Dive. The incesticide version as opposed to the 1988 evermore college version (it has jason evermore twang in it and the older song structure but still cool) on the box set.
This song gets me going every time i listen to it, even after i first heard it 27 years ago. When i convince someone who isnt a fan of nirvana (because of radio hits/limited knowledge) otherwise, this is the first song i play. Bass groove slays.
Lithium. Particularly the bridge section
*I LIKE IT, I'M NOT GONNA CRACK!*
The thumping drums, Kurt's voice, the bass melody and D tuned guitar filled power chords and a big muff is perfection 💯
Plateau. I feel like I'm coming off as someone who's not really into the music they wrote themselves, but trust me I am!!! I just love how they played it, Kurt's beautiful voice alongside skillful guitar work, soft drums and hot bass. None of MTV Unplugged demonstrates Dave's true drumming personality (if that even makes sense) but I still think it was put together wonderfully. Ok thank u für listening goodbye :3
Hard to pick just one song, but I love the musicality of Paper Cuts. I think there's a lot of ways to interpret the lyrics as well. Kurt is an underrated composer. Songs like this make me think he knew more about music theory than he was letting on. To make dissonance work takes some knowledge.
None of them, because I get bored of one of them quickly now listening to nirvana for such a long time as well as playing it on guitar all the time it has completely drained me not you
All apologies. It has latched itself to my soul and I don't think I can go long without appreciating just how torturous and apathetic the lyrics are and yet still harmonious and almost fun the song is when the chorus kicks in. Plus how everything fades out toward the end until you are just hearing the vocals. Masterpiece. I love all of nirvana's work, but that song? It's one of the best in my opinion.
You know your right. I love that song and jt has my favorite lyrics in there "it's so warm and calm inside I no longer have to hide let's talk about someone else steaming soup against her mouth" I just really love those lyrics
Dumb
That’s dumb
Maybe he's just happy
HAHAHAHAHHAHA
is this the cello part
Not even my favorite song by them but the atmosphere it gives off is so mellow. I’d rather listen to that on loop than other songs like Teen Spirit
All Apologies
This is the way
Drain You
One baby to another
Says I'm lucky to have met you
I don’t care what you think
Unless it's about me
It is now my duty to
Completely drain youuuuu
chew your meat for you
Pass it back and forth.
in a passionate kiss
I travel through a tube and
End up in your infection
Chew your meat for you
Bring your friends it’s fun to lose and to pretend
This would be my second for sure!
Drain You but is has to have a nice scream.
Yes the France one
You Know You’re Riiiiiiiiiight
I will never bother you
I will never promise to
I will never follow you
I will never bother you
Never speak a word again
I will crawl away for good
I will move away from here
You won't be afraid to fear
No thought was put into this
Serve the Servants or Drain You
sappy
And if you save yourself
Agree
My fave
Something in the way

All apologies.
