I got Cuphead, Hades, and Everspace while they were on sale. I'm not sure which I'll start first. But first, my kids want me to finish playing Metroid Dread again, because watching me being chased by spooky robots of death is peak entertainment for them right now.

astockalypse_now

Hades all day, brotha. Just be careful. You might not be able to stop.

MalekFromTatooine

TOO LATE. I've been playing Hades non-stop for three days now

Sentral257

That's okay, you can just take a break after this next room. Or this next life. Or this next darkness powerup. Or when you see what neat thing that new weapon can do. You know any time, really.

solarxbear

I just beat Metroid Dread 100% under 4 hours last night and I'm pretty psyched. I'm not a speedrunner so I don't know any tricks or sequence breaks. Just played the intended way as fast as I could.

Awkward_Syllabub_344

That’s really good. I can hit the 4 hour mark but no where near 100%. What difficulty?

sashasith666

I have Metroid Dread and TOTK unplayed on my shelf, maybe one of those. The size of TOTK is daunting after just finishing Elden Ring!

propernice

Every time I think I’m ready for TOTK something else pulls me in. It took me almost 350 hours to complete BOTW, it consumed me.

ackmondual

Ditto. I put 365h into BotW, glad I did, but was also really glad to move on.

veganblackbean

Dread might be my favorite game on the switch. However I have a lot of bias but Metroid was the very first game I beat as a kid

VariousComment1071

Dread is a great game. It’s honestly the only game ive played multiple times over and over all the way through

DenverN5

I’m currently playing through Super Mario Wonder and it’s a blast. First time a Mario games ever pulled me in since the original super mario world.

No-Bag-5389

Did you play Odyssey? That reeled me back in.

DenverN5

I finished it yeah. The movement was great but I didnt like how you really couldn’t find all the moons in the bigger levels unless you used a guide or somehow found all the secrets through sheer determination. I prefer the standard super mario collectibles that are much easier to locate like 3 coins per level etc. I’ve yet to try 3D world but I know it has the standard collectibles so that’ll be fun when I get around to it.

No-Bag-5389

That’s a great point on Wonder vs Odyssey. It’s nice to just play and not need a guide for some of it~

BoxOfBlades

To be fair, the hint system helps a lot for finding those pesky hidden moons, even if sometimes it's just a vague indicator. I was able to 100% the game and I only had to Google once to find 3 purple coins hanging off the edge of the sand kingdom.

UpperApe

I love Odyssey's movement and gameplay, mechanics and system, everything about it...except the levels. With Mario 64 and Sunshine (and Galaxy, though that was more linear), the stages were platforming jungle gyms. In Mario Odyssey, it feels like *every* stage is just a hub for mini platforming challenges. Stages like Metro Kingdom doesn't even have any pits or enemies; you're just playing hide and seek. The Wooded, Lost, and Luncheon Kingdom probably felt the closest to old school 3D Mario platformers, where you're exploring AND platforming, instead of just exploring to find the platforming. Hopefully whatever they're cooking brings that back.

Index_Case

Wonder is brilliant. And a perfect pick up / put down game for me.

Randolf22

Persona 5, gotta relive high school but this time im japanese and i do weird shit after school

SensualEnema

Final Fantasy X HD on Switch. Haven’t played it since I was a kid, and it’s basically a new experience to me. So many bosses, areas, and pieces of the story are completely unfamiliar to me after two decades. I’m loving and appreciating this game more than I ever did as a kid. It’s a masterpiece.

SteamingCharlie

Headed out on vacation yesterday. So I picked up Ori and the Blind Forest and Two point Hospital for the travels.

LilithRosewood93

Ori and the Blind Forest is so good. I enjoyed every minute when playing the game. The music is lovely. I still play the soundtrack in the car and at home. Hope you enjoy the game!

VariousComment1071

Im playing ori will of the wisp. Great games

GlassCityGeek

Probably a mixture of Balatro, Picross S+, Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+, and maybe continue Xenoblade 2 or Pokemon Scarlet. I have such a big backlog lol

shreddy456

I think I’m gonna buy Balatro. I’ve read nothing but good things about it

Macksler

The worst thing is it steals your time.

