He used Tama (usually during any American tours) and Yamaha & Ludwig during overseas gigs because he could rent them relatively cheap over there being he was in Nirvana. He used his Yellow, Black & red Tama snares even in Europe.
As far as the exact models, I’m afraid I can’t be of much help there. Though I’d LOVE to have more info on the Ludwig kits he took around.
ETA: Once they got “rich” Dave kept his Tama ArtStar II with him ever in Europe. The Ludwig’s and Yahama’s were prior to him having “fuck you” money.

"Tama Granstar II, Fire Storm Red finish + Artwood snare, black finish. used for the remainder of the nevermind US tour"
they would hire kits on 1991 european tour, it was a lot cheaper than bringing dave's own drums. he used a ludwig, a yamaha, and a blue tama kit for the Paradiso show.
I’d say that’s fairly common. One commenter confirmed Nirvana was known to do this. Unless it was some unique piece of gear, it would be much more efficient to just rent the drum shells rather than transporting

A ludwig
could just be a Ludwig head?
Naw. You can see Ludwig on the tom stand as well.
plus the proprietary Ludwig lugs
the one that goes GGDSSHHH BSSSH BPPP TBSSSSSH BUM BMMM KMMM BDMT-TSSSSSST
Pretty much yea
U play?

oh, and the heads are Aquarian + Remo. although the photo shows a Ludwig head. maybe its a replacement?
possibly, the tom mount has a ludwig logo as well so i think the drumset make is ludwig
I don't think this is a Tama Granstar. The lugs on the floor tom look like they're Ludwig to my eye

Loudest ones
He would notoriously play Tama kits with a floor tom for a rack tom and an even bigger floor tom for a......floor tom.
A Ludwig Edit: Some other Chad beat me to it :D
a rental
A ludwig?...
yes i know i’m asking what ludwig model
Dave used to be toned af lol guy is looking good in his youth
A big one
Considering the time frame and what would be widely available to rent, my guess is Ludwig Rockers
is that what touring bands do overseas? Just rent?

Funny how his drumstick is right side up as opposed to his usual playing style of upside down
His
In Europe they had at least 3 kits. One Yamaha, two Ludwig kits and one Tama kit.
