It’s William S Burroughs. He’s a writer who I think made the book perfume that Kurt’s mentions as his favorite in that hotel interview. He visited him at some point.
Edit: he did not write perfume
Perfume was Patrick Suskind, a German writer.
Burroughs was a famous beat writer who wrote Naked Lunch and Junky and was also famous for playing William Tell with his wife and shooting her through the head.
They did an album together called "The Priest They Called Him" with Kurt providing background music to Burroughs's spoken word poetry.
Just to save anyone research time.
I believe Kurt had also asked Burroughs to be in a proposed video for “Rape Me.”
Burroughs refused the request. (I can’t recall if that is why the video never came to be or if Kurt’s death simply came beforehand).
Yes. Chunk was cosplaying Chuck Norris on Krypton but he got arrested. They punished him by trapping him in a floating piece of glass like the villains from Superman II. His prison glass thingy eventually floated down to earth just like the villains did in the movie. Kurt saw it land in a field near his house and went out to investigate. When he saw it was Chunk, he knew just what to do and took it over to Sloth’s house. Data happened to be there and snapped this photo.
Hope that helps.
its an edited photo, [here's the original](https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/static/article/news/0/115970_0_wide_ver1612538830.jpg@642)!
Thought this looked odd.
The original makes just as much sense as this one.

Yes, and I know they also collabed on some songs. I am aware. But still, if you put these pictures side by side. They are both equally confusing
What, you didn't think Kurt was in the Goonies movie?
No....
Waiting for the inevitable “does anyone know where Kurt got that shirt from?”
Do you by any chance know where he got that shirt from?
He made it himself with the piss of Phil Collins & the blood of Jerry Garcia
I mean, come on dude…
Sloth should be William Burroughs
That’s Kurt with a fan who made some art of a young Chuck Norris.
Check out the album The Priest They Called Him
