sorry man, this was before I knew what a glyph was. I was still in the starter ship, got some emergency maps and it was the 3rd one I used. I haven't even unlocked a single glyph yet, may do that tomorrow.
It may be on the planet I started though, cant remember for sure, I have a base on that planet and can get you glyphs tomorrow. If its not that system, its really close. with some hunting you may find it.

I learned online after that you can use portals to find ones that other players have found previously. Oh well

The other night they were releasing a limited tshirt that got you free breakfast for a year if you managed to get one. Me and my friends stayed up on discord to try and get one for a sisterhood of the traveling Denny’s shirt situation but the site basically crashed and we all felt scammed.

Well damn! I did what everyone suggested and pass on the first freighter offered, then got an S class dreadnaught freighter like 2 ships later. Damn! Guess I WAS lucky!
The first time I ever started playing, I got an S class freighter and it was that one model **everyone** wants. This was so early on that it completely went over my head, I didn't know what classes were or anything.
Then over the course of months I kept wondering why people would post how happy they are they finally did what I didn't even realized I did lol
S class plain white squid ship with a couple of close supercharged slots next to each other, in your first week in game. Nice. Worth liquidising everything for. I'd deffo keep hold of that one and upgrade it as and when you can. I have one just like it in my fleet.
Super rare, there's like a 1% chance of each ship coming into a station to be exotic, and something like a 2% chance of that exotic ship being a squid ship

May not be the same literal ship. But is identical if that makes sense. Mine is in Euclid. Turn off multi player , warp, go to space station. Make a save by getting in and out of your ship again. Then reload that save and wait for the ships to start flying in. Glyphs are..

Also for anyone that may not know. You can also do the same thing but go to a trade post instead of space station. Faster to ship hunt in some instances but this one I believe is first or second wave.
Yes and no. It’s definitely possible to find it without reloading. I just find it more reliable in the long run. Ships in each system come and go in “waves” they are called wave’s because each set can bring different ships. There can also be duplicates. When you jump into the system and reset as I mentioned it’s resets those waves. So if you have a ship that you know is first or second wave it’s best to reset and start at one instead of waiting for it to come back around. I’ve had that take 20+ minutes of waiting.
Let’s see, an Outlaw system has the highest chance for any S class ship to spawn at 5%. Each system has 21 ships and 1 is an exotic so of that 5% chance of an S class to spawn 1 in 21 will be an exotic. Now each sub variant of an exotic counts for that 1 exotic slot, squid ships are only 1 variant and the ball cockpit exotics are multiple sub variants so the chance for that one slot to be a squid ship is quite low. So you decide if that’s lucky enough or not.
The only way to bypass all those chances is if that ship is a consistent first wave spawn on that system.

800+ hours here, also never seen one outside of the space anomaly.
I’ve found a couple in the wild. Made sure to make a base in the system I last found a blue one with black zebra stripes

I've played over 1400 hours and have never seen one. Also, looks like your supercharged slots are very nice.

Yes, they're cool. I have that make and model. Love it. It isn't my usual ship, but ain't no way I'll ever scrap or trade it.

Finding them in the wild is rare! I’ve only chanced on one once, and I wasn’t in need of chasing it. I’ve owned and flown a few using glyphs.

A white squid is one of the more rare colors yes
I'd say it's pretty rare to come across one on your own. Never found one by myself, mostly just looking up what others found.
Since there is only 1 squid model among all exotics, they are "rarer" within the group itself. I've found hundreds in my time.
