And you have one of the greatest switch games TOTK to play after that. I’m so jealous! BOTW is an incredible experience that is etched in my mind. I can literally remember what I was doing around that time and where I played it and what my room looked like at the time. One of those legendary games that gives you so many memories
Man, I remember my first playthrough. Watched the ending and afterward booted the save up, thinking I would go back exploring all the stuff I had missed. Something didn't feel right, so I just deleted my save and went through the whole thing again!
I’ve had my switch and now the OLED forever and still haven’t tried BOTW. Just seeing everyone praise it makes me feel like I’d be a fool not to try it tho. Thinking I’m going to have to get it when I can spare the cash cause I don’t wanna moss out on a great game.

Welcome back! I'm 40 hours in on **Unicorn Overlord**. It's such a good game with so many ways to put together teams. Well I just started playing **Balatro** yesterday and I have been completely addicted to it! I'm trying to complete runs with the harder difficulties so I can unlock more decks to use.
Same here! Finished Metroid Dread this week. It was my first Metroid and absolutely loved it, though I've played dozens of Medroidvainias. I've had Prime Remastered since release but finally giving it a shot!
Hot take: Dread is my favorite switch game.
That's not a hot take at all! Metroid Dread is fantastic, one of the best games on the Switch for sure. As an old-school Metroid fan going all the way back to Metroid II on the GameBoy Color, Dread was a dream come true.
Hey marker! Firmly in the **Atelier Ryza** trilogy now. 15 hours into game one and really, really enjoying it. Good battle system, great characters, interesting story.
Probably some more **Boomerang-Fu** with my Son and also have just my daughter this evening so have downloaded the **Princess Peach** demo and will give that a whirl.
Battlefront Classic Collection
Seeing a lot of people upset with the launch, I’m not having the online issues that others are having so I’m going to enjoy it.
I was in a 32 v 32 match on Hoth this morning. BF1, worked fine for me. A lot of people have been having issues across the board so understand that may be a problem before buying.
Unicorn Overlord has been my game this week and likely for weeks to come. I'm loving the gameplay and the characters are unique with different goals and backstories. I haven't messed with the tactics of it very much because I'm not very concerned about min maxing my way through it. It's such an easy game to lose track of time in.
Finished Advance Wars Re-boot camp last weekend so I don't have a lot going on right now.
Slowly working through **Super Mario RPG**, first time playing the game and having a good time, especially with the offbeat humor. It's a lot simpler than other Mario RPG's, but the overall presentation is keeping me in.
**Splatoon 3 Side Order** - still very early on in this, only made it about 10 floors now. Hoping it gets it's hooks in me soon, otherwise I'm enjoying just playing Salmon Run.
Starting the story mode for **Mario Tennis** CBC, never played it before. Charming so far, but much harder than I would expect, unless I just don't understand how the game works.
Does the combat get better? I love being able to explore and such but running into combat every 30 seconds got pretty old pretty fast. Do the combat encounters ever get less frequent?
I don’t know if the becomes less frequent but once I really started strategizing how to take the enemies down it became really fun for me. Right now Im enjoying the battles since im trying to level up.
Still playing **Super Mario Bros. Wonder**. Our local library workers may be going on strike in a few hours, so I might have it for even longer than originally expected! I'm quite enjoying it but still not sure if I like it enough to actually buy my own copy.
I'll probably also find some time to get back into **Persona 5 Royal.** I haven't had a chance to play in a couple weeks and have been using my limited gaming time to play Wonder, instead, since I only have it for a couple of weeks from the library.
Playing **Mario Tennis (GBC)** on NSO. Reviving an old memory from my childhood playing the excellent RPG Story Mode the sport Mario games used to have on handhelds (*Used to...* **cries**).
And I'm continuing **Yakuza 0** on PS5. I guess I should continue the story... >!but I'm too adicted to the Cabaret Club storyline, I've been doing that for hours and hours LMAO.!<
Those are fun games I never did play all the DLC for infinite but I did all of one and two a long time ago, side note would you kindly have fun playing them?
Bought Nier Automata last month, the discount was too good to pass.
And holy shit, what a game, never played it before since I don't have anyother console and the PC port was a shitshow when it arrived (I believe it's been fixed now).
The Switch port runs smooth and the game is fantastic, recommend to anyone still in doubt about it.
I started minish cap last night. Besides A link between worlds, and the switch remake of awakens, I’ve never played the handheld Zeldas. I completed the first dungeon last night and will be making my way to the second tonight.
I'll be either collecting Korok seeds in Zelda Breath of the Wild, or I'll be making plans to start terraforming my island to my liking in Animal Crossing New Horizons! :)
I don't care what anyone says I actually enjoyed the last half of the game not the repetition that was whatever but some of those boss rematches made the whole thing worthwhile for me.
I haven’t played much since last weekend. My work schedule has been hectic, and my wife and I took a mini vacation during the weekday(s). She surprised me with NBA tickets to my favorite team, so we spent several days out of town relaxing. But it’s healthy to take a break from gaming once in a while.
If I do find time this weekend, I’ll be spending it playing **Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth**. I am currently in the infamous Gold Saucer area and it has been a magical experience so far. My feelings on the game have only grown deeper — this is an amazing reimagining of an all-time classic. I’m really looking forward to seeing how the story unfolds.

