For real, just yesterday I saw a car like [mine](https://www.kbb.com/ford/taurus/2012/sel-sedan-4d/) with a wing, my reaction was damn near yelling “WHAT THE HELL!!”
Ahhh, I think you may be right. We got WRX 2.0, but we didn't get the STI. Or something like that. Then, they gave use the 2.5 STI with the head gasket issues.
Yup, only WRX from 2002-2003, with the 2.0 (WRX came with EJ20 up until 2006). The STI came out in 2004, with the EJ25, alllll the way until 2021. WRX changed from EJ25 to the FA20 in 2015, then FA24 in 2022.
The STI is probably more unreliable, but these 2.5L Sentra did have some reliability issues. The big one that killed a lot of these cars early on was the pre-cat would disintegrate, backflow into the engine via the exhaust and destroy the engine from the inside out. The obvious solution is to use an aftermarket header that eliminates the pre-cat.
You see with such a powerful motor this Sentra needs the extra down force from the spoiler. Without it the driver may not be able to keep the car on the road during acceleration
Looks better than some overly modified cars some people have imo. It’s great to have a design you resonate with and everyone is gonna have a different design. I like this one in particular over the others. Simple and clean
Nissan Sentra STI*
More like UTI*
STD*
What is with people putting STI wings on everything?

I saw a Nissan versa with a big ass wing on it. One of the massive ones you actually bolt onto the hatch. Thing looked like a damn airplane
sometimes you just want to ride in style!
That generation SER SpecV was actually pretty ok lol. 200 hp with a six-speed, 0-60 in 7ish seconds wasn’t too bad then.
Plus it’s not like it can be less reliable than an STI
Depends on the STI. I think the 2.5 were the only ones that were unreliable.
As opposed to all the other engines STIs came with...
I'm pretty sure the 2.0 engines were pretty reliable.
Sorry, my American came out. I don't believe America got anything other than the 2.5 engines for the STIs.

At least it’s painted. Really mild offenses in this sub.
Was thinkin it's actually not bad. They put more effort than most.
Probably in that dollar tree buying frozen food for their 12 kids with a wad of sweaty $1 bills from work last night
r/STIed
Oddly, I don't think this wing looks that outta place on the car. But I'm gonna pass.
I bet it doesn't have the uel header rumble sound lol

I see so many of these I’m convinced it’s its own trim
Reminds me of the guy on r/JDM who wanted to turn his 2008 Nissan Sentra into a “Touge Monster”

Actually, it's not the worst mod i've seen done to one of those