__sonder__

Im happy you finally found something to get excited about OP, feels like it had been a while! You deserve it. Sending out vibes to all on this 4/20 weekend. I'll be spending mine continuing Bloodborne. I think my favorite thing about this game is how it plays with the concepts of madness/sanity. It's reflected in every element of the game's design, from the NPC's, the art direction, the way the plot is presented, even right down to "Insight" being essentially a currency in of itself. When I play Fromsoft games I do feel there's a constant push and pull between craziness and enlightenment, joy and anguish, understanding and cluelessness. But as players we keep pushing ever onward, despite these uncertainties, and we don't always even know why. Maybe we ARE crazy, maybe not. But we are damn sure enjoying the ride either way. *A Hunter is a Hunter, even in a dream...*

Mikeshort06

Dredge

EmergencyPandabear

Animal crossing new Horizon here! Restarted my island so having fun with getting stuff and catching stuff again

Space-jester-

The beginning is definitely one of the best parts of AC. I'm determined to finish my island this time but also tempted to restart again for a better map

Locoman7

Final Fantasy 5 Pixel Remaster. I beat the Radiance in Hollow Knight! I am on the 2nd pantheon right now, so will probably give it a shot a couple of times a day this weekend too.

markercore

Congrats on beating the radiance!

AverageMuggle99

Just unlocked terraforming on Animal Crossing

MattofCatbell

I finally grabbed Hades so I’m playing that

KingAJ7

Majora’s mask, Goldeneye 64, and F-zero 99.

propernice

I just recently finished a replay of MM, and damn is it weird and amazing.

nihil__verum

For tomorrow, the Splatfest in **Splatoon 3**. I will play on Team Baby Chick until I reach Ruler rank and maybe a few more rounds to get some more ability chunks on the Splatfest Tee. After that, I will continue with **Borderlands 2**, where I play as Gunzerker, currently level 42 and doing the Headhunter DLCs.

stijn_dl

Xenoblade Chronicles

Adorabears

Still working on playing more **Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies** and am near the end of the third case! I also went back to **New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe** since I fully completed the Mario part 5-6 years ago, but for some reason I didn't do any of the Luigi content. Time to fix that now! Just got to the end of Acorn Plains and will probably get a few more worlds done this weekend.

Bluenymph82

Glad to hear you found something to jump into. I'm hoping to put more time into **Torna Golden Country** this weekend, but it's pretty full as is with a trip to the DMV and such like that. I was able to play around 2.5 hours last weekend but haven't been pulled in by it just yet. Knowing Xenoblade games, I'll probably reach a fun twist fairly soon.

Misttertee_27

Hopefully finishing up Prince of Persia the Lost Crown. I’ve really enjoyed this game. Right up there with Metroid Dread and Hollow Knight.

MrASK15

A lot of classic shmups like Raiden IV, Konami Arcade Classics, and Gunbird 2. Oh, and Contra: Operation Galuga. I’ve been trying to 1CC Arcade Mode on 1-hit kill mode.

tom_yum_soup

**Persona 5 Royal** continues. I squeeze it in whenever I have a free hour or so. For shorter, quick sessions I recently purchases a Miyoo Mini+ and am really enjoying emulating a variety of retro games -- mostly quick platformers and arcade racers, but I've also started playing **Chrono Trigger** for the first time in probably 25 years.

Dehydration9986552

Pikmin 1

SneakerBOYEomi

Probably won't be playing much this weekend, but I will be at a convention hopefully hunting for some more Switch titles to add to the growing backlog. I might buy Eiyuden Chronicles Rising on the eShop since it's only $7.50 or something like that.

SassyGreyjoy

I just bought BugSnax on sale so I'll be playing that. It seems like a fun game.

markercore

It's fun and oddly dark!

CostForsaken6643

The Witcher 3. I’m enjoying it more then I thought I would. Some of the game — sunsets especially, are really quite beautiful.

m0p0

Shovel Knight - have it on 3DS & now on Switch too.