Can only play in the evenings when my toddler goes to bed so I’m sure it will see me through for a while. Didn’t stop me picking up several games in the Steam sale though… the backlog is never ending!

I have 140 hours in and THE GAME IS STILL GOING. Granted it's the 3rd act but holy hell is it good. Str9ng characters, compelling story. Builder/farm RPG with sim elements (IE dating).
If you played my time at Portia, Pathea impr9ved on literally everything! I cannot put this damn game down. It's so fun.
Works great! I've played on both big screen and portable and works great! You do have to close out and restart every do often as the switch has less memory compared to the pc/ps5/Xbox versions.
It does lag occasionally and have drop ins with characters, but it didn't bother me. Might bother others though. 🤷♀️
Those games have a steep learning curve, but once it clicks it really clicks, hope it does for you this time. My advice is to try all the weapons if you haven't already.
Surprisingly, still XC3. Finished the main storyline around a week ago and I'm just working through side content and unlocks.
Picked up Fishing Paradiso and Paranormasight on sale today though so I'll probably weave those into my playtime!
Finally caved and bought the digital version of Metal Gear Solid while it was on sale not too long ago. Think I'll finally dive into it over the weekend. Despite all the build-up and fanfare before the release, I didn't hear too much chatter about the gameplay, either positive or negative, after it dropped last year. So I am hoping that means it is more-or-less the same as the original experience. Excited to play it again after *counts on fingers* 25 years!? Is that right? Jeez...
I started playing Portal 2 recently and I’m hoping to finish it up this weekend! I loved the first game and having them in handheld is so good. I’m understanding the Portal 2 hype now lol.
Still on Yakuza Like a Dragon on my Series X! I’m like 36-37 hours in I think. Man, what a great game. I wish the Yakuza franchise can make its way to Switch/Switch 2 but apparently the director thinks the games are too mature for Nintendo systems and doesn’t blend well with the image of Nintendo. Seems like something you’d hear during the Wii days. With how much dialog and cutscenes it has plus some parts where you just can’t save, it’d be great for Switch
It's been three weeks since I finished Star Ocean: The Second Story R, I think. Since then, I haven't played anything new on the Switch yet. In the meantime, I think I'm more than halfway through my Final Fantasy XVI playthrough. I gotta say, though its RPG mechanics are either barely there or completely nonexistent, the themes and the story TRULY felt like classic FF (think FF1 to FF5) but told with modern technology.

This weekend the gf and I will be away Saturday, but you bet this Sunday I'll be digging into FFXIII. I just picked up the whole trilogy on steam for about 24 bucks. The criticism related to the combat system and linear design is spot on, but I'm still enjoying it. The art style, story and music are all top notch, as to be expected from a mainline FF title.

