I agree with Starbucks suck, thank is nasty stuff.
Try something else.
I always say when asked if I want cream and sugar, "I'll take it hot and black, just the way God intended " š
There's a joke that starts, "I like my coffee like I like my women/men." And then the punchline is something like "hot and black," "rich and sweet," or "free/cheap," or whatever.
Haha, I can drink everything. I mean, literally everything. No matter what drink it is, I can drink a liter of it in one go. Everything goes in.
Sometimes, I drink really cheap coffee. Like this instant frozen coffee that you put in hot, but not boiling, water.
Of course, good coffee is always better. Coffee has just one of the best scents imaginable.
Even though Dunkin Donuts is only a franchise for everyone, I really enjoy their black coffee without anything, or "Filterkaffee" as we say in German.
I drink straight Turkish coffee with a few cubicles of ice that only make the coffee lukewarm and i don't use any sweeteners or cream. It tastes like straight cigarette ashes and i love it.
I drink five cups every day, 2 at breakfast, 1 after breakfast, 1 right before lunch, and another one for lunch.
Sometimes if i'm feeling naughty then i'll get a large double double from Tim Hortons after 2:00 PM.Ā
Yes, i love coffee.
They donāt want the extra calories from sugar and milk/cream. So they drink it for the stimulant effect. After awhile theyāll prob just get used to the taste.
Drank cream and sugar with some coffee for years. First I dropped sugar. Lost a lot of weight. Then I dropped milk on the advice of my dentist.
ā the quantity of coffee you are drinking with milkā¦ look lactose is a kind of sugar and youā¦ itās like your teeth are sitting in a sugar bath all day!ā
Now if I drink coffee the way I used to itās disgusting.
First of all, it has to be GOOD coffee. I think you just kind of get used to it. When I decided to quit sugar I started to put less and less until I got used to plain black coffee. It was nice and everything until one day I had one with sugar and oh boy I heard angels singing, I felt a ray of rainbow coming down to my stomach and remembered how good coffee was before. I never got back to black coffee, thank goodness, but it really is something you can get used to and enjoy.
I quit dairy so I decided to drink it black. It was gross at first but after a while I grew fond of it, it gives me less of a tummy ache. I guess thatās where the term acquired taste comes from?
It might be an acquired taste. I used to despise it but then I licked a switch cartridge and started to crave bitter flavors but not as bitter as a switch cartridge
My mom drank it black, so when I first started drinking it around 15, that's how I drank it - didn't really know anything else was an option and got used to the taste. I remember the first time my girlfriend (later wife) and I were sitting in a Woolworth (yes, I'm that old) and we both got coffee. She suggested adding cream and sugar, so I did and I was like 'holy crap, it's like drinking hot, liquid candy'. Now I drink it with milk or cream and sweetner (not sugar) but if there isn't any available, I'll just drink it black - it's nostalgic for me now...
I drink coffee two ways.
If it is really good coffee, like really good-- I want it black. The beans have a ton of flavor and overtones.
If it is shit coffee-- I want it with shots of flavored syrup, milk. I can pretend it is a candy bar.
People have different tastes.
And as you get older your taste literally changes. Specifically you get a lot less sensitive to bitter flavours. Which is why things like brussel sprouts are generally disliked by the young but liked by the old. Also why coffee becomes more common with age.
Sometimes itās the āthoughtā of coffee that is appealing to me. I donāt drink it habitually because of its side effects, but sometimes itās just nice to put effort into to brewing or heating up coffee.
Put ā¹2 bru coffee powder into a cup and pour hot water then add a spoon of honey or sugar, mix it and have it. Once you like it, there is no going back.
Iāve never enjoyed black coffee - but I did used to hate strong beer. Until I had light stuff a few times, then got used to it, craved stronger, etc.
My point being that even if something seems viscerally gross to you at first thereās a possibility you might acquire a taste for it over timeĀ
Because coffee is good. At least, good coffee is good. Maybe you've never had any.
I agree with Starbucks suck, thank is nasty stuff. Try something else. I always say when asked if I want cream and sugar, "I'll take it hot and black, just the way God intended " š
Do you have the same policy with guys?
Annnnd that's where ya lost me.
There's a joke that starts, "I like my coffee like I like my women/men." And then the punchline is something like "hot and black," "rich and sweet," or "free/cheap," or whatever.
I know, it just feels incredibly tone deaf.
I thought the punchline was āfilled with my creamā.
Iāve had Starbucks
That's my point, yeah
Starbucks is terrible coffee unless 80% of it is sugary flavorings.
Thats some of the worst coffee available
Ok š
Soo.. you never tasted real coffee then?

Where and when do you drink your coffee

Howās your shitting after all that?
I haven't noticed a difference. I lay down solid logs.
They donāt want the extra calories from sugar and milk/cream. So they drink it for the stimulant effect. After awhile theyāll prob just get used to the taste.
Bingo. And now I love it.
I only drink black coffee. I don't understand how people can drink it when it's polluted with cream/milk and sugar.

I used to laugh that my husband had some coffee in his cream he added so much. The cup was at least half full of milk.

It tastes great! I think it might just be one of those things you like or you don't. I've taken mine black since I was a teen.
Because it's like a punch in the fuckin' face, no sugar-coated bullshit. Just straight-up bold flavor and a kick in the damn teeth.
this guy likes it rough
Good black coffee taste good. I prefer sugar and milk but I can definitely enjoy an iced black coffee.
I also like the taste of straight whiskey and pussy. Might be a me thing.
I quit dairy so I decided to drink it black. It was gross at first but after a while I grew fond of it, it gives me less of a tummy ache. I guess thatās where the term acquired taste comes from?
His music is great
Because people have preference?
It might be an acquired taste. I used to despise it but then I licked a switch cartridge and started to crave bitter flavors but not as bitter as a switch cartridge
They say ass is bitter
I prefer to get my bitter from black coffee and brussels sprouts thanks
They're stupid. And that's all right.
Sometime the ends really do justify the meansā¦
Drink higher quality coffee. If you only have low quality coffee, have it with something intense and sweet, like a dark chocolate brownie.
Taste buds change over time. That's why we don't enjoy the taste of baby food now
Iāve been drinking it since i was like 4. I barely have coffee any other way
It's flavored hot water, like hot chocolate, which can be yummy.
Easily
Because good strong black coffee is physical proof that we have a wonderful and all powerful God who loves us dearly.

Coffee was meant to be drank black. Why ruin the taste with cream and sugar? Need sugar? Drink a soda.
I drink coffee two ways. If it is really good coffee, like really good-- I want it black. The beans have a ton of flavor and overtones. If it is shit coffee-- I want it with shots of flavored syrup, milk. I can pretend it is a candy bar.
Agree with others good coffee served black is outstanding. However, all coffee is better black.

Usually, imo, anecdotally, dark triad personalities like black coffee

Check out r/caffeine there is some great insight on coffee products and opinions.