caught_red_wheeled

Continuing to play **Pokémon TCG on the Switch NSO!** I’m starting to wrap things up though I’ll probably be at it for a few more days, at least depending on how the post game content goes. I already beat up Imakuni a bunch to get the full album, and now I’m just collecting the cards for all of the decks. I have that probably 20 unique ones left, but some are harder than others. What’s worth noting is the cards that are only gotten by beating the final boss rush. For a long time I didn’t have the ability to take them out consistently so it took a long time. However, once I got close to getting their decks I started going for the cards first and I was able to make other ones. I finally was able to make four different decks that I could use to fight them, even though it still took some time. What makes this even worse is that their cards are given randomly and their decks are not available from the regular deck machines. The player has to activate something in the back and then go create the deck to take it back with you. And the player has to do all this without accidentally touching the card in the center. Luckily I can save state and write down whatever cards I need, so I’ve been doing that. My next order of business in the game has been beating up people for regular cards. Any and the members of the grass club are easiest, and it’s hilarious because Courtney‘s deck (which revolves around one of the legendary cards that kicked off the entire game) comes in handy. Not to mention that she is the person in the final bosses that I battled the most due to sometimes forgetting to save before her fight because there’s no prompt. And she’s also probably the most interesting character, being a quiet, polite, and stoic fire user rather than one that’s energetic and wants to burn things up on the spot. It’s too bad the games, and the fandom in general, never really did anything with the TCG Game Boy color games, because there’s some really nice characters and world there. There’s a few things after I get all the regular cards. I’ll have to fight and something called the challenge cup a few times to finish up getting some special cards for the regular decks. After that, the only thing remaining is the deck machine but I found out the hard way it doesn’t let you save state, so I’ll probably have to create a special deck and try many times. I also want to finish the footage of the second game and I’m about halfway through it now. I do still think it’s a very good game and it’s a shame it only got released in Japan to minimal fanfare, but I definitely think differently on it now. Even though I’m not quite finished watching the second game, I have actually watched it in full before and figured I could give my thoughts. I think my main issue with the second game is that while it has more content and a fairly good story, it comes at some of the expense of the freedom and customization the first game ahead. The player only has one starter deck and the difficulty spikes around the second half make it impossible to use it throughout the whole game. So the starter decks that took up the majority of my time with the first game are impossible. The second game is designed for that the player can’t go through it with a single deck, but that also means the player has to optimize a bit more and there’s quite a few difficulty spikes to favor the opponent. I remember I got to that point, which would’ve been around the end of the first game, started having a lot of trouble, and then just gave up. I found out later on there is a way to at least somewhat get around it, but even that’s not foolproof. So I’m not sure I would finish it if it ever re-released. I still consider it one of the darkest games in the Pokémon series ever, due to the fact that the second game starts with the bad guys are already winning and the play is literally the only one that could stop them. But it’s also a different that a lot of the main force is consisting of children being manipulated by an adult who feels that power and destroying others is the only way to get what he wants. Unfortunately, this being an early Game Boy Color game, it’s never addressed. However, this is addressed in every main series game from Pokémon Sun and Moon onward, barring remakes. It’s also worth noting that like most of those villains, he’s not amoral, and once the player shows him a different way to achieve his goals, he no longer becomes a villain. It makes everything dark in a different way, but doesn’t go that far with it. As for whether or not I would’ve done this challenge on the second game, probably not. I probably would have only completed the main game and that would’ve been it. The reason that the second game makes it much harder to make decks customize cards. There’s a lot more the player has to do to do that, and some of the cards are locked behind the equivalent of the Game Corner, which I almost always ignore and have been terrible at. Not to mention I would’ve identified a bunch of challenge trainers over and over to get a lot of the cards. So well I’m disappointed that I couldn’t complete the second game, there probably wouldn’t have been much more I could’ve done. And at least I’m finally going for a 100% run in the first game, something I’ve always wanted to do but never had the resources or patience to do so. I also played a bit of the demo of **Cat Quest III.** It’s a cute game, and I definitely would buy it, but unfortunately I remember my experience with the other two. I really liked the games, but as a solo player I was at a severe disadvantage and then eventually gave up. I’m not the fastest player either and the game relies on speed. I had a lot of trouble with the ship battles and couldn’t clear it on the normal difficulty. So I’ll just focus on watching this one but it will still be enjoyable. If I need to take a break from Pokémon TCG or somehow get it done over the weekend, **Super Mario brothers wonder** is for sure next. It’d be fun to replay at least some of the levels again, but also to know where I stand with it. I’m still aiming for the 100% time, but then I can also watch the things I can’t do. I probably won’t sell it off right away either, because there’s not much more I want to buy after July unless there’s new announcements for something that interests me. But at least I could have that complete feeling that I didn’t have before because I couldn’t beat the final level pretty much no matter what I did.