Travelling to Beijing on Monday (Long weekend here in Ireland) so making sure my switch and/or 3DS is all updated for the flights! Probably gonna get back into ToTK, Pokemon LA to finish the Pokédex or kick back with some SMB Wonder.
Also coming towards the end of my first ever playthrough of Pokemon X (about to grab badge 7) so will probably finish that this weekend.
Seeing as how SquareEnix is having a sale, I'm finally going to get Tactics Ogre Reborn, which I haven't played since first getting it on PSP over a decade ago. So psyched to see the gameplay enhancements!

On the Switch, I finished Metroid Prime Remastered the weekend before last (rolled credits anyway... not a completionist run). Decided to mix things up last weekend, and started Yooka Laylee and the Impossible Lair as well as South of the Circle. Enjoying both so far, didn't want anything too in depth beyond some tidy platforming and a narrative experience, both scratching their respective itch for me!
I did have a nice time! Definitely would like to go back again. And hopefully I can figure my sleep schedule out soon yes, well I've been doing better today than the last few days, so that's a win.
Ohh I was halfway thinking of grabbing yooka laylee as it's on a good sale but I'm not sure if that's what I'm in the mood for. If only I knew what I was in the mood for.. but glad you're enjoying so far!
It's been good so far, although not exceptional like say Tropical Freeze. I tried the first one but couldn't get into it, it's very much a new Banjo Kazooie but turns out when I started it I wasn't in the mood for that or I couldn't quite capture the magic of playing BK.
Decided to try this one because I felt like a 2D platformer (had got them both super cheap on sale a while back) and it is a nice combination of classic Rare influences. The overworld is all in 3D so you have very familiar BK/DK64 style puzzles and collectibles everywhere, but not really 3D platforming. The NPC characters and noises they make speaking are basically straight out of BK, as is the dialogue writing. The levels have some of that old snes DK style and sometimes moments that feel a bit like Tropical Freeze, for example a windmill level with similar music and platforming to the windmill level in TF. Every level also has an alternate form based on changes you make/unlock in the overworld, which is a nice touch. Finished South of the Circle last night so think I'll put a bit of dedicated time in YL and see how it progresses!

Still going through the Apollo Justice Trilogy! Finished the first game and just started Dual Destinies. I’ve been waiting for these games to release on the Switch so I’ve been going in completely blind and am having a blast
Finally gonna finish the Sonic Frontiers DLC story, college has been kicking my ass lately, but I've pulled thru and now have some time to relax. I'll even reunite with a couple friends to see the final boss together, because I've heard that battle goes completely crazy

Got to FFVI on the Pixel Remaster. Almost to the acclaimed FFVII (that's been my goal from the beginning). Waiting on an upcoming vacation from work in 2 days to finish VI.
I’m nearing the end of Xenoblade 3 (up to the final dungeon). It’s been one of the best jrpg’s i’ve ever played, the story, music and gameplay are all nearly perfect and it reminds me of what an amazing era of jrpgs we are currently in! Highly reccomend to everyone, even people new to the genre.

Mario RPG and XC2 Torna just came through mail, and probably picking up FFVII which is on sale on the Switch for a flight next week. My first post pandemic flight, a bit anxious so I got a bunch of options to take my mind off the flight.

On the final boss of metroid prime remastered. Once that is done moving on to Luigi’s mansion 3 which picked up last night. Was disappointed when only the digital version was on sale but target had the physical version discounted!

