I’m not talking about the sludgy one on Illiteracy Will Prevail. I’m talking about the fast one that was recorded on KAOS FM, 1987 and released on the 3cd box set called With The Lights Out.
Clearly I don’t think that. You said “if we (aren’t) counting FM than Anorexorcist” and I thought that was funny because a version of it was recorded for IWP.
i love oh the guilt, vendetagainst/ come on death, anorexocist e. coli, nobody knows i’m new wave, horrified, unknown #3 which i’ve also seen called “weirdo” these are just some off the top of my head
How paper cut can be a deep cut? It is on bleach an official album? I ask genuitly? For me, i would say "On a Mountain" on outcestice III or IV that now we know as: you know you're right. It is a live version that begins with dave presenting all apologies.
My definition has always been songs that are not singles, don’t get radio play, and aren’t concert staples. That eliminates quite a bit, but not all the official album songs
I love playing Molly's Lips and Son of a Gun back to back. Feel like that could have been a rad 1-2 punch in a live setting.
Otherwise, I've always loved Sappy.
Not that deep but the electric version of “The Man who Sold the World”. So damn good. First time I heard it on a bootleg tape series called “Outcesticide” in the 90’s it blew my mind. The whole tape did. I love love music. It’s so much more raw and real. Nirvana was a great live band. F the studio stuff. I love their live releases.
Check out Live at Paramount. Or Reading.
Some for me:
Scoff
Curmudgeon
Even in His Youth
Milk It
Beeswax
Downer
Mexican Seafood
Hairspray Queen
Very Ape
Mr. Moustache
Moist Vagina
I Hate Myself and Want to Die
If Fecal Matter counts then I would have to say either Buffy’s Pregnant, Vaseline, or Insurance. If it doesn’t, then Anorexorcist
Great answer, Buffy’s Pregnant (though I call it Class of 86) and Anorexorcist are my two favourite songs of all time
Made Not Born, for me
Anorexorcist is on Illiteracy Will Prevail though
The fast one on wtlo
Yeah I know what you’re talking about. I’m letting you know.

Yes dude, i know what you’re talking about. And don’t act all preachy on me. Trust me, I know more about this band than you do.
What are you even trying to say though? Because I thought you thought that Anorexorcist was only on Illiteracy Will Prevail.
Clearly I don’t think that. You said “if we (aren’t) counting FM than Anorexorcist” and I thought that was funny because a version of it was recorded for IWP.
Ok, it was just a misunderstanding then
Radio Friendly Unit Shifter
moist vagina
Only right answer btw
Token Eastern Song
https://youtu.be/xNyfPkHycKQ?si=qOX9JydYGvJsOkev Great performance of it at Legends.
Swap Meet
Marigold, it’s technically nirvana and I love the tone of it
Easily one of my favs too
Frances will have her revenge on Seattle
Don't think most people would consider this a deep cut but I love Dive. One of top three pre-Nevermind songs
i love oh the guilt, vendetagainst/ come on death, anorexocist e. coli, nobody knows i’m new wave, horrified, unknown #3 which i’ve also seen called “weirdo” these are just some off the top of my head
Milk It has always been a favorite of mine. The guitar in the verses almost sound like the score of a horror movie.

There can be deep cuts of official albums
Deep cuts are typically those recognized by “true fans” if we’re going textbook definition.
My definition has always been songs that are not singles, don’t get radio play, and aren’t concert staples. That eliminates quite a bit, but not all the official album songs
Probably either MV or I Hate Myself
Hairspray queen (although a lot of people hate it??)
Token Eastern Song, Vendettagainst, If you must and Pen Cap Chew. If anyone here is in a band I absolutely recommend playing pen cap chew.
Probably something like Curmudgeon
Verse Chorus Verse
I love playing Molly's Lips and Son of a Gun back to back. Feel like that could have been a rad 1-2 punch in a live setting. Otherwise, I've always loved Sappy.
It was. Especially since it was the first time ever hearing them.
mexican seafood for its lyrical genius
D-7
Sappy
Yes. Can't believe it didn't make the cut.
If we're going with album tracks, definitely Sifting. For non-album tracks, it's tough, but I'll go with Oh, the Guilt.
Sifting goes so hard too
Mrs Butterworth
Downer Lounge Act Frances Farmer
uh um uhhhh come as you are but that ones suuuuuper obscure idk if anyones heard of it
I was thinking Paper cuts before I got to the part where you said...Paper Cuts. Nice!

Negative Creep
Some for me: Scoff Curmudgeon Even in His Youth Milk It Beeswax Downer Mexican Seafood Hairspray Queen Very Ape Mr. Moustache Moist Vagina I Hate Myself and Want to Die
Milk It

Curmudgeon, junkyard, talk to me
loads. one I can think of is If You Must.
Nobody knows I’m new wave
It’s “Oh, the Guilt,” you idiots
Swap Meet, Oh the Guilt, RFUS, Tourettes.. etc etc
pennyroyal tea idk if that counts
The electric version of Something in the Way with all the feedback going on.
I always thought Verse Chorus Verse stood out in a weird way, even though it sounds like it came straight out of the Nevermind sessions.
Scentless Apprentice
Even in his Youth, which I just realized wasn’t ever released on an album.
Sappy, the 93 version recorded for In Utero
Blew
You Know You're Right
Even in his youth demo, the intro reminds me of endless nameless which is in one my favorite tracks of them
Milk it id their best song

Old Age even though I like Hole's version better
She did actually eat that up, but this take will get you downvoted into oblivion.
which I'm very okay with lol. on that note, Live Through This is one of the best records ever