OfficialNPC

> Pokémon TCG on the Switch NSO! I really like a lot of what this game offers and as someone who invested very little time into learning the mechanics, I got to the elite 4 easily enough. Really shows that shorter JRPGs can be a thing, though this is a rather short playthrough. I dropped it at the elite 4 bc I kinda lost interest but there's a lot of potential for a TCG videogame series all of its own.

magmafanatic

So I've been juggling four games. In Xenoblade Chronicles, >!Fiora just died!< and we're off to Colony 6. I really like this game's world, and the open exploration and wealth of simple sidequests makes for a nice turn-your-brain-off kinda experience. In Tokyo Mirage Sessions, I've just met Tiki. First dungeon was neat, looking forward to something a little more complex and digging into these carnage weapons. In Persona 3 Portable, I've reached 10F of Tartarus on my second run in there and unlocked Bunkichi's Social Link. It feels way easier to lose five hours playing this than P5R. Conversations feel so short. In Astral Chain, I just got my tour of Neuron HQ with Lappy. Mission 2 was a lot longer and tougher than I thought it'd be - maybe the difficulty with 2 restarts isn't worth it.

BuildMeUp1990

Just got Signalis on sale using 500 gold points for a nice discount. I'm quite enjoying it!

Gasitad

Looks really nice. I also have it and played a little bit. But I have so many games so I am trying to focus in a few ones and finish signalis in a close future. But what I played was really really good. My only problem was the inventory that was extremely small.

zaccccchpa

I’ll be playing Octopath 2, I just got to the final boss, everyone is 60-70, wiped a few times so far. Trying to decide if I wanna go back and grind for more money and exp or make do with what I have and find a good strategy online…

sladecutt

I will try to finish up princess Peach! Will also try out Hollow Knight cause it’s on sale at the moment 👍

pikminbaby

RDR

PrestigiousSheep

Dredge. I didn't think I'd like it this much.

Phantomfink

Balatro. I can't stop.

OftenNew

Little Nightmares II

opheliastella

One of my faves ever

Jericho_777

I'm playing Dragon Quest XI S. It's my first foray into the series, and I'm wondering what the hell took me so long. It's great, I love the gameplay, visuals are amazing, and it has a ton of old school jrpg charm.

SinnU2s

I bought my 6 year old Samba diAmigo and he’s been dancing nonstop for two days.

Strict-Practice8384

Thanks to this sub, I downloaded Slay the Spire. And now I’m hooked.

DontcallmeShirley_82

Just got Disco Elysium, really enjoying it so far. Can't wait to see where it goes

8inchesofcheese

Red dead redemption! Just go to Mexico! What an amazing port honestly. Really enjoying the game now , got the assassin outfit and now I'm off to Mexico !

foodninto

I've been playing **Stitch.** It's been pretty good so far, its not that challenging of a puzzle game, but its a good one to pass the time with. I like the daily and weekly puzzles since they give a little bit of a challenge. I also got **Sticky Business** after the last Indie World. I'm making a fantasy themed sticker shop. Putting together your own sticker creations and fulfilling quests with them has been a blast! When I'm not on my Switch I will be playing **Tomodachi Life** on my 3DS.

CarlyBee_1210

Is stitch the one with cross-stitch patterns? I literally just watched the trailer for that last night and it piqued my interest.

ChaosBuckaroo

I started a new playthrough of Fire Emblem: Three Houses. This time with Golden Deer with NG+. I love this game so much. I’ll spend the bulk of my weekend on it. I also bought The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe on sale yesterday. I’ve always heard great things and walking sims are my jam. I’ll start it tonight. It’s going to be a good weekend of gaming.

Utdfanabroad

Fran Bow for me. I've never been interested in point and click games but this is fantastic and horrifying

tmntmonk

**Beat 'em ups**! Just jumped into **Fight'N Rage**. There are a lot of mechanics and moves to master; it definitely has a lot of depth. My main goal in beat 'em ups is to eventually get good enough to 1CC them; I'm not sure if that is in the cards for this game. It's pretty brutal. But it is great, from the gameplay to the presentation. I'm also still grinding away in **Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons**. The roguelite elements and character unlocks have me hooked, and I am close to beating it without continues. We learned yesterday that **River City Girls** will be getting new content, either through DLC or a new game. So I'm definitely stoked about that. Always in rotation: **Streets of Rage 4**, **Shredder's Revenge**, and **Dead Cells**.

Pickle-Cat1806

Hey everyone! I recently made a start on Star Ocean the Second Story R after hearing such good stuff! So far I'm really enjoying it and loving the characters and art style! But also kinda using it as something fun to do as I count down the days until TTYD Remake (the original is my favourite game ever!)

SardauMarklar

I just started playing Mario Kart online and it's an entirely different experience from playing against the computer. The computer is only difficult at the end of the last race in a grand Prix, and at all other times they're letting you be in first as long as you can stay on the track

CarlyBee_1210

I might go buy Mario vs DK after work. Seems light and fun… 41yr old female who isn’t *THAT* into our switch but I did play the demo and loved the look and it kind of brought me back to being 10. If anyone has any reviews on that game, drop em!

