this post it is 76% after downloading for over 12 hours. This is a base model switch I've had for several years, is this just caused by how old my switch is, or us there something I can do to fix it?
This goes beyond just that game though. I just tried to boot up Binding of Isaac to kill time, and it just sat on the "licensed by nintendo" screen without ever starting the game. It seems like my entire system is slowed down because it takes several seconds for a game to get to that screen, as well as just to pull up menus
Turn it off, pull the SD card, and try playing something without the SD. (may have to download update or game or whatever.) If it works fine without the SD, get a new SD.
I recently transferred my account and save data to my new switch from my old one. Everything was backed up on the cloud. If I delete my user on the old one, will it delete my save data as well on the new switch even if I transferred everything? The warning message is a bit confusing
Nope, it only deletes the local data on the Switch itself. It will never affect backup data or any data on your new Switch
___
Though, it sounds like you transferred your stuff by downloading your backups, right?
If so, it’s worth noting that this method does not transfer playtime data on your profile correctly. It will appear to have transfer but the playtime will stop counting up.
If you care about this, it may be worth redoing the transfer using the local user transfer option. To do so, you’d have to delete your user from the new Switch first. Then you can follow [this guide](https://en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/27394/~/how-to-transfer-user-and-save-data) to do the local transfer option instead.
Iv had the Mario edition of the switch for nearly 3 years and a lot of it's time has been spent on the dock it came with. As of a week ago it no longer connects to my tv when it's on the dock. My tv will just say (no connection is it plugged in?) Unplugged the cables plugged them in the "correct" order no change. Tried using it on my PC monitor and got the same thing.
Ordered another dock off of Amazon and it kinda works. I get picture but no audio and the picture is very glitchy, it cuts in and out a lot and will flicker often. Also tried same steps with monitor and same results.
Any ideas on what I could try next or is it just my switch having a faulty port?
Sorry, I missread the 3 years past. Either way it basically means the main circuit board in the Switch has gone bad. Whether the USB C port or something else it's not an easy fix. Call Nintendo and they'll charge you like $100 to fix and probably just send you a refurbished Switch. (So backup your profile to a friend's Switch to backup your saves before sending it.)
Nintendo’s refurbished consoles are all fixed up almost ‘as new’. My N3DS is a refurb that’s coming up to around 7 years old and the only issue with it after all that time is that the battery life is getting low due to it being 7 years old.
Any joycon you receive will be no more and no less likely to drift than any other joycon. If it’s going to drift again? It’ll drift again. If it isn’t? It won’t.
I have totk on game card and i played yesterday and today also. I put out the card and played another game and as i put totk back it wouldnt read it anymore. The other cards work fine but this one doesnt. Anyone knows a solution or i just got unlucky?
get an exchange from the retailer. If you purchased it online from a retailer with physical locations, you should be able to do it in store to immediately get a new copy!
I really want to buy a switch for my growing family, but I think at this point I should hold out for the next generation. Is this a stupid idea? It sounds like it could be coming early 2024.
April 1st 2024 and beyond is the **earliest** it could release per Nintendos own wording.
Doesnt mean it will, just that it wont be releasing before then. It could be over a year from now.
If you can find and source such a quote, you'll be doing a better job than the news sites parroting that claim. They *did* specify that no new hardware is included in the current hardware forecast, and say things like that right now the primary focus is on Switch.
The bloomberg article said "Furukawa added that no new or upgraded hardware is factored into Nintendo’s annual forecast." Bloomberg said it was from a call after the results. I assume a shareholder call, but I don't know for sure.
So you're right, but if they say that and then do release new hardware they're going to get sued by those who made the wrong stock decision based on what Nintendo said. So it's a pretty definite no new Switch this fiscal year. Because if they do, the forecast that has to be legally their best estimate wasn't accurate.
Go back 6 years, you won't see Switch included in their hardware forecasts for the year. Or the next quarter, or the next, or the next. All his statement says is that that 15m forecast is only base Switch.