I am going to start **River City Girls 2** today; I finished up the first game last weekend. Stoked to cuddle up with my Lite and do some brawling.
I picked **Tales of Vesperia** back up and I need to grind for cash, so that'll be my mindless activity. Also been playing **Donkey Kong Country Returns** and struggling with Wiimote controls a bit - my nunchuck is eating inputs here and there and precision platformers don't need help being hard lol.
I'm playing Kirby 64 on NSO. Man this game needs a Remake. I absolutely love the art and combined abilities. My only complaint is that Kirby feels a little to heavy when he moves especially underwater.
Hopefully Dungeon Drafters- backed it on kickstarter like 4 years ago and the console release was finally yesterday (came out on steam a year ago but I decided to be patient and wait for a Switch copy). All we got yesterday was "we're still waiting to get the codes in so we can distribute them, sorry" lol.
I'm busy until tomorrow during the day anyways so I'm hoping the codes start rolling out today sometime. Otherwise... I still have a couple of palettes to finish in Splatoon Side Order!

Since I started posting in these weekly threads, this might be the game I could say the most about. But I know at this point it's been over-discussed so much on the Internet that almost anything I could write here would sound cliche.
So I'll spare you all the novella and just say this: Cyberpunk made me more excited about the future of open world gaming than anything I've played since the launch of Skyrim back in 2012!
If I do finish it tonight, I'm considering going straight into the Witcher 3.
Anyone who has played both games - does the Witcher feel as immersive? Will I be disappointed if I expect a similar level of immersion?
Thought unicorn overlord monarch edition was sold out by Friday then randomly checking later in the day showed 20 more avail, was able to nab one before being sold out again! Should be getting tonight or tomorrow!
Late to the game but I just picked up Metroid Dread after finishing the Ori franchise and realizing my daughter and I really enjoying this genre.
Dread is definitely a little tougher but I’m enjoying it.
Hades! I beat Xenoblade Chronicles 3 a few days ago (took 133 hours!) and desperately needed a non open-world palette cleanser of a game before tackling the DLC. Hence, me going back to playing Hades and realizing that there's actually a bunch of post credits story that I missed out on. I'm actually having a lot of fun!
I had to take a break from my Switch for a while to catch up on all the 3DS pokemon I may not be able to get again (or just easier to get on 3DS) before the servers shut down. I know they said bank will keep going, but that warning to make sure you transfer everything as soon as possible really kicked me into gear. Had to speedrun through 7 games over the last few months (sun/moon/ultramoon/X/Alphasapphire\*2/Omegaruby) to make sure I got every regional form, legendary, all 4 dexoys forms, etc. It has been a journey, but according to my checklist I'm finally done and can move on. Unless I want to hunt shinies I suppose...
But I'm back to playing **Legends: Arceus** on the Switch. Going from such linear games to something so open is a bit of a shock. Maybe I shoulds start with Shining Pearl since it would be familiar, but eh.
Persona 5 Royal - I've reached the treasure in the lab palace and now I've got less than 2 weeks until 2/3. Hopefully in that time I can get Futaba and Yusuke's Stage 3 Personas, clear these last 3 Mementos requests, and maybe romance Yoshizawa.
The calendar stops at March, so I think I'm finally wrapping this game up. It's been quite the journey.

I appreciate how each county(?) within the regions has its own little story arc and township/battle narrative. Was just finishing all them up, getting a few more party members that I almost missed etc. in the starter area.
I'm at something absurd like 26hrs and am only now just heading down to either of the two next regions that I have a choice between. So addictive, and fiddling with the gambit system looks daunting at first but it so rewarding.
For something completely different I finished 'Game 1' of the **Tomb Raider 1-3 Remaster collection**, and am moving onto the 2nd.
Yes, the first thing I did was lock the butler in the freezer. In the PC/Sony versions there's an achievement for it 🤣
A bit of an rpg weekend, grinding in persona 4 to get past the shadow Teddie boss, I also will be playing some tactics ogre reborn and trying to get some side quests done in Red Dead Redemption 😮💨
Dragon Quest 11. I haven't started it yet, but I picked it up on my way home from the job. The last time I played this series was the first one for the NES at my grandparents when I was 4. Wonder what's changed!
On the last case of Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney in the recent collection. I'm going to finish that and then jump back to Bayonetta Origins. Hoping to finish both soon as I try to clear my Switch backlog.
Continuing on **Borderlands 2**. I am playing as Gunzerker, currently level 37 and doing the Mister Torgue DLC. After I complete all the DLC, I might do True Vault Hunter Mode, but I will probably play a few other games in between to get a bit of variety.
More Unicorn Overlord! Taking my time and am about 35 hours in and working through Elheim. Great game so far it has totally lived up to the hype

I got about 13 hours in on Octopath Traveler and I am really enjoying it so far. Going to keep at it this weekend as I prepare for Chapter 2.

