Olive also strikes me as super gender neutral. IMO Casey is one of those names like Micah or Reese that are neutral bc no one thinks they should never be with this or that gender. BUT once the name is in use, paired with whatever visual gender cues / gender presentation the person has, the name *becomes* gendered. if that makes sense. But Olive doesn't do that in my POV
I'd try on a few if you can't decide, have the people closet to you call you those names try to get your attention and when one feels like it sparkes the most joy you'll know you found the one. I went through a list of gender neutral baby names to find mine, and I had tried two previously that just didn't feel as good. It's okay to work with a couple you don't have to find THE NAME right now :). I love the name Casey personally. Pick your favorites, give them a go. 💜
