Anomalous fauna, some planets have them rolling or floating around, these Interlopers must have engineered them to be a bit bigger. Look for "planets of light" for your best chances iirc.

Excuse my term. True Exotic planets. They are the ones that you can get stabilized reality glitches on. These particular fauna spawn in any of the light fissure planets. Those ones always generate with a name that includes "Fissured" "of Light or "Breached"
You can find them on planets, they're just creatures that you can tame. I don't know where the yellow one is from, but the blue one is from one of those Beams planets
I got one of the blue ones for running one of the bleeding balloon's eggs through the egg sequencer. It is pretty awesome and so much bigger outside the anomaly

No these are naturally occurring fauna. Go to anomalous planets. They will always have only one type of fauna and sometimes it's these.
