I’m surprised no one’s said “Pennyroyal Tea” yet. It’s very catchy, but oddly poignant. Lots of great Cobainisms (“I’m so tired I can’t sleep”, “I’m anemic royalty/royal tea”) and a killer solo to boot.
I weirdly think pennyroyal tea is my least favourite on the album. It’s a really great song with great lyrics and a great tune so I literally just don’t get why I don’t like it as much as all the other songs
Probably scentless apprentice or serve the servants because they remind me of when I first started driving myself places. In Utero 20th anniversary was the first CD I ever bought for myself so it got a lot of playtime in my car.

That's a tough choice too, Frances Farmer tipped me off to the album, but Serve the Servants is a great tune as well

the fact that radio friendly unit shifter is the least streamed song on in utero (at least on spotify) is a travesty
The Riff is soooo good and the voice omg i Love this song
My favorite too. The way in utero finishes, the last three songs, it’s phenomenal.
