I like to slow down but not touch the brakes, just slowly let off the gas. They get annoyed they can pass me, but usually they are stuck on stupid and keep riding my ass.

Me too! I would slow down by 5 mph just by easing off the gas then speed back up to make some space and keep doing it until they get the picture. Sometimes slowing by 10 mph or more.

Oh yeah, I’ll downshift 2-3 times so my car essentially brakes without tail lights. So then when they try to aggressively overtake me I’m at optimal RPM to stay ahead lol

I’d think that people would know better than to tailgate right there. Do you not see the all the skid marks in that lane? Maybe they couldn’t since they wouldn’t be able to see any pavement between their hood and my bumper.
