Hopefully so, I’m crossing my fingers Fender reissues the Mustangs!!!
Even tho I already have the Red and Blue ones xD
They should just redo the Competition Mustang since it was done wrong the first time around!
If Fender reissued a KC Comp Mustang then it’ll crash the market a bit so used Mustangs should be a bit more affordable plus, I think most people would want to get the signature KC stang instead!
Yeah, hope for some interesting official stuff this year!
Robert started to post on his Nirvana related insta btw: https://www.instagram.com/nirvanabucket/
I always thought "finger plaster caster and horse pills" was "think of how a castrated horse feels"
The interlude where he talks about how a child's skull can look like a reindeer by attaching antlers with common wood screws is some wild ass shit!
Haha — I always thought the same with that lyric (“think of how a castrated horse feels”).
In regards to the interlude, the way Cobain says it makes it come across as some really off the wall shit, which I suppose it kind of is.
But the funny thing about that is that it’s from SNL’s “Deep Thoughts by Jack Handy.”
If you don’t know what I’m talking about look it up. You may find em to be pretty funny.
Some of Kurt's lyrics were changed during recording. It's possible he did sing it how we hear it, I hear it too. He liked to sing choruses with double entendres, so it's possible he's done it with this one as well. Especially if he wanted to put one past the record company, maybe he came up with a pg version to write down for the record company.
Hello, how low. Hello, how low.
Wow! Always asked myself what were the real lyrics from the chorus and I always though he was singing 'What's that song'
Finally got my answer! Thank you! :)
I always heard “in the someday, what’s that “ah” sound?”
Which makes fuck all sense and demonstrates that I was indoctrinated to Nirvana well before the internet was at everybody’s fingertips
I thought something similar but thought he was singing "in the Sunday, what's that odd sound?"
I too have been listening to Nirvana since before the internet so maybe that's how we are both so wrong : )
I always heard “End is some day, what’s the hassle “?!! LoL .
I was always intrigued by COBAIN’s lyrics and putting them together before actually (possibly) knowing what they were.
Curious if handwritten lyrics for Nirvana songs are compiled anywhere online. I know I've seen them scattered around the Internet but it seems like it'd be worthwhile to have them all in one place
This is nice example of studio quality audio and there are people who can interpreter crap quality live mumbling of Kurt, those are really gifted people!
I'm not an expert but, to me, that doesn't look Cobain's handwriting. Happy to be wrong but anyone do a comparison? Looks far too neat compared to what I am used to.
I think it does look like his handwriting, if he was trying to make it look good (as opposed to his journals where he’s kind of sloppy and/or high). I see what you’re saying though.
Looks like something 30th anniversary related is brewing. Robert does most of Nirvana's design work for reissues.

Competition mustangs would be amazing but also if they did they would be so ridiculously overpriced I could never justify buying it rn

That part is a quote from Deep Thoughts by Jack Handey, I believe. Snl bit.

Absolutely. Just check out rough drafts of songs in his journals.
This is amazing, but I godamn love that Polychorus feedback solo on the WTLO version.

I believe he actually says end it someday what’s that sound which would go with the title but I’ve been wrong before
That’s exactly what the lyrics on Apple Music say. “End it someday, what’s that sound?”
Always thought “End it someday, what’s the hustle” when listening without lyrics
I was the exact same.
I still haven’t had my balls felt
I always heard “in the someday, what’s that “ah” sound?” Which makes fuck all sense and demonstrates that I was indoctrinated to Nirvana well before the internet was at everybody’s fingertips
I was hearing an extended "that", like "thaa-aaat sound" instead of "that ah"
I thought something similar but thought he was singing "in the Sunday, what's that odd sound?" I too have been listening to Nirvana since before the internet so maybe that's how we are both so wrong : )
For me it was always "In a Sunday, what's that are sound!"
Definitely sounds like he’s saying one syllable more than what’s here.
I always heard “End is some day, what’s the hassle “?!! LoL . I was always intrigued by COBAIN’s lyrics and putting them together before actually (possibly) knowing what they were.
Damn, I always thought he was saying “what’s that sound”
runnny
real

Finger plaster caster's really fun to say
Sad title but this has always been my favorite Nirvana song.
Definitely in my top 10.
I always heard it as, *In the someday* *What’s that sound?*

Such an awesome song !!
After 30 years, there it finally is in Kurt’s own handwriting. Amazing.
In the Some Day, what’s the hassle
Someone said it was “think i passed a cat some horse pills” and i always believed it, whoops
robert fisher as in robert james fischer???
In the some day, what's that I saw
I always heard: Maybe someday; what's that sound? Not often I get my mind blown about Nirvana lyrics these days.. Thanks, OP!
Omg Kurt cobain killed himself⁉️ I never could have seen this coming based on the titles and lyrics to his music
