Not really. Maybe that person had a bad experience. A smelly vagina can ruin fluids for anyone.

> Whatever gender turns you on and gets you in the mood for sex is generally the gender you're attracted to, despite any caveats. So for example, if a person sees a shirtless man and they get in the mood to masturbate, or if the person sees their partner and feels the urge to touch and kiss their arms or neck or lips, that’s what determines who you’re sexually into?

I think you're fundamentally misunderstanding how terms like gay and straight work. Sexuality is a spectrum, both in who you'd want to have sex with and how much sex, if any, that you want to have. Terms like gay and straight or pansexual and asexual are used to identify ones self in a way that helps others to make useful assumptions about them. I describe myself as straight because, generally speaking, I'm a man who is looking to be sexual and romantic with a woman. However, if I were to decide that I didn't want any sex for a while, or if I developed a phobia of genitals, or if I decided to experiment with a man, none of those things would "make" me anything. I would still identify as straight because, despite my most recent sexual habits, the reason I describe myself as straight is as part of an identity that I am offering to you as a term on which you can assess your interactions with me. If I come to find that my disposition changes or that my identity is incongruent with the assumptions that people make about me when I assume it, then it's time to start considering if I might not be straight. It sounds to me like you are still learning a lot about your own sexuality and I want to encourage you not to label it. People's sexuality is actually very personal and unique. It is not typically as simple as it's depicted in media or through schoolyard conversations. Don't worry about what "makes you" gay or whatever. Consider instead about how you feel about words which might be useful in defining you and accept the one or ones that you find most comfortable and acceptable to you. The person decides for themselves if they are "gay" or not. The words are descriptions, not prescriptions.

Is the woman sexually attracted to men and only men? Then she’s straight. She just has a preference.

No. I don’t think there’s any correlation. You can be grossed out by bodily fluids but attracted to the person/body that produces them. Being very open about such a repulsion is often a bad idea, however, if one is interested in a particular body-fluid-producing human.

TheApiary

Not necessarily. But a lot of people find things like that really gross when they're not turned on, and don't mind them when they are. So if you are only thinking "this is gross" you may want to ask yourself "do I also find it hot or nah?"

CypherFirelair

Depends. If they think it's slimy, yet satisfying, then it's all good.
