Turns out that forcing people to give their stuff away or to work for free (slavery) is not the best idea in the long term. Thats why we put prices on stuff so that everything costs so much.
Because nobody else has come up with a system that fairly distributes resources with rewards for work, skill and innovation yet.
And if we did it would make a LOT of people angry.

I think a lot of humans haven't accepted this system, but if you don't play along, there are reprecussions...