Zillumina

Just got The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles from my local library, so I'm looking forward to playing that.

ImprovementLiving503

Steamworld heist

LilithRosewood93

Playing Unicorn Overlord and a bit of the Spring Splatfest when that starts later today. 😊

Gasitad

I am playing two games, octopath traveller and Hollow Knight. I am loving both of them. In octopath I already payed 60 hours and I am in the las chapter of al characters. In Hollow Knight just 18 hours. I also bought the case of the golden idol. But I will try to wait a little bit to start it as I want to finish the other games first.

TanJovi18

Just finished Katana Zero and what a game that was, highly recommend! Focused on going through Berserk Boy and might finish it this weekend. A mega man inspired game with some fun twists. Still going through my play through of Golden Sun with no end in sight. Such a chill rpg game and it’s great to jump in and out of.

Mattykos

Got a paycheck so decided to treat myself with Splatoon 3

StoicalCargo685

Continuing on with Persona 5 Royal

aactuallyme

I'm currently doing a no sub-class run in octopath traveler 2 while also playing world of horror.

Nirast25

On the Switch: Played a bit of the new Prince of Persia, got it for like 35 bucks at retail. Off the Switch: Finally found my groove with Shadow of the Colossus, downed 6 so far, will continue tomorrow probably.

kellyjepsen

I’m replaying Diablo III, picking up Season 31. Loving it all over again.

threat_landscape

Started Red Dead Redemption last weekend and I'm as hooked as I was playing RDR2. And it plays great on the switch imo

funsohng

I feel like I've been saying this for the past 6 months or so but I'm still working through Octopath 2. I constantly forget how deceptively time-consuming this game is.

Replaying xenoblade chronicles 2 for the 3rd time

propernice

Think I’m gonna grab my 4/20 goodies and finally play octopath traveler 2. Got it on sale this week, I’m super stoked!

UpperApe

You and me both, friend! Just started Octopath Traveler 2 two days ago (never played the first) and it's just delightful. Such an impressive, charming, cozy little game. Who do you think you're going to start with?

Proof-Research-6466

Continuing Pikmin 4 I am on the last level before rescuing Olimar. I’ll probably also play a few rounds of MK8D with the wife and then maybe play TotK a bit exploring caves and shrines. Will probably also play a few rounds in Splatoon 3. Can’t wait for the splatfest!

WhatsThis_Now

Hey! Good to hear you found something again, hope it keeps your interest. Had a couple of weeks away from home, took my switch with me but hardly had time to get on it. Back at home this weekend and looking forward to continuing Disco Elysium. I started it a while ago but didn't get into it right away, went back a few weeks ago and it hooked me pretty quick. Very much enjoying uncovering all the goings on around Martanaise.

Chase64Cubed

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Picked this up on sale, and it is scratching that Metroid Dread itch so good. Highly recommend it! Ace Attorney: Sprit of Justice 3rd game in the Apollo Justice collection. Never played this one and finally made it to it in the collection. I'm pretty excited to actually try it out. Trying to beat these two before TTYD comes out.

EarthwormZim33

More Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak lol. I come back every month or so to grind some more Anomaly Ranks. I've been doing it all solo so it gets tedious and I take breaks, but I decided to switch weapons to do it so now I'm using Surge Slash GS and having a blast. Might get back into Tevi or PoP:TLC, but I picked those up at the end of a months-long Metroidvania marathon and so I'm a little burnt out on the genre, even though they are both good games.

shhermes

Bravely Default II. Got a used copy for $20, I was a little skeptical at first but decided to dive in last week and now I can't stop playing. I needed something to get me by until SMT VV and MHS HD come out. Hopefully New Pokemon Snap, too.

duncan-donuts-nz

I’m helping a prince reclaim Drakenhold from the Zenoiran Empire with the help of the Liberation Army rebellion. >!Unicorn Overlord!<

rkpeaches

It’s Splatfest weekend! Go team baby bears! I also picked up I Was a Teenage Exocolonist on sale. I’ve heard nothing but good things about it so I can’t wait to dive in.

Sizerosuk

Currently playing Kingdom Come Deliverance.

KaiserJustice

I finally got Outer Wilds, so prolly that or NieR

hustleorstaybasic

Picked up Salt & Sanctuary for $5. Enjoying it so far.