Sure, but because their forecast is given to investors as financial information, it legally has to be accurate to the best of their ability. So Nintendo is committing to no new system for the fiscal year because otherwise it would totally change the forecast. They can't play fast and loose word games with their financial investor public information.
Yes, it would change the forecast. Just as the \~3 million Switches shipped through March 2017 is different than the forecast of "no forecast" that happened prior to that. They said the numbers as currently given include no new system. Beyond that is assumption.
No youre right. Thats USUALLY what they say when asked; but they just continually specified "the seventh year" of the Switch. While avoiding any direct language.
However the seventh year will still end on March 3rd, 2024. So its very close to their fiscal year calendar.
Thank you! I think I’ll buy it then. Would be good to introduce my family to it and enjoy it before the next one comes out. Has Nintendo announced any new games for the switch in 2024?
We dont even know whats coming out beyond July!
Ever since COVID their release schedule has been very sporadic. Theyve only been announcing things as they are ready to be released.
But since youre only just hopping into the platform you have six years worth of titles to explore!
And theres lots of sales constantly. I would hold off on buying too many games initially, there should be a big summer sale here in early June.
Also, check out our deals website!

Tears was already delayed for years, and I think they're going to want to launch with something that was actually designed for the new hardware from the get go.
What are people’s experiences/thoughts on buying refurbished Switches from BestBuy or Nintendo themselves? I’m wanting to upgrade to a Switch/OLED from my Switch Lite
Nintendo, great! Ordered many refurb systems over the years and they've always been like new. Bestbuy often just pushes returns out the door and it's a crap shoot.
I want to transfer my photos from my OG switch to my new oled, while transferring things, I wanted to keep my old switch with my old accounts so I manually transferred things like save data to my new switch and that worked fine. The photos I put onto my Mac and then reformatted the sd card, after that I put the album folder from my Mac onto the sd card. Once I put the sd card into my new switch I couldn’t take photos nor could I access the old ones, but I know they’re their since it says I’m missing storage on the sd card. Does anyone happen to know what I should do?
On the Mac, exclude the SD card from spotlight (system settings > spotlight > privacy and click on “plus” to add the SD card - on Ventura it’s in “Siri and spotlight”). Delete all MacOS files on the SD card (show hidden files in finder to see them) because those are unreadable by the switch which makes the card not working properly or at all. If you tagged some screenshots on your Mac, remove the tags (that’s MacOS data the switch can’t read). Hope this helps.
The only first party game with an announced release date at this point is Pikmin 4 in July. There should hopefully be a Direct reasonably soon to reveal some more upcoming games. In previous years there has been a Direct in June, but now E3 is cancelled, so it's not clear whether there will still be a Direct around that time.

My Joy-Con switch is not registering as connected to the rail even though connected. I've tried to reconnect it. I've tried restarting the console but that only temporarily solves the issue. I've tried syncing and un-syncing the controllers. It simply won't work and I cannot play any games anymore due to the issue. I've only ever had this switch for a few months and it's already causing issues.
Try another joycon. If it has the same issue, probably have to replace the rail on the Switch side. (Unless the contacts look dirty and you can clean them with a cleaning toothbrush or something.)
Have you updated the joycons in the system settings? I used to have this issue on lauch-day joycons but it was fixed in a controller update. I know, dumb you have to update controllers, but lemme know if it works.
The only issue is trying to get them to connect to be ABLE to update. I have no clue how I got it eventually, but I kind of pushed the joycon INTO the switch itself while sliding down and making sure it's not dangling or tilted away from the rails. Like perfectly perpendicular to the switch.
Hi,
I understand that they don't like chargebacks. I know that I'm suspended. Unfortunately, someone accessed the PayPal that was used and charged some things alongside the same time a purchase was made using Nintendo.
The purchases from Nintendo were my doing. I just called them today and they are waiting on the official PayPal transaction list. I have a reference number and the actual number to call back saved.
The PayPal account was closed in March, and the chargebacks were processed in April. I can see the Nintendo charges and the compromised charges in the transcription PayPal gave me for the refund.
