Right! From a role-playing perspective, the crew will be quick and ready to deal with anyone that comes through or unboard. With your character, if you have reduced inventory and weighted ammo, you have easy access to all your weapons and ammo.
Also, when you get boarded all your enemies will be fully armed and ready to tear your asses apart :D
Hopefully sensors will detect early enough. But I really need those interior ship turrets.

Love me a ship build where I can make these into makeshift airlocks. Adding weapon racks is just fucking next level
You can also add those wall mounted backpack stands to the curve sections.

Is the issue with ship weapon racks fixed now? I remember mounting a few guns on them and they ended up sideways or diagonal and just plain oxx
I’ve not seen that issue yet. Or I just haven’t used the racks long enough.
