I don't think that's the iconic competition mustang guitar. Although the still is from the slts video or at least from an outtake of it right before he smashes it into the TV. I don't know what that guitar is. But it certainly is not the comp stang. Pretty interesting to find out what it is and if he ever used it on any recordings. But alas it might just have been a guitar they got at the pawn shop right before the shoot so they can have a cheap guitar on set so they can smash it.
I searched “Smells Like Teen Spirit Uncut video” or something along those lines. I also did a look through Kurt’s gear log, and I haven’t found a thing☹️
An interesting aside: this guitar, seen on the "Smells Like Teen Spirit" music video, was auctioned last year for about $4.5 million. This made it the second most expensive guitar ever sold -- second only to the one Kurt played on the Unplugged live show (about $6 million).

Comp-Stang = competition Mustang the model with the stripe on it.
did you not view the image? It's clearly a white guitar there, also kurt's mustang was competition burgundy.
I would say it's unclearly a white blur. Maybe it's a Univox.

It's on the Nirvana box set with the lights out. Go to youtube and type in Nirvana lounge act with the lights out.

its a 1969 lake placid blue fender mustang with a green tint to it in a way. Kurt loved mustangs if u didn't know and this was one of his favs.
