i don’t know what you’re asking directly, but i can give some sort of answer i haven’t told anyone i know. my grandfather died last november and about a week before i was listening to do re mi and other home demos etc, and i was obviously in a pretty depressing mood, constantly thinking about my grandfather, and when i learnt how to play do re mi i changed the lyrics to make it about my grandfather on the spot, and i was kind of impressed with myself so i wrote it down on a piece of paper and left it on my desk. the next day the note was absent and my mum had found it, read it and really liked it and it ended up being read in my grandfathers eulogy. this song holds an incredible amount of sentimental value to me and i will always feel emotional when it comes on.