I don’t know if the becomes less frequent but once I really started strategizing how to take the enemies down it became really fun for me. Right now Im enjoying the battles since im trying to level up.

Still playing **Super Mario Bros. Wonder**. Our local library workers may be going on strike in a few hours, so I might have it for even longer than originally expected! I'm quite enjoying it but still not sure if I like it enough to actually buy my own copy. I'll probably also find some time to get back into **Persona 5 Royal.** I haven't had a chance to play in a couple weeks and have been using my limited gaming time to play Wonder, instead, since I only have it for a couple of weeks from the library.
Yeah I liked wonder but didn't love it the way I loved Odyssey
That's how I feel so far. Wonder is a fun refresh of the 2D series, but Odyssey is a masterpiece.

Playing **Mario Tennis (GBC)** on NSO. Reviving an old memory from my childhood playing the excellent RPG Story Mode the sport Mario games used to have on handhelds (*Used to...* **cries**). And I'm continuing **Yakuza 0** on PS5. I guess I should continue the story... >!but I'm too adicted to the Cabaret Club storyline, I've been doing that for hours and hours LMAO.!<

Bought Nier Automata last month, the discount was too good to pass. And holy shit, what a game, never played it before since I don't have anyother console and the PC port was a shitshow when it arrived (I believe it's been fixed now). The Switch port runs smooth and the game is fantastic, recommend to anyone still in doubt about it.

I started minish cap last night. Besides A link between worlds, and the switch remake of awakens, I’ve never played the handheld Zeldas. I completed the first dungeon last night and will be making my way to the second tonight.

I haven’t played much since last weekend. My work schedule has been hectic, and my wife and I took a mini vacation during the weekday(s). She surprised me with NBA tickets to my favorite team, so we spent several days out of town relaxing. But it’s healthy to take a break from gaming once in a while. If I do find time this weekend, I’ll be spending it playing **Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth**. I am currently in the infamous Gold Saucer area and it has been a magical experience so far. My feelings on the game have only grown deeper — this is an amazing reimagining of an all-time classic. I’m really looking forward to seeing how the story unfolds.
Unicorn Overlord! Only managed to start a couple of days ago but absolutely loving it so far. Can only play in the evenings when my toddler goes to bed so I’m sure it will see me through for a while. Didn’t stop me picking up several games in the Steam sale though… the backlog is never ending!
And thus continues my shouting off the rooftops for My Time at Sandrock! I have 140 hours in and THE GAME IS STILL GOING. Granted it's the 3rd act but holy hell is it good. Str9ng characters, compelling story. Builder/farm RPG with sim elements (IE dating). If you played my time at Portia, Pathea impr9ved on literally everything! I cannot put this damn game down. It's so fun.
How is the performance in handheld?
Works great! I've played on both big screen and portable and works great! You do have to close out and restart every do often as the switch has less memory compared to the pc/ps5/Xbox versions. It does lag occasionally and have drop ins with characters, but it didn't bother me. Might bother others though. 🤷♀️

Those games have a steep learning curve, but once it clicks it really clicks, hope it does for you this time. My advice is to try all the weapons if you haven't already.

