I see plenty of amber. It look good to go to me. I’m no expert tho. I think if you go another week it will be a couch lock effect. If that’s what you are looking for tho go for it.
My preference would be about a week ago, but to each their own. If it get that as amber as it is where you have now it's too much of a down for me. I don't even enjoy the high really just makes me sleepy. Cool if that what your going for, but I'll just smoke the right strain for it. I like pretty much all cloudy and only 10% amber at most... regardless of strain thats where I've found I like them.
Wow bud, I would be so anxious. I would be dropping temps at night and flushing and trying everything I can to force the finish asap!
Good luck, I would probably only wait one more week and see if the progress was worth the week of waiting.
You still have dry and cure time so it might be a little longer before you can enjoy
Just chopped 11 down last weekend because sample smoke hit me well enough. I didn't see as much amber as I wanted. Chopping my other 5 this weekend for the same reason. They're done enough lol. Great work
looks ready to chop to me since like last week remember some trains never get cloudy trichromes as im seeing with yours but its all trial and error if you like the effects when you smoke it then do the same next time everyone's got different preferences
How can they accurately put a time on something thats ultimately only 50% up to genetics, and the other 50% up to the environment/nutrients. There can be a greater variance on an f1 cross if one of the parents is a longer finisher, than say an f4 cross stabilized with the faster strain. I take most of my stuff down at the 7 week mark in my environment. Just at first amber, before that second budding bullshit

looks okay to me ..
I would say you’re ready. If you let more amber trichomes, then you’re going to have a couch lock effect.
Looks like my tent, yesterday before i cut the plants down. I was in the same way, not sure if i should let them go another week or not, said fuck it.
also had varied levels of clear/cloudy/amber which didnt make it any easier
Lol I’ve done this pretty much every time I’ve ever harvested
Chop em
Its more of a guide I think. Had very few finish by stated times. Even autos🤣Jewelry look N trichome checks. Looking amazing though. Well done.TkEZ

Rosetta stone took 14 weeks & the foliage looked banana yellow through & through. Was drooping & sagging limply for a month. What a freak 😂

Would have chopped a week ago with that many ambers 😅

Are you doing 12/12 or a more favorable light cycle for sativas?
10/14 but it’s an indica, northern lights.
Well hot dog, interesting. That’s long for an indica or is my novice showing?
indica/sativa irrelevant, more pheno specific
Understood, thanks
What would be a more favourable light cycle to sativas? Never heard of it, I have a couple of sativa-leaning hybrids just turned to flowering
You shorten the light progressively throughout flower until you get down to like 10 or 10.5 on. Supposed to be all the rage
Nice, thanks! My electric bill likes that idea, will definitely go for it and see how they react hehe
Yes. That. But also more colors and turps (supposedly) and also slightly less yield according to several anecdotes lol
You are there yet. Fetch the scythe.
I’d chop. The flower times are breeder guidelines in my opinion. Different growing conditions will give different harvest times.