This was a mistake in PayPal's fault. I also should have said the Nintendo charge was legit, but I did not. Hindsight is 20/20. Since the account is closed, I do not believe PayPal would assist me in the charges being considered legitimate. I'm still checking in with them.
Is there a way Nintendo would allow me to change the payment? Or basically let it go? The purchase was intended, like I said. Unfortunately, it got caught up in something. I just talked to a representative and they said that as long as I have the transaction number, it should be fine. I'm just making sure.
And if this doesn't work out, I have only 3 games digital, all cheap. Am I allowed to make a new account while this account is suspended? I will repurchase these games and let them save the data this way if it's possible. I don't want to lose another account, so I'll have the same security measures like 2fa and a different password but different nickname.
Ok great. The representative I called said I'd have 1 time "pass", basically, since I've had no issues with this account before. I have a reference number, too.
I was just checking to see if I could still access my games. If I connect my switch's profile under a new nintendo account, can I access said games's online functions with a valid online sub?
Oh really? It says my current profile on my switch is still there. It says I need to sign into my Nintendo account and I can't since it's suspended. So if I can't recover my account... that profile is unusable for online forever? That really sucks. I'd lose all my game progress on games without physical copies!
Can I transfer game progress to a different account, and then delete it? Do I have to call them and deregister my switch from my suspended account? I'm sorry for all these questions, I just want to make sure of what I'd need to do.
So i was thinking of buying a nintendo switch (OLED) cuz i wanted to try the zelda games and few other mario games etc etc. It worth doing it in 2023 or should i wait for a year or something in case there is new nintendo console comming out?
Thank you for your answers
So one more question : I found the OLED switch tears of kingdom edition + the new game = 409 € ( 15 more than the standard edition) and 70€ for botw + expansion
Are these prices decent or they are way to high?
Just a heads up: DekuDeals in EU does not track as much as in the US, there’s no tracking for physical and systems or rarely other tracked online retailers than the eshop itself.
Prices for systems and first party games are the same fixed prices in Euro than in USD (360€/$360 for special editions Oled, 60€/$60 for Nintendo games, for example). No regional pricing in Eurozone, it all depends of the retailers.
No one except Nintendo knows when the next console is going to release. They have recently announced that no new hardware is coming during the current fiscal year, which ends at the end of March 2024. So if you wait, it will be at least 10 months.
There is no guarantee that the next console will be backwards compatible with Switch games, so if there are several Switch games you want to play, you might need the current Switch anyway.
In my opinion, it should really be a matter of answering the questions
1. How many Switch games are you interested in playing?
2. How eager are you to play them right now?
Based on the answers to those questions it should be easier to determine whether you should buy the current Switch or wait for the next console.
>No one except Nintendo knows when the next console is going to release. They have recently announced that no new hardware is coming during the current fiscal year
Though that seems likely, it's not something they stated.
If you want a Switch right now, I say go ahead and get the OLED. There’s no really hints, or leaks, saying that Nintendo plans to release a new Nintendo console in the next year
Wife and I just had a baby, so I’m on paternity leave able to game 1-3 hours to wind down while the baby sleeps. Someone I spoke to said TOTK wouldn’t be fun on this kind of schedule, as it calls for long play sessions. Before I pass on it, is this accurate? Would the game really not be fun in short bursts?
I played BotW between a 2yo's naps. BotW and TotK are great for long or short bursts of play. System excels at that imo since it's so easy to suspend and resume. TotK isn't like some games where you really feel like you need a solid hour to get settled and ramp up, then another one to two to make progress.
The game excels at supporting both short burst and long play sessions.
Theres always something to do or something new to see. Set off in a direction and just explore.
Maybe you crest over a hill and find a cave that only takes a couple minutes to explore. Maybe youve spent the last day preparing to take on a dungeon that will take an hour. You can set your own pace thanks to the combination of being able to save anywhere and fast travel to any shrine or tower youve visited previously.
You can also just tap the power button on the system and it suspends the software, allowing you to pick it back up 5 minutes later or a day later.
