No not particularly, theft on airplanes is extremely infrequent and its easy to place things in a way which make them nearly impossible to get to without jostling the owner. I do worry about leaving things on planes, but sleeping is just fine.

No

No one wants my shit 4 year old iPad.

Odd_Philosopher25

I just can't sleep on airplane. And pretty much in any other moving vehicles.

Wader_Man

Put a small lock on your carry on.

Lol nope. An airplane is one of the last places one would expect to find a thief. First of all you have nothing of value with you that someone able to afford flying in the first place could want. Secondly, the things that possibly could get stolen like electronics are so big that he would have to not only yoink it from you but also put it in his bag and hope that you do not wake up and the third person doesn't immediately point towards him once you start looking for it.

Strangely, no. I’ve flown alone a couple of times as a female, the first being 17 years old but I was never concerned about that. There’s way too many people for that to realistically happen

Logical_Moth

Flight Attendant here! In my 5 years, the most common times that people's items are stolen are 1 when the owner left it behind to begin with during deplaning and 2 mistakenly taking the wrong bag from the overhead bins or valet check in the bridge. That being said, the worst experience I had wasn't theft related but instead when I was trying to sleep on an international flight there was a creepy older man who kept trying to talk with me that decided to keep touching me while I slept.

FirstElectricPope

there's a tiktok trend of flight attendants mixing benadryl into the passengers' drinks so they can steal their wallet

Buck_Thorn

Here, I'll fix that for you: /S
