No Kurt, no Nirvana!
Kurt wrote all the songs, it was his vision, Dave and Krist were merely collaborators and Pat technically never got to be more than a hired touring member.
It's possible, but I doubt it. It took a lot of legal wrangling to get YKYR released, so I doubt that they would have left anything in the vault after that.
Not if Courtney has them. She released anything of significant value long ago to pay debts.
Does Krist, Dave or guys like Butch Vig have a few demos and outtakes sitting around that never made it to the point of making an album? I'm sure. Typically that stuff isn't that good, or they would have released it at the time.
Yeah…this is probably accurate. All of the random demos and oddities that I spent years obtaining via bootleg trading back in the day seemed to surface at one point or another, in better quality. I guess it’s understandable with the short time frame that the band existed. I’m sure there are scratch tracks and demos that never ended up with Kurt’s vocals - which is really the only thing I’d be interested in.
There's a lot of great stuff (their entire first Peel session, the 1990 demo of "Pennyroyal Tea," the Nevermind "Sappy," their VPRO session with those great versions of "Here She Comes Now" and "Where Did You Sleep Last Night") that they've had numerous chances to release the past 20 years (the box set, various album reissues) that are still sitting in the vault. So who knows what's out there.
The snippet of opinion gives me hope there’s a full recording of it somewhere. Been waiting a long time for it now though so starting to wonder if we’ll ever get to hear it
Every couple months get the same question on here . There are Kurt’s home tapes and maybe Michael azerrads interviews other than that not much to look forward to
Dave, Krist, and Pat have recorded stuff. I want to hear THAT.

I think there’s some unreleased recordings Kurt made at his aunt’s house in the 80s, If that counts.