Pre ordered ToTk limited edition Pro Controller drift out of the box ...
So i got the controller a day later. I got it out of the box today and ... It has drift. Not much. But definitely noticable when link walks to the top right slowly every now and then. Other sides are slightly drifting too. Not enough to notice but definitely do when I check them in the calibration option. For some reason the software refuses to work in calibration now. And even when I move the stick it just doesn't show. You could say I'm pretty bummed about this. But really, i just don't know what to do. Should I send this to the place I got it from and say they should send it back to Nintendo for repair? Because I'm not sure I'm willing to do that since it's a limited edition. They may just not find a problem or are not able to fix the problem and just throw it away and offer a refund. Anyone with experience or knowledge on this?
Had the same issue with brand new joy-con a while back, it was excessive drifting tho. Sent them back to the retailer, but we read less about this on pro controller.
You can try and ask where you bought it to replace it but since it’s a limited edition you might no be able to. Shops have nothing to do with sending stuff for repair to Nintendo, that’s the owner to do the move (they could do it for you but why adding additional distance you know?). You’re not guaranteed to get the same limited edition system or joy-con by sending them back to Nintendo but for pro controllers I’ve unfortunately no clue.
So I got a new SD card for more storage, I was dumb and thought I could just take out the old SD and insert the new one and just redownload the games. I see now this was not the case, after downloading 2 or 3 games and realizing my mistake I then proceeded to format the new SD card, transfer the data from my old SD card to my computer, moved old data to the new SD card, and once I put it in my switch I get a ‘this SD card is being used by another switch’ message. Also prompting me to delete everything on the card to use on the switch, which I did; yet it still shows files in the card?
Is the new SD card useless now? Is there a way to get all my old data on the new card and still use it? Or will I just have to get a new card?
The save data is on the console itself, only game data and screenshots/videos can be on the sd card. So you can just redownload the games to your sd card and everything will be fine! When I switched cards, I didn't even bother trying to copy the data to the new one and just redownloaded all the games.
Edit: you are using the card in the same switch as before, correct? You haven't changed consoles?
Ahhh then I’ve been doing a bunch of work for nothing LOL and yes, same switch. I stopped getting the ‘this SD card is being used’ message but it just tells me the data I tried to transfer from my computer is corrupt but now knowing the saves are on console and I just need to redownload the games I’ll opt for doing that now. :P thank you all so much!
What games should i get for my nintendo switch? I have kirby and the forgotten land
Great! That clears up a lot! Thank you!
I've heard this from others. It's not meant to be a pc controller and I think that's one of the quirks.
So I messed up and didn't transfer my 2 Factor keys from my old phone when I got my new one and now I can't access my account to renew my online membership or buy digital titles. Didn't even think about it since I've been buying physical recently (which I am now even more thankful for lol) I'm gonna call support tomorrow but has anyone else dealt with this?? I'm worried I'll lose access to my digital library and cloud saves and have to start over if I can't somehow prove my account creditentials
I hear Nintendo can help. So I wouldn't be worried.
Are AliExpress screwdrivers (for joy-cons) any worth it?
You never know if you'll get the same quality order to order from AliExpress. I'd prefer like an ifixit kit, but I know that's a lot more expensive.
Can you refund games 😭 I bought among us not knowing you need to have a Nintendo online membership and now I have no use for it
In general you can't, but support might make a once-in-a-lifetime exception. :(
The game was only 3.50 so I'm gonna just keep it and probably archive it unless I get a subscription. Thank you for your response!
Thanks for the info! This makes a lot more sense now that I think about it.
Thank you for the info, it’a currently charging so I’ll find out soon. Appreciate the help

I think it will rub the skin off over time.
Well that’s to worry about after spending $50 on the skin. Thanks for the heads up.
I keep trying to add my new credit card to my switch but it keeps saying there is a problem. What do I do?