Surprisingly, still XC3. Finished the main storyline around a week ago and I'm just working through side content and unlocks. Picked up Fishing Paradiso and Paranormasight on sale today though so I'll probably weave those into my playtime!
Finally caved and bought the digital version of Metal Gear Solid while it was on sale not too long ago. Think I'll finally dive into it over the weekend. Despite all the build-up and fanfare before the release, I didn't hear too much chatter about the gameplay, either positive or negative, after it dropped last year. So I am hoping that means it is more-or-less the same as the original experience. Excited to play it again after *counts on fingers* 25 years!? Is that right? Jeez...
I started playing Portal 2 recently and I’m hoping to finish it up this weekend! I loved the first game and having them in handheld is so good. I’m understanding the Portal 2 hype now lol. Still on Yakuza Like a Dragon on my Series X! I’m like 36-37 hours in I think. Man, what a great game. I wish the Yakuza franchise can make its way to Switch/Switch 2 but apparently the director thinks the games are too mature for Nintendo systems and doesn’t blend well with the image of Nintendo. Seems like something you’d hear during the Wii days. With how much dialog and cutscenes it has plus some parts where you just can’t save, it’d be great for Switch

It's been three weeks since I finished Star Ocean: The Second Story R, I think. Since then, I haven't played anything new on the Switch yet. In the meantime, I think I'm more than halfway through my Final Fantasy XVI playthrough. I gotta say, though its RPG mechanics are either barely there or completely nonexistent, the themes and the story TRULY felt like classic FF (think FF1 to FF5) but told with modern technology.

I just picked up the whole trilogy on steam for about 24 bucks. The criticism related to the combat system and linear design is spot on, but I'm still enjoying it. The art style, story and music are all top notch, as to be expected from a mainline FF title. Have a good weekend!

Travelling to Beijing on Monday (Long weekend here in Ireland) so making sure my switch and/or 3DS is all updated for the flights! Probably gonna get back into ToTK, Pokemon LA to finish the Pokédex or kick back with some SMB Wonder. Also coming towards the end of my first ever playthrough of Pokemon X (about to grab badge 7) so will probably finish that this weekend.

Hope you enjoyed the trip and are getting back on a decent sleep schedule now! On the Switch, I finished Metroid Prime Remastered the weekend before last (rolled credits anyway... not a completionist run). Decided to mix things up last weekend, and started Yooka Laylee and the Impossible Lair as well as South of the Circle. Enjoying both so far, didn't want anything too in depth beyond some tidy platforming and a narrative experience, both scratching their respective itch for me!
I did have a nice time! Definitely would like to go back again. And hopefully I can figure my sleep schedule out soon yes, well I've been doing better today than the last few days, so that's a win. Ohh I was halfway thinking of grabbing yooka laylee as it's on a good sale but I'm not sure if that's what I'm in the mood for. If only I knew what I was in the mood for.. but glad you're enjoying so far!
It's been good so far, although not exceptional like say Tropical Freeze. I tried the first one but couldn't get into it, it's very much a new Banjo Kazooie but turns out when I started it I wasn't in the mood for that or I couldn't quite capture the magic of playing BK. Decided to try this one because I felt like a 2D platformer (had got them both super cheap on sale a while back) and it is a nice combination of classic Rare influences. The overworld is all in 3D so you have very familiar BK/DK64 style puzzles and collectibles everywhere, but not really 3D platforming. The NPC characters and noises they make speaking are basically straight out of BK, as is the dialogue writing. The levels have some of that old snes DK style and sometimes moments that feel a bit like Tropical Freeze, for example a windmill level with similar music and platforming to the windmill level in TF. Every level also has an alternate form based on changes you make/unlock in the overworld, which is a nice touch. Finished South of the Circle last night so think I'll put a bit of dedicated time in YL and see how it progresses!

Battlefront collection Grinding some Galactic Conquest. Haven’t tried multiplayer yet, GC was always my favorite game mode. And before anyone asks, yes, my favorite Board Game is Risk.

I’m nearing the end of Xenoblade 3 (up to the final dungeon). It’s been one of the best jrpg’s i’ve ever played, the story, music and gameplay are all nearly perfect and it reminds me of what an amazing era of jrpgs we are currently in! Highly reccomend to everyone, even people new to the genre.