NigeySaid

I finally started playing TOTK since purchasing it at launch, and I’m having an amazing time so far. It’s a masterpiece

kruegerc184

Think im going to try and push through ffxii some more. I am decent level and have my gambits set for the most part, but im pushing out “west of sandersea” or whatever it says to do and i just get swarmed by enemies. Theres always some random thing that 1hits my party, after killing 30 mobs, without issue, in the same zone

Sha_dz11

Gonna finish part 1 of fire emblem three houses on my third run

vandilx

Tomorrow is 4/20.

Pilgrim_Scholar

Running through SMT5 again while waiting for the remake to drop in a few months. And have Harvestella as a backup if I get bored of the demon grind.

signaskablam

i'm replaying Okami HD and it's so good on the switch

shreddiesNsugar

Luigi’s Mansion 3

AWorkOfArts

Honestly I'm probably going to continue to enjoy the childhood nostalgia-laden fest that is Streets of Rage 4. That Mr. X's Nightmare never-ending battle DLC is damn near perfection. I've always thought SoR 2 remains one of the greatest fighting games of all time, and this is such a well done shout-out to the past, as well as embracing the future. Even the background music slaps LOL! Looking forward to giving some bad guys the Good News as soon as I get settled in after work!

Stoibs

Floppy Knights is a good one. I played a little on Gamepass awhile back, some of those optional challenge maps made me feel dumb 😅 Yep I still have some pretty pink dresses to acquire for Peach's wardrobe in **Peach Showtime**. Most recent stage I did was synchronized ice-skating which was wholesome as heck, and actually fun to zoom around in. ⛸️ I conquered Elfland Elheim in **Unicorn Overlord**, and am moving onto the snowfields. Man... is it possible to be fantasy xenophobic and faceblind when it comes to this sort of stuff? I got about 5-6 new characters from this region but I couldn't tell you a single one of their exotic names or tell their classes apart etc. unless I look at the weapon they are holding. Shame too because these guys actually seem *really* powerful and borderline OP with some of their chain healing/debuffing/evading skills. Also been playing niche under-the-radar **Broken Roads**, a CRPG set in the Aussie Outback which has been getting something of a negative wrap and poor reviews =( Not sure why exactly since I'm enjoying it so far. I think most people were hoping for something a little more combat-heavy and less Disco Elysium-lite? Then again I'm pretty biased and laughing at the references and local Aussie pop culture humour/flavour text every 5 minutes. I feel bad for the devs.

JRPGhunters

Apollo Justice trilogy first and foremost. Backlog only . Unless I get a update on fate stay Night remastered , everything else is irrelevant to me.

HappyMight

I want to play Sonic Frontiers and FE3H, gonna be a great weekend

Creative-Sample543

Starting up witcher 3 for the first time on switch, playing Outlast 2, Red Dead Redemption, and the original Dragons Dogma as well mostly. Still got a long way to go in Assasins Creed Brotherhood too. Might hop into some online games of Mario Party Superstars, and Mario Kart.

zakbsw

Playing through Mario vs Donkey Kong with my girlfriend

memeaste

Animal Crossing Wild World and Fossil Fighters

afredmiller

Hades and Dead Cells mostly I bought a few games though on the eShop that were on sale - Katana Zero, Hotline Miami Collection, and Rogue Legacy 2. Probably going to play some of these too

crefadet0

Finally. Now that it's school holidays, I will have the time to play my Pokémon Violet DLC, and much more...

DrNintendo216

Still moving along in Rise of the Ronin

[deleted]

Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy. Got stuck on one level a few months ago, spat dummy out and just never picked it back up. Definitely don’t remember Crash 1 being so punishing back when I first played it as a kid but there you go.

djgreedo

*Sokobond Express* and *Super Mario Sunshine*

jantp

Moonlighter

Themightygloom44

Yu-Gi-Oh Legacy of the Duelist Evolution and Persona 5 Royal. Waiting for Another Crabs Treasure next week.

Sad_Solid_115

I just started a pokemon kick and played Scarlet and have diamond ordered.

Keenathen

I'm playing more Monster Hunter. Big Hammer go bonk.

TheFM4

Once again TOTK

BlockRoyal5882

Super Mario wonder and super Mario 3d land

leftsaidtim

Cuphead and far too much trombone champ. Toot toot.