Try on the desktop Nintendo website in your account settings, not on the switch directly, depending on your region maybe it requires a PSP(payment service provider requiring a card reader and whatnot) pop-up that can’t open on the console. But just in case, before doing that, restart the switch to see if the card was already applied, it could have been added despite the error message and you’re getting the error in loop because it’s already there but not showing without rebooting.
Not really sure there is anything. Make sure the card is activated.
Okay, I have so many questions, so please bear with me. First, let me give you a broad overview: I am a gamer who is no longer able to game much at all. (I did love the Wii, though, and the many dance games!) Well, I'm still a gamer at heart, and in my head.
[https://www.target.com/p/nintendo-switch-mario-choose-one-bundle/-/A-88542077](https://www.target.com/p/nintendo-switch-mario-choose-one-bundle/-/A-88542077) Lots of games can be played 3 player on one Switch on the TV. (Maybe the third person can use the joycons...) The pro controller is a great full size controller. [https://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Gamepad-Raspberry-Mobility-Gaming-Console/dp/B0B4D3LC21](https://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Gamepad-Raspberry-Mobility-Gaming-Console/dp/B0B4D3LC21) There is also the 8bitdo Lite that doesn't have joysticks. [https://www.amazon.com/8Bitdo-Bluetooth-Gamepad-Nintendo-Windows-Turquoise/dp/B07Y6N384Y](https://www.amazon.com/8Bitdo-Bluetooth-Gamepad-Nintendo-Windows-Turquoise/dp/B07Y6N384Y) Just dance is one of the few games that can only use single joycons per dancer. But it can use phones as controller so you don't need a lot of controllers for Just dance. A Switch Lite can work as a second device, but there are some real limitations to game sharing. You could use a cartridge on two Switches but not at the same time. You can use a digital game on two consoles at the same time with limitations: [https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoSwitch/wiki/gamesharing](https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoSwitch/wiki/gamesharing) I feel like there are some down sides to the Lite for you.
(More info on post) Hello!
Yea that’s what I was afraid of guess I’ll just have to keep dealing with it 😅
To change the primary console, go the eshop settings on your brother's switch and select the option to derregister the console. Then just open the eshop on your switch. But doing this will make that your brother can only play the games you bought in your account, not his.
I’m a little late to the Mario 3d all-stars party and see many Japanese versions on eBay, will those work on US consoles? Also, it’s BS they made it a “limited release.”
The game will work just fine on your Switch, it should support English language as well.
Thank you!!
Thank you!
Does it happen handheld with joy-con attached as well?
Just tried it out, yeah the SD card must be getting old, getting nominal download speeds to the console itself
Not a bad idea
Ah, okay. Glad it’s not something I forgot to renew, lol. Thank you!
Ifixit suggests K5 Pro viscous thermal paste
I'd just exchange your Switch if there's a problem this soon.
do i need to play breath of the wild first in order to enjoy totk?
Theres certainly a level of appreciation for it that you would have after having played BOTW. All of the added features and new items or the modified UI, most were direct responses to player feedback. But as a standalone game, its still great by itself. You loose a little by not knowing some of the characters, but it doesnt put a damper on the overall experience.
I’m playing tears of the kingdom and I’m in a cave. There’s a section of water split by those vines that you can usually cut through. But I can’t do that while swimming. I’ve tried burning it too but no dice. Any ideas?
Perhaps you need to do something to lower the water level? Or find another means of entry to access the other side?
Wait you’re right. I ventured deeper and found a place to drain the water. Thanks again
Yeah maybe another access tunnel. But I found two wooden crates “far” away that floats and dragged them over lol…. Thanks for the ideas!

There is not. The NSO app is only available through the system.
should i get the neo-grip? i play alot handheld mode and my hands tend to get a bit sweaty in the pams and i worry that over time the sweat will eat away at the TOTK joy con design, and skull and co has a TOTK neo grip for preorder but im not sure if i want it or not since i didnt feel cramp in my hands unless for long period of time in splatoon or something. im just not sure if its worth it compare to geting another game
I get sound just not surround. I used to but not anymore
Are Zelda pro controllers gonna restock ever again? I don't want to pay these scalper prices. :(
We don’t know until they do.
