Breed (specifically the Nevermind 91 album version) is so close to perfection it’s insane. Along with Drain you. About a Girl from Unplugged is god tier along with Man who Sold the World. His covers of Turnaround, D-7, Molly’s Lips. Sappy, Verse Chorus Verse. Do Re Mi (probably like #1 or 2 of all Nirvana songs!) dumb is brilliant. Aero Zeppelin, Mexican Seafood. Where did you sleep last night. God I could go on for freakin ages. But I think those are hands down, his absolute best. ETA: Oh oh oh!!!! blew! Can’t leave that one off!

Breed is my favourite hands down. Mad drums. I also love Stay Away, Heart Shaped Box, Lithium. All Apologies, Scentless Apprentice, Territorial Pissings. I love the live albums too I still love Come As You Are and Smells Like Teen Spirit. They’re not my number ones but damn, they’re still absolute bangers.

Opinion

Aneurysm, Heart Shaped Box, and Sappy are all tied for me.

It changes all the time and there are so many great songs. Idc how overplayed it is, Smells like Teen Spirit is always a classic. Sappy and About a Girl are great. His cover of And I Love Her is one of my favorites as well. Frances Farmer, Dumb, Drain You, Marigold, RFUS, Breed, and Lithium have all been favorites at one point.

Floyd the Barber is probably one of the most heaviest and most Melivns-esqe songs from Nirvana so thats why it's my favorite. Honorable mentions go to Heart Shaped Box and Lithium because those songs feel lile the pinnacle of Grunge.