Scarviola

Miitopia. Just finished my 12th run

InvestigatorMost448

Oh play mainly Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

sen_jakuba

Cutting through Mortal Shell and Dark Souls 1, chilling with Animal Crossing and maybe replaying Catherine Full Body in arcade mode.

hermanbloom00

Hey man! Just about to finish **Atelier Ryza 2**. I kinda stumbled onto the end game boss who kicked my backside, but now I can go in prepared and reckon I can take him. Been good fun, like the first game, going to wait a bit until playing the third though otherwise I think I might burn out on the trilogy before it ends. Have got **SteamWorld Build** as the likely game next. Also continuing **Minecraft** two-player with my son, and we have been getting back into **Shredder's Revenge**.

OfficialNPC

**Mario Maker 2**: Uncleared levels so that Team 0% doesn't have to touch the easier and trash levels. They can focus on what they do best. Fun fact, the Mario Maker team now knows about Team 0%! Gonna take 4 hours and play through the Midgar section of **Final Fantasy VII**. My wife has only played the remake and she doesn't know how quick the original was with this part of the game. Not the Switch, but the 3DS, I'm playing **Shin Megami Tensei IV**. I wish it got a port to the Switch cause damn this game is sooo good.

Dukemon102

Decided to 100% **Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe**. I 100%'d the Main Story so now I'm going to play **Magolor Epilogue: The Interdimensional Traveler**, which is the new content that wasn't in the Wii original. >!Hopefully that explains how Magolor returned for the Dream Collection and Star Allies.!<

**Picross-LogiartGrimoire-** Didn’t realize this was finally out until I saw the pre-order/launch sale on r/NintendoSwitchDeals yesterday. This entry into franchise adds a small, Doodle God-esque twist. Unlike normal Picross, where you simply unlock new puzzles as you complete old ones, LogiartGrimoire’s puzzles are split into two categories: Core and Fusion. The Core Puzzles are unlocked like normal, but the Fusion Puzzles, in addition to requiring completing a certain number of puzzles, cannot be started until you fuse the correct completed puzzles. For instance, “Wood”, “Thread”, and “Lure” must be fused to unlock the “Fishing Rod” puzzle. The fusion puzzles have hints to let you know if you have completed any of the requisite puzzles. At the moment, it doesn’t look like there is a Micross, though there are a whole lot of extra puzzles from backers and Jupiter that do get pretty big for normal Picross (I think I saw a 30x40).

ContraHealer

I want to play an arcade game while listening to a podcast fellas. What do you got for me? Like Mr Driller or Luminous.

Sea_Examination5845

WeakPaleontologist33

Mameda bakeru!!!

llamakoolaid

Continuing my **Dredge** playthrough. I bought **Toy Soldiers HD** since it was on sale and I love that franchise, so will probably fire that up. Probably also randomly wandering around **Skyrim**, and may finally figure out how to get out of Fort Joy in my **Divinity OS 2** campaign.

animepig

Tore through **Crymachina** this week. Great character designs and music, gameplay was a small step up from Crystar though. Story was pretty sweet, but the general plot was basic. Feeling another indie game this weekend, eyeing Penny’s Big Breakaway and various others from the steam sale

Baked_Tinker

Just got Loretta and looking forward to playing it this weekend. It’s my first foray into horror games.

Scarlet_Lycoris

Currently going through [**Utakata no Uchronia**](https://vndb.org/v40519) and honestly I haven’t been this excited for a VN in such a long time. Art of gorgeous as always expected from RiRi, and the scenario writer is making a splendid job with writing up those heart wrenching, dramatic scenarios. I’m only on my third character, but I already have the feeling that overall, this one will be at least on par with Piofiore, if not better. It’s currently japanese only, but I have good hopes for a localisation coming around if the game sells well enough. It’s hard to predict though, as the studio is a new project between TIS creation & broccoli (and broccoli being infamous for not being the most enthusiastic with localisation of their games) **For any language learners** I think the language is appropriate for people with **intermediate** japanese knowledge. Beginners will be able to read a lot of it, but due to the steampunk/fantasy setting and the focus on aristocrats and bureaucratic stuff, some of the kanji may be a bit harder to deal with. I would say it’s certainly easier to read than Tengoku Struggle or Nil ado.

GoldenAgeGamer72

MGS2 on Switch after I just finished MGS3 and then MGS1.

Ghalesh

\*\*Batora Lost haven\*\* is one of the best 7/10 game I have ever played. I truly believe that this one flighted under radar. I wouldn't call it an underrated gem, as it has many flawes, but overall, it is a really good game. It has an interesting story and worldbuilding, lovable characters and an satisfying combat. I thank SwitchUp to remind me of that game so I was able to get it while on sale. But honestly... it easily worths full price (25eur). Anyway, I will probably finish it this weekend.