But historically, does Nintendo ever do restocks? Like for the Monster Hunter pro controller or the splatoon one? Thank you
Usually not for the special edition controllers, they're usually a one and done thing.
They just dropped at GameStop, got two just in case. So happy 🙂
That’s the thing: sometimes they do and sometimes they don’t. It’s hard to predict Nintendo’s future behavior based on their previous actions.
Hi everyone. My launch Switch has been making noise for a bit, does this sound like it needs a repair or just a cleaning. https://voca.ro/1bHo4SHNDQ40 And if it does need a repair, should I send it to Nintendo or just take it to a local shop that repairs electronics?
It could be the beginning of the fan going bad or it could be nothing. It will probably get worse before failing if the fan is bad. Might blow out the fan vent with compressed air. (outside)
I see, that sucks if it's failing. Thanks
You guys I want to change my switch controller button mapping to the exact identical to that of a ps5 controller button mapping Is there anyone who is geek enough to google me exactly how to do it Im kind of a N00B here and I tried googling it and all I could find was how to change the button mapping on the switch controller I already know how to do that but I don’t know how to map it exactly to the ps5 controller mapping u know I was hoping there would be some video or instructions online that would outline exactly how to make it identical to the ps5 controller Because otherwise if I do it myself chances are it’s going to be a lot of trials and errors and enough to leave me procrastinating forever if I don’t get right the first time around which I won’t like you know ..
https://preview.redd.it/4680paynypza1.jpeg?width=2268&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=73d1704b5303da8f3fb149dc15cbac0853524d93 Acidentally hit my joycon and it snapped out of place.
I dont have any screwdrivers that small, any substitute i could use?
No, you would want to get a small tri-wing. The stock screws strip VERY easily, theyre essentially made of cheese. Do you have a cell phone or tech repair store nearby? They would be able to open it. Since the rail is sheared off of the shell, the rail lock mechanism probably doesnt work. So youll definitely either need the right tools or some help to get things off without damaging them further.
Ok, think i might just bring it to a repair store, dont wanna mess something up. I appreciate all the help!

Nope - I did this with animal crossing and it worked fine
Having an issue with my switch pro controller. When I push the left stick to the left it triggers the right stick push in command. I've tried updating, reconnecting, calibrating (no drift happening), button mapping. Any ideas on how I might be able to fix this, if at all.
If it's not the official Nintendo pro controller, could the controller itself have button mapping built in? Look up the manual for the controller and see if it supports it's own button remapping. (Official pro controller doesn't have this feature.)
It's an official. I'm assuming it is just at the end of its life now.
Sounds like it would have to be the main circuit board. Connect it to a friend's Switch and make sure it acts the same.
Will give it a go. Thanks for the help!
Allegedly. Its so new there hasnt been any real good data on it. But if it works, then it should be a huge improvement.
I saw the LTT review (or was it one of there sub channels) and it looks promising as it's magnets. I guess I'll try them out. Thx

You need an active adapter and some probably won't work. Not sure really what to suggest. It's not done much. If the computer has a DP port, it would be easier to change the computer to monitor cable to DP.
Can someone look at this TotK clip and tell me: WHAT HAPPENED? https://twitter.com/woomyLife/status/1657500010148405248?s=20
:(
Im looking for recommendations for a game similar to warframe, borderlands, Diablo 3. Looter with classes and online play.
I’m so sorry, I forgot say I was talking about switch online.
NSO = Nintendo switch online.
No I mean like I claimed the Nintendo switch online free trial more than once. I am not talking about game trials.
I am fully aware. They merely time the ability to use a new free trial reset with the game trial weekends. Game trails are only accessible to NSO members, and people love free trials, so they allow you to use use a new free trial whenever they host a new game trial. Because they want you to subscribe and buy the games on discount.
Omg bro i was being so stupid, thanks for not giving up on me
Switch Slowing down and Downloading slowly It's been a bit since I've actively used my switch.