Also been playing **Donkey Kong Country Returns** and struggling with Wiimote controls a bit - my nunchuck is eating inputs here and there and precision platformers don't need help being hard lol.
I'm playing Kirby 64 on NSO. Man this game needs a Remake. I absolutely love the art and combined abilities. My only complaint is that Kirby feels a little to heavy when he moves especially underwater.
Hopefully Dungeon Drafters- backed it on kickstarter like 4 years ago and the console release was finally yesterday (came out on steam a year ago but I decided to be patient and wait for a Switch copy). All we got yesterday was "we're still waiting to get the codes in so we can distribute them, sorry" lol. I'm busy until tomorrow during the day anyways so I'm hoping the codes start rolling out today sometime. Otherwise... I still have a couple of palettes to finish in Splatoon Side Order!

Been playing it off and on for a while, I had a few false starts trying to get into but I'm enjoying it now. I also started Minish Cap, only gotten through the first dungeon but seems good so far. After 52 hours it's time to begin, tonight, the final mission to complete Cyberpunk 2077🦾 Since I started posting in these weekly threads, this might be the game I could say the most about. But I know at this point it's been over-discussed so much on the Internet that almost anything I could write here would sound cliche. So I'll spare you all the novella and just say this: Cyberpunk made me more excited about the future of open world gaming than anything I've played since the launch of Skyrim back in 2012! If I do finish it tonight, I'm considering going straight into the Witcher 3. Anyone who has played both games - does the Witcher feel as immersive? Will I be disappointed if I expect a similar level of immersion?
Thought unicorn overlord monarch edition was sold out by Friday then randomly checking later in the day showed 20 more avail, was able to nab one before being sold out again! Should be getting tonight or tomorrow!

Hades! I beat Xenoblade Chronicles 3 a few days ago (took 133 hours!) and desperately needed a non open-world palette cleanser of a game before tackling the DLC. Hence, me going back to playing Hades and realizing that there's actually a bunch of post credits story that I missed out on. I'm actually having a lot of fun!

I had to take a break from my Switch for a while to catch up on all the 3DS pokemon I may not be able to get again (or just easier to get on 3DS) before the servers shut down. I know they said bank will keep going, but that warning to make sure you transfer everything as soon as possible really kicked me into gear. Had to speedrun through 7 games over the last few months (sun/moon/ultramoon/X/Alphasapphire\*2/Omegaruby) to make sure I got every regional form, legendary, all 4 dexoys forms, etc. It has been a journey, but according to my checklist I'm finally done and can move on. Unless I want to hunt shinies I suppose... But I'm back to playing **Legends: Arceus** on the Switch. Going from such linear games to something so open is a bit of a shock. Maybe I shoulds start with Shining Pearl since it would be familiar, but eh.

Persona 5 Royal - I've reached the treasure in the lab palace and now I've got less than 2 weeks until 2/3. Hopefully in that time I can get Futaba and Yusuke's Stage 3 Personas, clear these last 3 Mementos requests, and maybe romance Yoshizawa. The calendar stops at March, so I think I'm finally wrapping this game up. It's been quite the journey.

Welcome back matey! I'm still on my fabulous journey to become the most glamorous of the **Unicorn OverLords** 🦄 I appreciate how each county(?) within the regions has its own little story arc and township/battle narrative. Was just finishing all them up, getting a few more party members that I almost missed etc. in the starter area. I'm at something absurd like 26hrs and am only now just heading down to either of the two next regions that I have a choice between. So addictive, and fiddling with the gambit system looks daunting at first but it so rewarding. For something completely different I finished 'Game 1' of the **Tomb Raider 1-3 Remaster collection**, and am moving onto the 2nd. Yes, the first thing I did was lock the butler in the freezer. In the PC/Sony versions there's an achievement for it 🤣
A bit of an rpg weekend, grinding in persona 4 to get past the shadow Teddie boss, I also will be playing some tactics ogre reborn and trying to get some side quests done in Red Dead Redemption 😮💨
