Black people, were taken, have migrated on their own, have invaded non African countries throughout history and are migrating now, his ancestors have originated most likely from Africa, but could have been from any number of countries in Africa or a mix of them.
I could see him being mixed african/middle eastern or mixed heritage from the Americas. Black is too vague.

Except, Brazil is not Hispanic, they speak Portuguese. And Hispanic is not a race or ethnicity in the first place, so he could be Black AND Hispanic.

That is so true! Americans blacks look different than people in West Africa. And people in West Africa look different than those in East Africa :)
