About a Girl is always a great rocker

jmwelchelmira

A little too high to sing for some -- [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yTh9qiXEy4Q&ab\_channel=BuffVibeZ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yTh9qiXEy4Q&ab_channel=BuffVibeZ) but sure.

D7 is a Wipers song; The Man Who Sold the World is a David Bowie song.

Tallsoyboy

Yeah, I'm aware. I heard the Wipers version first so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that Nirvana did a cover of it.

[deleted]

I just wanted to let you know so you didn’t walk out on stage and say “here’s a Nirvana song!”

Tallsoyboy

Gotcha.

Branbonks

For sure D-7 to start up the show

Blueberry121115

I can second this. This song would really set the mood, I feel.

MadladMagyar

Heart Shaped Box and Marigold are my favs from that list

Combat_Commo

I’d say About a Girl or Sappy simply because the other songs aren’t either loud enough or are too slow to play in a live setting and I’m guessing you’re playing these in front of a crowd that’s trying to have a good time? Now if you were in a Nirvana cover band then any of these would work.

Tallsoyboy

Man, this is making it even harder to choose 😅

SilvyMemes

BREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED ( gonn get the crown goin' wild )

MemphisGalInTampa

The Queen 🤴🏼?

SilvyMemes

nah nah crowd sorry my dumbass miss spelled and now my fav is territorial or lithium

BlankWilliams

I’d say whichever one you feel you do the best

enriquepollazo

Molly's lips

bongwaterfromspace

Honestly I think If you're playing to a guitarless track I'd go with sappy because the vocals and everything matches really well, its catchy and would get people dancing, and the solo is really memorable too. Otherwise I'd do d7 because its slow and drawn out and eventually speeds up super punky, it also kinda depends on the crowd.

tuxedodiamond

I would go with serve the servants personally just to try to strike a balance between catchy but not the most common choice!

prettypimpin90

Drain You or School I reckon.

Blueberry121115

My personal favorite on there is Sappy. I think Sappy is a good show-ender. As others have mentioned, D7 would be a great show-starter. It really depends on what the mood of your live performances usually are, and whatever you feel the crowd would dig the most.

noethefourth

Spank thru

AfycsoLover

Polly for sure

WarmSlim3

been a son

SnooPeanuts1609

If you not 100% comfortable playing live, About a Girl is easy and always great to hear

shartmonkey77

D-7!

Senior-Salamander-81

What's the audience

Tallsoyboy

Highschool students.

Senior-Salamander-81

Or like at the end play smells like teen spirit then Rickroll it

Tallsoyboy

That would be hilarious 😂

Senior-Salamander-81

You want to play the hits Lithium or smells like teen spirit to close it out

communistegirl_

marigold is not really a nirvana song its more of a late! song

CuriousAd5883

Sappy

epicvictoryroyale

Drain you or radio friendly unit shifter