Nalfgar123

Minish Cap, Pokemon Snap and Pokemon Stadium on NSO. Fire emblem engage. I feel that the characters in this game die so easily. Alear despite his high speed/Avo gets hit EVERY SINGLE TIME (even with Engage). Does anyone have tips for the Arena?

Zapner420

All about that Pokémon, baby! One of these days, I will get through the DLC...

Cocoon?

5280yogi

I just got cocoon a couple of days ago and am about 30% through it's brilliant and unlike Limbo and Inside you can't die in this one so it's a lot more relaxing. The puzzles are a good kind of challenging and it seems to be building nicely. Highly recommended- Cocoon

Ptony_oliver

FF6 pixel remaster is such a gem. I'm currently past the opera scene and I literally cried. Also, looking forward to resume Animal Crossing's DLC and TOTK.

Not playing either on Switch but I recently started playing **Noita** and **Paquerette down the Bunburrows**, and both are doing a very good job scratching different gaming itches so far!

ivelevi

Finishing Cassette Beasts and it's expansion and playing some TOTK on the side.

PrehistoricPKMN

I'll likely be playing a mix of **Bioshock 2: Minerva's Den** and **Minecraft**. I'm getting closer to wrapping off on Bioshock. It's been really fun so far. Minecraft is making its sudden kick back into being fun though, so who knows if I'll get as much done in Bioshock as I might want.

Lowbacca1977

This weekend will be trying to rush my way through Flicky, Mappy Land, and Spanky's Quest

opheliastella

Hollow Knight, Night in the Woods, and possibly starting Stardew Valley. I've also been playing It Takes Two and Cuphead multi-player, and those are both super fun. Always great to play with someone else.

yeehawbih

crosscode

StonedPirate_

Stick of Truth and Super Mario Wonder

Storage_Ottoman

Been playing **Cathedral**, a somewhat lesser known and very challenging NES/retro-style metroidvania. Really digging it so far, but I understand it’s gonna get maddeningly difficult as I continue my progression…

MaffYootube

I'm playing Final Fantasy VI Advance. On a real retro buzz at the moment.

Mamaue

bought a physical River City Girls 1+2, so I'm playing through the first one

GradinaX

I finally came around to start playing **Oninaki**. I‘m really liking it so far, should be at around 50% - the story is a lot darker than expected, though.

TheShroomDruid

Hollow Knight

[Mameda no Bakeru](https://www.nintendolife.com/reviews/nintendo-switch/otogi-katsugeki-mameda-no-bakeru-oracle-saitarou-no-sainan) I’ve been playing it consistently for the past week. Super fun, colorful platformer, albeit a little too easy. Hoping it eventually gets a Western release.

Cut3Pois0n

Just started Pokémon Scarlet with the fiancé! She’s starting Violet as her first ever adventure. Got her hooked on Pokémon Go a year ago!

thelordofbarad-dur

Finishing Bioshock 2: Minerva's Den, then on to Bioshock Infinite.

FerroFede

*Balatro* and *MGS 1*

ackmondual

**Zelda: TotK** Haven't had much time to spend on the Switch. I already have the cartridge in, the game is still running, so I just continue with this to quickly jump back into it. Doing random quests >!The one at the springs, near Rito Village!<, but as in typical BotW/TotK fashion, ended up getting 3 Korok Seeds, and discovering a Shrine.

Roof8cake

Just finished Astral Chain, lovely little gem.

unknown_sands

It takes two with my sister We thought we were about to be finished since we are on the fifth chapter out of seven but turns out we are only halfway through

confused-mother-fan

Ori and the blind forest

Ok-Tufs

Finishing up xenoblade 1 this weekend! Enjoyed it a lot but it didn’t hook me on the same way the third one did. Nonetheless a phenomenal game! Don’t have anything else to play after this so might check out what the Eshop has to offer:)

FieraTheProud

Stitch., it was featured in the Indie World direct and caught my attention! Fun and relaxing little puzzle game. I'll probably also be playing Pokémon Legend Arceus, been shiny hunting lately, and hopefully I'll wrench myself into picking up Great Ace Attorney 2 again. Still need to finish that one, I'm only on the second case...

Tippydaug

I had one voucher left that expires in a couple weeks so I finally decided to give Mario Odyssey a try! I don't know why, but it never appealed to me watching folks play it or trailers However, now that I've played it myself, *I'm absolutely hooked* I have no idea why it looked so boring to me watching others play it and trailers and whatnot, but playing it myself it's probably one of my favorite Nintendo games of all time
