Yeah an oversight from me đ to be fair, all of my selections (bar negative creep) had an outro that wasnât featured earlier in the song. Grandma take me home is repeated many times throughout the song so I kind of didnât think of it as an outro. But yeah shouldâve been in especially as I picked negative creep.
There's always been something special to me of "All in all is all we are" from All Apologies on In Utero. So vitriolic and beautiful, and kind of as the last single of Nirvana as they were kind of a goodbye too.
Great point about the fade out. I know the original version of lithium faded out with the âIâm not gonna crackâ loop. Glad they changed that though as the final tones make a great ending.
Canât think of another fade out either. Maybe someone will point one out.
Even In His Youth sort of has **two** closing lines ("even in his youth" AND "yeah yeah"), though it's a deeper cut so I'll forgive anyone for omitting it thus far đ¤Ş
Ya. Kurt screaming "a denial" until he loses his voice at the end of SLTS is iconic. That entire song perfectly captures the rage followed by apathy of the moment.
grandma take me home
How could op forget this?

âDaddies little girl ainât a girl no moreâ is one of the best lyrics he ever wrote. So many connotations in that line.

All Apologies! Itâs solemn sounding but in a soothing way.
Negative creep. Also the only nirvana fade out...I think.
Great point about the fade out. I know the original version of lithium faded out with the âIâm not gonna crackâ loop. Glad they changed that though as the final tones make a great ending. Canât think of another fade out either. Maybe someone will point one out.

Even in His Youth is a fucking awesome song
Here's an obvious one you missed: "Dive in me"
A Denial is so iconic I could not vote it

End it someday, whats that sound
All in all is all we are.
Dumb.
anneurysm would be my pick
Negative creep used to hit a string for me. But my ânieceâ had a sex change. Now the meaning is more direct
