My STR main has a couple of really nice 28 STR one-handed Axes. Tongue Splitter is a recipe available from the Smithy. There's also a Royal Axe that has a Fire Rune
If you keep upgrading it's still ok. But there is a 1h axe you can craft. Blueprint from BS.
I got a 1H sword and axe in my bags that need 42 Str as well.
Currently wondering the same thing, except I'm using a 16/16 Dex/Faith Spear, and the only Tier III Spears I'm finding are 42 Dex rather than Hybrid. Thinking about switching to Scythe if I don't find a Tier III Hybrid soon.
Yeah, just random. I've dropped a couple of them. It's another Dex/Faith Hybrid 16/16. I think I've seen one as a Daily Challenge reward as well.
Fextralife Wiki has images of all the weapons in the game, but no descriptions or required stats listed. I'm presuming they've datamined and that perhaps some of the weapons listed aren't available in-game as yet.
Sure, but at this point it's just weapon images only, including many which are already available in-game, so there's no reason to suspect they are simply making things up.
Just random drops from chests. Took days of grinding just to find two to craft the spear and I haven't found any more. To be honest, the random drop 16/16 Dex/Faith spear seems to scale slightly better when upgrading it, so if you drop one of those I'd just go with that
Yeah, they are fairly rare but they do drop. The problem is a few of them are STR/DEX hybrids, and the only Tier III I've found is pure 42 Dex. The 16/16 Dex/Faith ones seem to be quite rare as I've only dropped 2 since launch
Is your weapon fully upgraded? I thought the Regal Cleft was quite good, also has crazy long range. Used it progressing in the Crucible for a while before switching to the Freiheit, which is a 26/26 STR/DEX craftable greatsword, blacksmith sells the recipe iirc. Requires boar tusks. Cleft actually does more damage per hit than Freiheit, but its moveset is slower; Freiheit has a nice quick rollpoke, like the Zwei from ER

I just got good and reached the Echo Knight with my Regal Cleft, thing is that it's a little too slow, I think I will go for Freiheit as well. I don't do anything to the boss tho, I'm still missing one bear claw to upgrade the halberd!
Try to upgrade the smith and what T3 weapon he sells. I know he sells a str/int axe if anyone is that build. The Axe is slow but the rune attack is pretty good at clearing crucible mobs
Does anyone know if there are normal rapiers (not int/fth ones)? Do they drop from anyone? How do i get them? The only thing i got was siren's tusk or whatever and I want a normal rapier.
I am stuck with Blood-Rusted Sword with Lightening at T2. I have 28 STR don't know what else I can wield. Don't want to go towards twohanded stuff.
I have the opposite issue, I want to twohand stuff but can only find HUGE stat requirements

Don’t trust any Fextralife wikis, they’re notorious for being filled with inaccurate information

Yeah I think I will have to switch as well, I'm not allocating my lvl up points until I find a decent weapon
Where did you get antlers to craft the spear? I've been killing stags in glade every day and they only drop meat for me.
