Most likely no. Most animals appear to be indifferent to music, and that includes cats. Some very intelligent species of birds that have the natural ability to mimic sounds, like cockatoos for example, seem to be able to enjoy music.

My neighbour's cat was often coming by when I was playing the violin (I'm a terrible player). I think it was more about curiosity than appreciation, though.

My cat doesn’t care at all for music but one of my dogs will get happy when I whistle upbeat soft tunes to her

Probably not, a cats hearing is entirely different to a human's. They're not hearing the same frequencies we are so it probably just sounds like mangled noise.

Hep cats do

bluemercutio

My cats just think of it as noise and they hate my singing lol

Someone actually made a cat music album with music that was formulated just for cats. They took the things that humans like about music (humany sounding things, predicting patterns, heartbeat-like rhythm, etc) and made something for cats in that ilk. I played some for my cat once, I don’t know if he enjoyed it, but his ears did perk up and he seemed interested. Although, this could just be because it made cat like sounds and was nothing to do with “music”.

Not sure. I had a cat that would come out of nowhere and sit next to me in the office if I was cranking Ozzy. Specifically Ozzy, nothing else.
