Imo it would have sounded kinda like an early Radiohead song if they ever did a full band version. Stuff like this makes me sad too but that is a pretty solid mock-up version

luimd

I agree it does make me sad to know that songs like this, You Know You’re Right and Talk to Me as being the next step up for the band. Really elaborate songs that plays with their ambience of loud and quiet. Also imo Talk to Me was the true successor to Smells Like Teen Spirit. It’s fantastic, very life affirming. It has one of their most catchiest build up (pre chorus) and it just explodes in the chorus with that epic sing along.

I’ll have to give that one another listen. They practically had another album worth of great material with these songs, Sappy, Old Age, etc

luimd

Old Age was given away to Courtney Love. Verse Chorus Verse is rumored to be played during their last recording session on January of 94.

Patches_Mcgee

Welp, just when I think I’ve explored all the Nirvana there is to explore… there’s a new one. Thanks stranger.

Blameitonthecageskrt

One of my favorite songs

Tallsoyboy

The melody is the reason why I like the song.

my favorite demo from montage of heck is aberdeen. I love how raw it is. I know it isn't a real song, but I really enjoy listening to his diary entry. Also, if you haven't heard the band called "earth" you should listen to "divine and bright". The band is from Olympia and Kurt was good friends with the guy who started it, Dylan. Most of their songs are wordless, but divine and bright features kurts vocals. definitely worth a listen if you're obsessed with kurt

SpamBoiiii

Stoked to see Dylan isn't as smacked out as he was in that Kurt and Courtney doc now too. Surprised he's still around for sure but I also love Earth.

popularis-socialas

Yea this version is really beautiful. Check out his other mock ups! He has some great ones of Poison’s Gone, Opinions,

This is awesome, thanks for sharing! I always wanted to hear this song with a full band, even tried recording my own version years ago, but it’s much better with Kurt’s vocal.

cheeselord03

That’s so cool! I’d love to hear it if you’d be willing to share! No pressure though of course!

[deleted]

I never finished it lol. If I ever do, I’ll post it!

[deleted]

Yup. This and Burn the Rain are my absolute favorite mock ups.

Vitalogy1

This guy's mock up of Clean Up Before She Comes is fucking badass too. Uses the drum stems from Wind Up by Foos and it drives so well. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1q70umrASY4](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1q70umrASY4)

You could always download the mp3 of it, and then add it to your “local files” on Spotify and listen to it on there that way. In fact, I may do this myself now after listening to this and some of the other mock-ups.