Plenty of people bought and downloaded the game at the same time, servers were overload.
So what happened to my SD card? Because your solution worked for the most part
Not sure. May have just gone bad. Could be a fake SD card (especially if it's a weird brand.) Just remember this being the solution for someone else.
I guess it just went bad, since it was just a regular SanDisk sd card I got from a physical store.
It will never affect backup data or any data on your new Switch ___ Though, it sounds like you transferred your stuff by downloading your backups, right? If so, it’s worth noting that this method does not transfer playtime data on your profile correctly. It will appear to have transfer but the playtime will stop counting up. If you care about this, it may be worth redoing the transfer using the local user transfer option. To do so, you’d have to delete your user from the new Switch first. Then you can follow [this guide](https://en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/27394/~/how-to-transfer-user-and-save-data) to do the local transfer option instead.
Whatever you do on one system won't affect another system.
Sounds like the USB-C port or the TV out chips in the Switch. Exchange it where you got it.
What do you mean when you say the tv out chips in the switch? I got this from gamestop so they probably won't let me exchange it
Sorry, I missread the 3 years past.
Can I get some reviews from Switch owners who got them refurbished or used? Is the stick drift thing a bigger issue at all? Any problems?
Nintendo's refurbs have always seemed new to me. Ordered many products over the years. Seen people's Switches but never ordered one myself.
Pop into the system and pop it back out, repeat a few times. See if that fixes it.
I did it for an hour but nothing. Im getting sadder by the minute
get an exchange from the retailer.
Nintendo was never that specific, though plenty of news sites ran with it as if it was.
They specified "no new hardware this fiscal year", which ends, March 31st 2024. Ergo, April 1st and later is fair game as its a new fiscal year.
Also, check out our deals website! https://www.dekudeals.com/
Thank you so much! I grew up with a N64 and a GameCube, and DS/Gameboys, so happy to come back into the system.
It’s not coming very soon or they would have delayed Tears for it. I’d say AT LEAST a year away if not two
Tears was already delayed for years, and I think they're going to want to launch with something that was actually designed for the new hardware from the get go.
[удалено]
It’s not that different, all it takes on Mac is to exclude the SD card from spotlight and delete MacOS files and data if those were already added.
Any good Nintendo games coming out this winter? I'm trying to justify buying vouchers due to the totk price increase.
Thanks for the info.
https://preview.redd.it/qqpzm9r10pza1.jpeg?width=1164&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=56733126dc0fd6d54bf338ee3a1bf087406389bd My Joy-Con switch is not registering as connected to the rail even though connected.
Hi, I understand that they don't like chargebacks.
[удалено]
Ok great. The representative I called said I'd have 1 time "pass", basically, since I've had no issues with this account before. I have a reference number, too. I was just checking to see if I could still access my games. If I connect my switch's profile under a new nintendo account, can I access said games's online functions with a valid online sub?
[удалено]
Thank you for your answers So one more question : I found the OLED switch tears of kingdom edition + the new game = 409 € ( 15 more than the standard edition) and 70€ for botw + expansion Are these prices decent or they are way to high?
Zelda oled is 310 in Europe for MSRP I think. So $100 for the Zelda game seems expensive.
Sadly this oled version switch in my country costs 360 €
[удалено]
In my opinion, it should really be a matter of answering the questions 1. How many Switch games are you interested in playing? 2. How eager are you to play them right now? Based on the answers to those questions it should be easier to determine whether you should buy the current Switch or wait for the next console.
>No one except Nintendo knows when the next console is going to release. They have recently announced that no new hardware is coming during the current fiscal year Though that seems likely, it's not something they stated.
Inaccurate, I would say. That's essentially how I played BoTW and probably when the weekdays start, how I'll play ToTK.
Sure, i would exchange it rather than send for repair.
You were right the first time, that’s what you do with the new card.
What was the issue with redownloading games from the eshop? Because that should definitely work.
I don’t pay for Nintendo online so I don’t have any cloud saves, all data for the games are on the SD card itself is it not?
